Dumb Ways to Die Reviews

I had this game a coupe years ago and LOVED it. It helps reduce stress and really makes you think. The game it’s self is really creative and goofy. Well today I was looking for apps out of boredom and came across this game. I was over the top exited. Every time I get a new game, I always read some reviews. Almost all of them that I read said they were having issues with the amount of ads they had. When I had DumbWaystoDie before , I didn’t remember having a bunch of ads that popped up. So I thought that this game had been around for a long time, so maybe the creator fixed the ad problem. It was obvious after one minute into the game that they did not do ANYTHING. You get ads after all three of your tombstones are gone and it is just ridiculous. It makes me wonder if the creators even listen to the reviews because it has not changed. And if you are reading this and think well maybe dumb ways to die 2 will be better, then you are wrong. While there are less ads, it is harder and just doesn’t make since. This game would have a lot of better reviews if the ads wouldn’t pop up every 2 minutes. Thanks for (maybe) listening .😁

I have had this game forever and remember listening to the dump ways to die song over and over with my cousins and playing constantly to see who could get the best score. I had always had DumbWaystoDie on an old iPad that couldn’t update apps so, I always had the same version of DumbWaystoDie . I recently got a new phone and was trying to find all the apps that I liked to download and found DumbWaystoDie. I was really exited because I heard of all the new updates such as, build a bean, more ways to die😂, daily challenges, and being able to practice different challenges. But with the this new update came sooooooo many ads! Every time you get three tombstones and “die” there’s an ad! Sometimes once you get all three tombstones and “die” they will give you an option to get another life by watching an ad. I will usually skip it but then when I press play again there’s an ad! So what’s the point of watching the ad in the first place! You’re just going to watch one after! Overall DumbWaystoDie is really fun, probably one of my favorite apps but these ads are just letting me down.

This game is astounding. AWESOME!! STUPENDOUS!! It's an amazing game, and stress relieving! This game, like many of the other reviews say, it also makes you think! The only downside is, is that younger audiences could/will be disturbed by this game. Basically, the point of the game is to keep from dying. You get three lives, and there are several fun levels to play in. However, there is blood, head decapitation, showing of bones, fish trying to bite private parts, sewing wounds shut, killing wasps, serial killers, being hit by vehicles, being electrocuted, and more things like that. I do not recommend this game for people who are sensitive to the topics above. Otherwise, the game is hilarious! I, for one, am not sensitive whatsoever and adore this game! I do wish that You could play all levels when practicing without having to pay earned coins, but other than that, this game couldn't be better!

This game came out in 2012 and my friend showed it to me. I thought it was funny and interesting so I downloaded it. Back then there were no ads on it at all and it was so much fun. I could just play and play. Now every time I play and quit a game there is an ad. I do anything on it and I get ads. Also I get some of the mini games are sensitive but the ones that are easy to figure out and do however make it to where you tilt and it doesn’t work or I swipe and it doesn’t do anything. I’ve played this game so many times and I know that I’m capable of doing it but when I wipe coming off the screen and it doesn’t do anything where I’m swiping my hardest and nothing works then something needs to be done. I love the dumb ways to die games but something needs to be done. I get updates need to happen but can’t things be updated without the use of ads every second. Bring back the 2012 version with the same amount of mini games.

I used to LOVE this game. It's cute, stressful, and full of small creatures dying. Lots of fun. I deleted it a while ago because I was getting distracted too often while writing my thesis. I had let it out of my mind for a while and then someone brought it up recently so I decided it was time to redownload it. I absolutely understand that you don't just go around making apps that everyone loves because it's something you enjoy doing pro bono. Money is important and it allows you to keep making new stuff. There definitely is a line though and it's certainly been crossed in DumbWaystoDie. Throw up an ad here and there between games, fine. I'll just mute it and wait until I can try again. Putting ads up every time you click a button is pushing it past my limits. I had DumbWaystoDie on my phone for 5 minutes and had to delete it because it was simply unbearable. Such a shame too because the game is actually fun. Not worth spending any money to get rid of ads, but definitely one of my favorite free apps.

This game, Dumb Ways To Die is a really fun game. For the most part. Sometimes I’ll get an add and it kicks me off the game. I figured out why it would do that to me, and it was because of my WiFi. Always play when your connected. Parents, if your kid asked if they could have this game it should be a 8+ game. There’s some blood to it but not bad.
Overall i would get this game with the permissions of your parents! I know they might say, “No! U need to dooo yer homework! Especially tat math of yers!” But hey this game is worth it.

Note to those overprotective mothers like mine:
This game has gore. Not like really bad stuff but there’s blood. The name of this game as well is kinda sad. There is no dumb way to die. But if you want to know what this game is about, its about saving people from these different ways to die. So your not killing them your trying to save them.

When I first got this game it was super Duper fun but now that I realize that you could respond to games and you could read reviews sorry but I noticed that a long long long long time ago when I saw DumbWaystoDie stores editors note I did not agree at all because like it isn’t funny and if little kids see this they might do inappropriate things I am not telling you to fix the game it’s just that I did not agree that it is funny to die it is really really sad 😢 and I also can’t believe that they also said that when we die we’re gonna start poking a bear and it’s gonna be fun I don’t wanna die The game is fun but I don’t agree so that note took away one star🙃

I’ve been playing this game on and off for a while now. I really like how much fun it is but I feel like they make sure that you don’t get a great score. Like in the one with the sinking boat, when it’s my first thing the shore is like a foot away. But when I’m up 800 points the shore is like 5 feet away. I know they have to make the game harder but they are already speeding up how much time I have to get there and now their making it further away! Also I was just doing the one where you have to stack all the presents on Santa’s sleigh and I got the last present on the sleigh at the last second but they counted it as a death! They do this all the time with all their different games! I know I’m complaining hard right now but I do think it is a really fun game. I just get irritated and I wanted to prepare everyone considering to get this game. I love the fun challenges but I HATE how it’s so rigged. If you get mad easily at games you should probably not get it. If you can handle it it’s really fun so get it!

After looking at a few of the reviews and playing the game myself, I have found that I have found a way around some of the mistakes. First, for the people that have been bothered by the amount of ads in the game, you can easily avoid this by turning on airplane mode, since you can play without wifi. I will say that while this game is extremely fun, it has bothered me by how little time they give you to read the instructions. It does get frustrating when you don't know what to do and you automatically lose. Another thing about DumbWaystoDie is the fact that, while the button to watch the video is still there, it won't let me watch the video. While this game may have a few problems, overall it's a great game. It's funny, fun, and addicting! It is a violent game, so it isn't the best for little kids, but is great for ages 9-10+.

To all the people who are thinking about downloading it, you should! Sure it may be on the morbid side, but, I think that it’s just a cute game for kids and adults. All the games are pretty simple and fun, and it’s relatively easy to earn coins! 👍🏾 With its sill games and characters, and the fact that the game is free, I cannot recommend DumbWaystoDie more! Also to all the people that say “ It’s SOOOOO VIOLENT!!!” One, that’s super Karen-y, two, Look at the title! This game deserves better reviews, and I absolutely love it! It’s actually helped me mourn my fish, his name was prince the king ( Cute name right? ) who sadly passed away in 2016. ( I miss him! ) Overall this is a great game, that is wholesome fun! When I was younger I would constantly play this game to the point where I was so good the bear wouldn’t eat me not even once! I got older and got a new phone and sadly forgot about this game, though today since I was bored I was looking through DumbWaystoDie Store when I came across my childhood game! I was beyond excited so I decided to download it. While I was waiting for it to download I proceeded to read some reviews and most of them complained about how many adds there were, I didn’t pay attention to them since I played this since I was a kid with no adds what so ever. The game downloaded and I opened DumbWaystoDie to be greeted to an add.... many adds came after that as I kept playing. So I really do agree with all these people and dare to say that there are way too many adds in this game. Thank you for your time:)

When I first saw this game I was like this is the game I need but honestly it's really not. When I started to play this game it let me take full control and I was able to understand what to do but after a few levels it didn't explain specific directions and I had no idea what to do. For example when it told me to move something witch I still don’t know what it wanted me to move it wasn’t helpful whatsoever. I don’t really recommend this game unless you like games that you really think you like it. So sorry for people who like this game. I hope they also fix the lives there should be unlimited lives and less ads and even though you might watch a minute long video you only get one life. I hope this problem gets fixed soon because I like the concept of the game. Thank you for reading my review.

I love the game but add more stuff to build a bean like more bodies and colors like all of the characters colors and bodies and add a dance thing where you can be standard or second dancers i really want build a bean to have those things because that would be a good idea to me. Even though it has too many ads I don’t care but I also want the characters faces and deaths because some characters have deaths that are not on build a bean and if you guys add that then if I could I would rate DumbWaystoDie a 10 stars! And do something that shows your character death in the train station 🚉 and add the little hairs they got and keep up the good work! 😃 I asked this because I want to look like doofus. Please reply

This game is just awful. I hate it. It makes me want to end it all. I decided to install it for nostalgic purposes, but was extremely disappointed when I replayed it only to find this game horrendous. I would not recommend downloading it. It’s not worth it. The controls are awful and the challenges are repetitive and get quite boring after five minutes of playing it. This game makes me feels uncontrollable waves of anger and makes me want to punch a lamp. As I said before, I installed this for nostalgic purposes because I loved this game when I was younger and was extremely let down when they changed some of the challenges. Furthermore, I also have quite the distain for games that ask you if you want an extra life at the cost of playing an advertisement and when you click no they play one anyway. All and all, this was quite the saddening experience as I loved this game as a child. Hope this review was helpful.

I just got this game and I love it! I've always wanted to get it but I didn't think I would have enough space on my phone for it but I looked and I could get it. There are ads but they really don't pop up for me that much which is nice. If you want. You can pay for more coins and different accessories for your character if you decide it make one. And I discovered that you can play this game offline! No wifi needed which is pretty sweet to me. Overall this game is kinda violent and may not be suitable for younger peoples but it's a really fun and cool game. Kind of repetitive with the different levels but it's worth to get and I can't wait for more updates to come!

I found this game to be very fun at first, but after a while it became a bit boring. I would have liked to see more updates or levels. While I did enjoy dumb ways 2, it was still pretty much the same game. A couple of the levels were hard to understand, or you didn’t know what you were doing wrong. It was very frustrating at times.

Despite all of this, I did enjoy playing it in short intervals, and if you like games by companies such as cheetah mobile, you will like this game because it has a similar pacing. It is very creative and has lots of comical elements in it. It is fun to see the dumb ways to die you could have never thought of. Overall, in a world of rip-offs and remakes and all the same games, dumb ways to die is a nice game that I would recommend to most people.

I love your game and I played it a long time ago, it didn’t have much ads, when I broke my iPad, I forgot about DumbWaystoDie , but now when my sister played, it looked addicting and I wanted to download it, how bad I am about this game, every time I press “menu” or whatever, it literally shows me an ad every time, and the ads are TOO long, i can’t even press the X button after that, and every time I double tap and swipe out DumbWaystoDie and go back in, sometimes THE AD IS STILL THERE like it just breaks the game apart too much, I would like you to delete the ads, some of them, if you don’t, I’m deleting DumbWaystoDie, but I’m gonna move on to “dumb ways to die 2” if you don’t remove the ads, and every time there’s too much ads, I’m leaving the game physically

DumbWaystoDie is good but it needs many many improvements.
First of all let’s say that the ads are very very annoying. Even when you pass them you already know that there is more to come.
Second of all , in my opinion, when you pass some certain scores you get a bean , it makes you more addicted to DumbWaystoDie. Well that is not the problem. The problem is that after you get some beans it is very hard to get more since the game gets much more harder and faster that you don’t know what to do and it gets much more annoying.
Thirdly when you play more, and when you accomplish a level there are something called:
The boo score and nice weather today score and etc...
Well there are much more boo score and bad luck score that even if you achieve a very good score this negative marks will destroy and make your score less than the first one that it seems like the owner of this game doesn’t want people winning more beans. And that is not cool. 😒
I , myself have deleted this game since it is annoying and it made me angry 😠 with this issues.
I don’t recommend this game that much that i used to do when i was a new player.

This game is awesome, but I have an idea on how it can be a little better. I feel that maybe at the train station you see as soon as you enter the game, you can tap whatever beans you have earned, and they will die in the unique way that they do in the actual gameplay, and if you tap them twice, then they get their own unique ending.(ex. If you tap botch once, a then he will bleed to death, but if you tap him twice, a moose will come, pick him up, and they will ride off happily ever after, until it comes back to the train station, and drops him off.) I have some more ideas for the second game if you want to check that out.

Dumb Ways to Die is a really fun, kind-of-strategic game. I like how the new update gave more options like customizing your own character to use in game, and new challenges. The only thing that I don’t like about the update is that you can’t watch the Dumb Ways to Die video. I really liked that video. Another thing is that the ads basically take over the game. After you use up all three of your “lives”, you get the option to watch an ad and continue. You can also skip. So I didn’t really want to watch an ad, so I skipped. So I clicked the Main Menu button and I got an ad. So what’s the point in skipping, if you’re still going to get an ad anyway? Please fix this so that I don’t have to watch an ad EVERY SINGLE TIME after I die. Overall, I really like Dumb Ways to Die, and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes funny, strategical games.
