Cash Grab!

This game and its profit motives drag an hour long experience with a decent story and visuals into a pathetic and blatantly obvious cash grab that is beyond even what I could have imagined for being on par with no budget-low quality mobile games that should be far from comparable to a main release such as this. Daily missions that can’t be completed without ads? Placing even more ads anywhere imaginable? How about getting some decent progress in the game? Good luck getting past the first 5 chapters of the game with the insane amount of luck required to get skills that are objectively better than others (unlike in other similar survivor games that incorporate skill by letting the player combine skills to gain a powerful buff, any resemblance of skill besides moving around and avoiding enemies is lost on this game).

Extremely disappointed with the Devs

Waited 10+ years for the third part and this is what we get. You can’t just destroy a legacy game like that. I was so happy to see a third part to this game but this one turns out to be another greedy money making machine. Filled with micro transactions and unplayable missions. Game is impossible to beat. The game just prevents you from ending it. The devs have just gotten greedy and malicious that they don’t want people to end this game.

You cannot literally finish campaign because the game will make sure you don’t. The metal scraps are a garbage of a resource. It should’ve been just earning cash through driving and repairing but turns out you gotta do missions in the main campaign to drive. The campaign is so pointless that i just deleted the game. You cannot beat the bosses because every round is different. I reach the 30th room and boss just kills me randomly. Drops are different and it’s impossible to permute through each and every round without raging

The driving is a scam as well. I keep upgrading my cars performance but the fuel never preserves. The fuel in the previous games was dependent on the time but this game makes sure your fuel ends before you get to the metal scraps. I kept upgrading but the car just stops at the same flag every time no matter how many routes i take.

This game is a let down and ten plus years of wait was a disappointment. Mobile gaming is dead

Worst Monthly Deal Ever

$10 for the monthly deal of 10% cash earnings and you can only skip two bloody ads in a whole game is a total ripoff lol. It’s the same as you don’t pay for that ten dollars at all. Most of the other games give you options to have all ads removed for a price from monthly or permanent deal is more pleasing than this game has offered. Utterly useless deal imo. You can bet for sure that I won’t be investing any further into this game after the countdown comes to its end.

Besides this awful deal, you get to play unlimited time and no need to wait for energy to be replenish.

NOTE: Just play free and don’t buy anything in game with your real money…not one of them are worthy of your wallet. I tried some and they are as useless as the monthly deal…

The developers want you to get mad and delete I think

When you die in a stage and you pick to watch a video to revive it doesn’t tell you this but your movement speed is gonna be decreased so much you probably won’t survive the next stage. That’s so aggravating that I’d like to have a cage match with the developer that thought that was a good idea. Also why make it so hard to be able to upgrade the car? I like the game as a whole but the details you’ll notice after a week of playing are gonna aggravate you for sure. I’ve been playing earn to die games since it was just about driving a car and in every game rather than make more content to play to make the game longer they always make it take forever to upgrade anything after the first car or 2

憋了坨大的

射僵尸,各种神奇buff。 广告模拟器

You just drive a car 😂

Lol

This isn’t Earn to Die

I was really looking forward to this game given I had a blast with the first two, I mean where can you go wrong with driving an armored vehicle through hordes of zombies right? Well when you almost completely take out that core mechanic of the game and convert it into a platformer which is 99% grinding through pointless rooms and 1% the old game you used to love you’re left disappointed. I guess I’ll just go back to playing the first two games, atleast with those they knew what they were doing. This game is quite literally the definition of the popular saying “If it isn’t broken why fix it?”.

Complete trend chase

I’ve been a fan of this series for years and I was waiting long enough for a third installment of this series so I can start driving, upgrading, and running zombies over again! Yet here I am dealing with “levels” where I gain power ups and stuff so I can collect these car parts through an extremely tedious process. It’s just survivor io mechanics combined with the actual gameplay. Literal disappointment. 😬

Don’t get me wrong but what happened with the idea of just keeping things the way they always were? I like the idea of putting a twist but man this is not the twist I was looking for.

Nothing like the first two

Nobody care about running around dodging bullets I just want to crash through zombies

Promising, yet disappointing

I am a huge fan of the previous games, so I thought this game would be for me. The first few weeks of playing this game are really fun. I really like the roguelike in person system. However, this system is way more important to the game than the driving, which most of the time seems useless. The ads are also so necessary to beating this game that it really turns me away from wanting to play.

However, I could still like this game with ads and even with the driving section feeling like a mini-game. The true problem with this game is the balance. Some weapons are useless, but even with the most useful equipment you will eventually hit a wall in progress. Getting past epic equipment is close to impossible, and without that you cannot make it past room 13. Upgrading takes forever and is hard to do, and unlocking new cars takes so long when each level takes a miracle to beat. It’s a shame because this game has promise, so hopefully the dev team can balance it and fix its glaring issues.

Good time waster, bad earn to die.

This is not earn to die, this is a completely different game which the developers are labeling such, the gameplay is nothing like the previous games and lacks most of what made those games fun, like the driving which is a near non factor in this game. I would go to the other games but they cost money and I’m not spending money on them when they were free before. If this were just a spin off game and the actual game were still accessible I would give this a great review, probably 3-4 stars for the type of game it is, but this is supposed to be earn to die and it’s such a step down from exodus that I can’t give it a good rating. The sense of progress you got from getting further and further in the map as you made your way to the end goal in the previous earn to die games is lost, I only remember how far I’ve made it in the stage when I see a boss.

Cash grab

I never write reviews but I’m tired of free games needing you to spend money for any effect on the game. I’ll start off by saying the game is fun. I think they did a good job with new feature and I’ve always liked the driving part, but you need to play the character part to earn some of your later car upgrades then there is a point were you can’t earn anymore rewards in a day. I’ve played ff7 a bunch so I know what end game grinding is and that’s something I don’t want to do at the beginning of a game I’ve already spent 50-60 dollars which I never do and I believe I’ll have to spend more to even think about getting to the last level by the end of the year so if you like playing levels over and over again without too much of a reward because the real rewards are in the store were you have to spend money. I would rather spend 20 dollars on a game like this and I probably would so I could earn weapons and gear naturally in the game as a game reward instead of through a way that try’s to get me to open up my wallet! I just wish cell phone games would quit this practice that really hurts true games from hitting the market it’s a 15 dollars value at max and should never have to watch a 45 second long commercial for extra benefits

Very good game, but…

I downloaded the game a week ago and the beginning was amazing the start wasn’t to easy or hard and the damage was balanced, but now later into the game a single bullet barely even does a sliver of damage, and that may sound normal but when you have to go up against hordes of mixed enemies it’s extremely hard, and to add on im still using the same gun they give in the start because I haven’t got a single weapon from the cases, then to add on to that it isn’t easy to get gold for the cases either you are practically forced to go and try and finish harder rounds to get gold unless you want to go and watch adds or waste money, but doing those harder rounds are incredibly difficult when you are insanely weak compared to the enemies, very good game and I know absolutely nothing in games so I don’t want to say anything but there are some thing’s that could help the game be even better!!

room for improvement

Its not the friendliest to f2p players with daily task requiring 5 ads just to unlock then tasks can be be the normal kill so and so but can also be like acquire a certain power up multiple times I spent 3 hours trying to do it and never got the 2 I needed in 1 run whether I was doing it on an easier stage and it just never showed up in starting power up overall the game although grindier than the 2nd is better though it falls behind the 1st in satisfaction of gameplay

A homage to the classics with new aspects to change up the gameplay

The driving bits from the original games are now a backseat side mission that is certainly fun but could use some more interconnecting parts;
More ways to earn scrap, such as from chests and the main game
And encouraging players to actually play the driving mode, better rewards and more replay ability
Do add that better reward after 10 openings bit similar games have, it keeps us players around for longer as long as you don’t overdo the rewards

Could’ve been better

Ok, so I’ve already beaten earn to die 1 and 2. I’ve been waiting and when I played it, it didn’t feel the same. But, the cutscene was legendary and the driving moment was cool, until I noticed, 30 rooms! Couldn’t you lower it to 25? I constantly keep on dying on stage four. I mean I enjoyed the driving part but my car just keeps on stoping further than my highest record. It feels like scraps are insane to get because I can barely get any when my car runs out of fuel, the fuel isn’t so good being maxed compared to the army truck and mining truck (yes, I know they are the best cars in earn to die) also, it’s a really greedy earn to die didn’t have any payments, I love the game, but some things kinda ruined it.

The first review

I will say not too bad but it’s just not the same as the older games where you have to upgrade cars and running out of fuel and whatnot. Now it’s just a level game where you just jump around. I was hoping for another game about driving not another shooter. I miss whenever I downloaded an earn to die I saw new cars and a new idea. Now it’s not even that cool anymore to see another earn to die. We would have been much happier with an earn to die 3 not whatever this is. Anyway it has a good story and a great character. I do recommend playing if you never played the others.

Quite fun but…

I have been really enjoying this game! The only thing that bothers me is the game offers you rewards for watching an add here and there, but it has never worked successfully. You always get stuck after the add is done and cant go back to the game. If this function worked, my rating would be higher. I don’t mind watching an add to get some in game benefits, but that part doesn’t work. It wouldn’t be so bad if it didn’t get stuck because you have to close out of EarntoDieRogue completely and you lose the progress on going through he building you are in.

Impossible difficulty

At some point, the games becomes impossibly difficult to avoid getting hit. The zookeeper boss has killed me with invisible projectiles multiple times now. I thought maybe it was a one time bug but it has happened every time it gets to low health. This is ridiculous. Even if money was being spent, it would still be impossible to beat a level like that. I’m top of that, zombie stutter so much, making it hard to avoid when they jump across a gap and hit since the jumped are instantaneous. The developers need to do some serious balance changing and bug fixing. At this point it’s impossible to progress.

Boring

I have only been playing for half and hour trying to unlock the first car and the gameplay loot as the guy is already very boring. The car is also way to hard to get sp i dont even know what happens once you get it

The game is good, could be better though.

I am on the first level of the game, the game is...well...good I'll say so, but are 30 rooms REALLY important? Personally, I would say ETD2 was better cause of how the game looks and how the car can get destroyed, this game is like...a simulator game or a grinding game, and i dont play ETD for the grinding, i play it for the cars, and is it important to add a skill system? As I said, 30 rooms are not important, and now we have to get blueprints for the cars? Jeez, in the rooms, the guns are slow and do low damage, it got boring really quickly, so I think you should ATLEAST lower the amount of rooms and increase the chances of the blueprints, cause I do not want to go through all these rooms trying to freaking slide and jump likes its call of duty.

My rating

Okay so when I first saw this there were only 5 reviews and I wanted to take a couple days to play the game for a review. I gave it 4 stars because I do like the game. It’s added a new part to the Earn To Die games I’ve played as a kid. Newer times makes different things out of older stuff. I think the rooms stuff was a fun mix, but you’re definitely dependent on the room part it feels. And less driving which kinda felt odd but different time than how things were. Also no I don’t believe car pieces break off y’all haven’t seen it happen yet lol. Power ups kinda funny to I think there silly and fun, oh also the voice and lines were a real throwback for me hahahaha. I usually play this 30minutes to 3hours on the week days mostly, I like this new version of Earn To Die for sure. It was fun to explore an old game made for a newer generation. So I guess you’re asking why not 5 stars, well I guess it’s because it doesn’t feel perfect. Nothings perfect in my opinion, if things were than what would be next? Nothing, nothing would be next. But honestly really fun and something I enjoy I dono if this was made by the Earn To Die makers themselves but yk what it’s a fun little game with a little bit of throwbacks to the old games. Thank you for reading my Ted Talk yall😂 enjoy the game

Fun game but some reverted changes have hurt it

Great game. Been playing for months since release. Definitely recommend it as it is great to play on a quick break.

One issue recently however, zombies for the last few weeks havent been able to drop down directly from overhead. Its near impossible to dodge and when you get to the hazmat zeds, it can totally destroy a run. This wasn’t happening the last few weeks and seems to have been brought back.

Also, the toxic piles that spawn zombies need some tuning. They should have a max spawn rate because sometimes, you just cannot get to them and they endlessly spawn enemies.

Great, but a few things need to be worked on

First off, I would like to say that I do enjoy the game. I haven't gotten too far but the progression seems to be fine and not bogged down by pay-to-win features. However, I have some qualms about the upgrades. Many of them seem to do the same thing. Blood Bag and Fungus are essentially the same thing, except one is dependent on getting a zombie room. And Golden Apple just seems to be worse than those 2. Gasoline and radiation both do DOT and aren't special enough to really care about running one over the other. Echo bullet and side magazine seem to be the same. If not, then one is just worse than the other. Another thing about upgrades is that some of them are just not explained well enough. The Astro Helmet seems to only be one time use, but maybe it's not? And how much damage reduction does it give? Water Bottle says +25% heal and overheal goes to max, but I assumed that was a +25% heal buff to future healing and that it would give me max HP from after I overhealed in the future. Also, the upgrade pool isn't that expansive. I'm sure that will be addressed in the future (hopefully.) Anyways, that's about all I've noticed from a few hours playing.

Enemies do way to much damage and level are near impossible to beat

The game is great I love it but the enemies are way to tanky and it is literally near impossible to dodge any attacks. As for the driving mode it’s good just that you lose momentum with any little roadblock and it’s hard to make it farther than your past attempt because of that. All in all great game just mega nerf the jumping frogs and the female rollerblading zombies they are way too op and impossible to dodge oh and also all of the flying guns enemy those are really impossible to dodge and have ridiculous aimbot

Very good game just ones little fix would be nice

The game is really well done but I would like if you guys added a setting for where you could change where the steering button is because for me it feels kinda uncomfortable having the buttons on the corner like that i appreciate it

Very Different, but good!

If you go in expecting earn to die you’ll be disappointed, but as a fan of the roguelite genre I loved this game, there isn’t any forced ads from my playtime, overall, pretty good

It’s good

Alrighty second review of the game from me I will give it the benefit of the doubt but if this is possibly the final earn to die could we maybe see the devs ( hopefully you see this) listen to the community of what they want personally one thing I would live is more cars SUVs sedans trucks ETC and instead of crates PLEASE gas station markers!!!! Getting scraps is also very difficult even with the missions also I would also a map of where we’re traveling from just like The first one I would love a bit more realistic instead of kinda cartoony also if there an ending cutscene I don’t want this to be the last and if it is we need updates to keep the games community alive Thanks.

Good with a chance at amazing

Great game so far I’ve personally put in over 20hrs and I am having a lot of fun with the game. I played both etd1 and etd2 and still find this game very fun and I like the twist with adding the rounds of enemies on foot. However I believe the $10 monthly subscription should come with no ads for anything not just specific things such as the daily missions and market at the start of the run.

Also I’ve played 5+ hrs into trying to do daily missions twice now and struggle finishing the last missions where I need to get either one of the super power ups or double level in a power up. I believe if you have a daily mission it should then prioritize those power ups in your run. Then you can always get your daily’s done without spending an absurd amount of time on a mission.

This game is fun but has some flaws

Yes, dont get me wrong this is fun but when we are killing the zombies and we have took enough damage we cannot regen our health so can you please chance that?

Thanks. - Alex

I hate Apple’s review system. Great game so far

I’d give 5 stars if it would let me. Loving the game so far and not sure if my last review was kept since it seems like it deleted itself so I’m going to cover all the things I said as well as add a few new things. The only real bug I’ve encountered is that the invisibility watch doesn’t seem to really work for anything but appearance. It affects visuals and sounds but it doesn’t seem to have any impact on actual gameplay. The enemies are still drawn toward you and even still attack. It would be nice if eventually a few new playable characters were added, they could have rarities and affect stats later on but it would also be fine if they just changed appearance. It would also be nice if the equipped gear would change what your character was actively wearing. Assuming progression is going to stay based on daily resets I believe a good addition would be to add weekly challenges that are harder if not longer to complete and reward a bit more resources than daily missions, like scrap metal for vehicles or cash with a small chance for a gear piece. If it’s not already implemented the resources obtained through driving should refresh at some point. All in all I’m loving the core mechanics and it’s great to see this game series still kicking. The randomness to enemy spawns makes each run different and once you’re used to the gameplay it’s surprisingly balanced. At first I struggled with the projectiles that ricocheted but it’s nice that it’s not just an easy loop that can be blown through. The gameplay is fun and challenging which is going to keep me coming back. The ads aren’t necessary in any way but can earn some extra resources daily or even revive you at half health if you mess up at the end of a run. Final note I’m loving the game so far and I hope it continues to get new additions as time goes on, and remember STAY OFF HIS VAN.

Driving and the minigun

Love that Earn to die is back, still one of the best mobile games I’ve played and keep playing, but the whole thing that I love about it is kinda stuck behind a 24 hour timer. The whole getting scrap from doing daily missions is nice, but why can’t we buy it with gold? Also the bullets of the minigun are backwards when they enter the gun.

Also, its nice to see a modern sequel that doesn’t throw pop-up ads at random and want you to pay money to stop them. But you could put a little more care towards how this game came to be with the driving still.

Amazing game and excellent quality

I love being able to get out of your car and shoot zombies! The upgrades are a nice addition. The animations are smooth and fluid. Keep it up!

New game after years

Finally the devs have released this game on IOS and not going to lie its amazing!

roguelite base attached to a classic

I played the Earn To Die flash games growing up so I was happy to see there is a new title for it. I’m also a fan of the roguelite format. I’m happy with the maps for cars, and the rooms in the roguelite game mode present a simple but enjoyable challenge

My only complaint is that the upgrade system in the roguelite mode could use some fine-tuning as the explanations of what they do can be difficult to grasp from the ingame explanation, and some of them even seem to be identical upgrades with different names

This is now one of my favorite mobile games I’ve ever played

Absolutely fantastic game with minimal ads

I grew up on the earn to die games and absolutely loved them. Now that this new one came out, I feel it does better than the previous two. It ads a fun new mechanic and part to the games while still maintaining the spirit of the original two. I also love that the ads are minimal. It never puts an ad on screen without you asking to, and not without rewarding you. It also isn’t pay to win, it takes a small amount of grinding to get better and you can keep at a nice steady pace. I really hope it stays that way, as I really respect that. This game also has the most unique and variable vehicles. I wrote this review to say absolutely amazing job, keep up the good work.

4.5 stars

If you’ve played ETD before you know what this is all about. Really fun to play and has great replay value.

Only downside are the dailies. There needs to be tweaks into how often you get to select an upgrade for an existing skill vs a new skill. I got a mission yesterday to get two Lv 2 skills, and got each of them in the first two rooms. Didn’t end up with Lv 2 for either throughout the whole run.

There also needs to be an Exp upgrade

FUN

I loved when the guy said I NEED A CAR 🗿

great addition to the franchise

had this wish listed since the day it was available to and i’m glad I did, it was about time for a new earn to die title and this really sticks to its roots and brings a lot of nostalgia to elementary school computer lab sneaking on notdoppler while the teacher wasn’t looking, and it adds a whole new game mode that adds a ton of replayability. very fun

Best game ever

This game is the best zombie racing game I have ever played it’s super fun like it’s just amazing everything about is awesome

Fantastic

Great new entry in this series. At first when I saw the platforming shoot-em-up stages I was disappointed as this isn’t what I’d expect from an earn to die game. However, the devs have shown they are true masters of gameplay. These levels are even more fun to play than the driving levels in my opinion! The progression mechanics that I love are still there and every play through is more fun than the last. Bravo team! You’ve made yet another fantastic game and I love how you have expanded on this series in new ways!

First

I was first

Nostalgia at its finest

i remember playing earn to die 1 & 2 back in elementary and to see this come back and still remember it this many years later is insane i did expect it to be like the last two games but honestly im not even mad the single player arcade is really fun and challenging i love the power ups and everything else i will say the car bit of the game is still fun but players that were expecting just a car game ain’t gon like this one but i don’t know why you shouldn’t i’d say they over did themselves with this one!.

I love

This game is way better than the other games although they are good this game sets the plot to a whole new level, to adding movement outside that car I would recommend

Quite surprised

The idea that the devs took when creating this game is very good the incorporation of platforming elements as well as rogue lite features. As this game has always been incremental in a sense the idea of levels and having to find the pieces for your car is a really nice touch. I was a little expecting just a normal driving game like 1 but it seems like the devs really put in their time to give something to the fans who have been supporting since the first game a really nice game. So far I am loving it an I’m glad to see one of my favorite games as a kid make a comeback!

Wow

First off all if you grew up in the early-mid 2000s you definitely played on classic sites like Pog & flash games , so obviously I was know stranger to earn to die. Lol look I initially though this was gonna be just another nostalgia trip then ide delete after I had my fill , needless to say this game took me completely by surprise when I find the developer actually expanded the elements , allowing you to leave the car for a 30 floor arena mode with power-ups & upgrades as you go through these floors finding parts for your car which was the whole idea of the original game. This time around there’s just so much more to do im already addicted this is a MUST PLAY.
