Great app for my daughter!

I got Learninggames for my 3-year-old daughter to play with. My preschool closed and so I went on a search for some educational apps to buy so that she can play and learn while I’m working from home. She seems to play with Learninggames more than the others. I think these puzzles and games are a fun way for her to get to know all the letters and a bunch of new words. She now seems to love grabbing her magnetic letters and creating the same words she learned from Learninggames on our refrigerator. With pretty great accuracy! Definitely helps me multitask raising her and trying to still be productive while working from home. Worth it for me and I already have plans for another app when she inevitably gets bored with this one (which she always does, I suspect she might have ADHD, but that is another story).

We’re Speechless

My daughter is two years and a half old and talks here and there, but has struggled with speech. We downloaded Learninggames as a way to entertain her and hoping she would learn eventually, come to find out that she has learned the entire alphabet when showing her the flash cards. We are absolutely stunned that she has learned to recognize and say the letters of the alphabet and some new words, considering that she only started talking recently. Absolutely recommend Learninggames! Total game changer!

Beware, set up for kids to easily purchase within the app

It looks like a good app. The Main down fall here for our family is that right away we noticed how easy it is to purchase within Learninggames . Even if you have it locked to your finger print. Learninggames asked you a simple addition question to “verify you are an adult” once you enter the correct answer it waits a while (you handed to your kid thinking it’s ready to use) and unlocks a next step and gives you a button to press to make a purchase. Even the adult can accidentally press on the button the purchase by mistake. I might have not explained this correctly because I have two toddlers I have to get back to but parents to my warning serious please. I hope the provider takes this as a friendly but serious notice that they have to change something about the purchase options.

Why are we so petty.

I just wanted to say I am going to purchase Learninggames to satisfy my child with a little thing that she likes and has a fun time learning with. I don’t appreciate the two or so letters that you have open for the children to play with before they grow frustrated with being blocked by messages they don’t understand. The way I feel bullied into still getting this because you have to pay to get to the next letter. I’m just saying that you should let the kids get a chance to get to more of the stuff that you have to offer for fun and learning before the parents have to get the $$. The two stars are in my opinion the best way to explain. I just had to get that off my chest, otherwise I’m happy with Learninggames because my two year old enjoys playing with this one a lot.

First time user

My 4 yr old granddaughter did learn the letter A. The examples were like writing the letter when I was in school lol. She got worn out popping the balloons while searching for the letter A. Maybe shorten it a hair and put the A’s a little closer together. Just on a phone. No ads popped up but it did force me to write a review immediately after so my 5 stars maybe temporary if it becomes ad crazy (we all know toddlers LOVE to push buttons, lol) make sure you have your parental controls set. So far it’s excellent!

Doesn’t work with Family sharing or Ask to buy Features

Me and Apple advisor worked together for over an hour via screen sharing but Learninggames didn’t work with both Family sharing and Ask to buy features.

1. I tried to buy unlock everything on my iPhone and share it with my kid on their iPad but Learninggames wanted me to buy it again on iPad and could not read my purchase on parent account. Learninggames says it supports family sharing.

2. We requested a refund for this on my account and tried to purchase this directly on the kid’s iPad. I have ‘Ask to buy’ feature enabled, so when I try to do an in-app purchase on iPad, it goes to a parent for approval and charges the parent account.. instead of waiting app just cancels the purchase and asks to update a payment method which isn’t right. So it is a endless loop where you cannot make an in-app purchase.

It’s a shame that an app with 127k reviews cannot work with the latest family sharing features of iOS. Was suggested to find an other app after an hour of troubleshooting session with an Apple advisor

Simple

Learninggames was one of the first I downloaded on my sons iPad , my first thoughts were wow this Is pretty cool. It wasn’t until I looked at other apps that were similar that I realized how great Learninggames was. I found that eventually with the other apps my son would need my help, or I was confused myself on exactly how to interact with Learninggames . Since downloading Learninggames my son has been able to independently learn at his own pace. I find he plays with this game more often then others and I thinks that speaks for itself. Great job with Learninggames

Pay for the upgrade

My 4 year old son LOVES Learninggames. It’s clear that the developers have put a lot of time and thought into its functionality. We’ve tested many learning apps and believe this is one of the best. Reviews here with low ratings are largely complaints of people not wanting to pay for upgraded features; not actual reviews of the product itself. If you cap the value of your child’s education for an app that they love at $8.99, then you’ve got major issues.

From the minute we downloaded it!

I was looking for a toddler learning app and stumbled upon this one deciding to give it a try. I purchased the subscription immediately! My daughter was not only figuring out where to place the letters, but we also caught her saying the words to the objects after it was pronounced from the screen. We were amazed and proud. Games like these are a no brainer for us as we enjoy the fact that she is learning and having fun at the same time!

Wouldn’t recommend

I bought this for my toddler and Unlocked all the games so my toddler could play all of the options. It was a good game until I had to delete it to make room on my phone
Than when I downloaded it again, it said I had to “sign in” to my account to be able to unlock my previous purchase and “connect my internet”.
Well, I am already signed in and my internet works fine. I guess they want you to pay again to be able to play and unlock again.
Would NOT recommend unless you plan to not ever delete the game.
I don’t have any issues with other games deleting and installing again after I make purchases.

This is an amazing app

My kid has been out of school since April an as I was going over certain letters with her then I realized that basically I felt like I was sending her to a daycare not school I say this because my kid didn’t know anything all they were doing was taking my kid outside an taking a nap an eating that’s it an I was so devastated made me really feel like I let her down but now with Learninggames she’s right on track thank you sooooo much ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Best app for toddlers

I downloaded this after a friends referral and I am so glad I did! My one year old was playing with it on and off in the beginning. But the more I encouraged him to play the more he liked it and asked for it randomly. within two weeks of using it I noticed one day he was piecing the words on his own! Now he’s a pro, I love how easy Learninggames is... I mean even my 19 month old was able to learn how to piece words together if that isn’t amazing idk what is.

Game Changer

Hypocrites are those who think screen time is just a No No duh! Screen Time is great especially if it’s educational and besides, it’s technology. Too much of it is bad, same concept applies to adult of too much usage of phone and social media duh! My son literally learned his ABCs through Learninggames and he just loves it. And the fact that Learninggames is very simple and straightforward is just what we wanted. Very thankful!

Best thing since sliced bread

I got this game for my two year old, btw she just turned two. I’m super amazed how easily she caught on! After every word she spelled, the word would give a picture and pronounce it for her; then she would repeat the word! It’s been three days with Learninggames and I promise you she is pronouncing words clearer and she has a bigger vocabulary. Not to mention she recognizes ALLLL of the letters of the alphabet now.

Very useful

Very cute fun easy and helpful way for toddlers to learn and get ahead for kindergarten motor function and listening skill. Currently teaching my two year old coordination skills puzzle pieces and helps her by giving her hints to where pieces go mad how to put letters back together she know all the letters in the alphabet and not by just singing the alphabet song . I highly recommend Learninggames

No good...

This game promoted and forced to write a review. Picked just so my kid could continue learning/ playing. I was pretty pleased (aside from the forceful prompt) about the game until I went to buy the full version which it kept prompting that I “user cancelling order” which CLEARLY was not the case because I wanted my kid to continue playing. It ended up just being a huge red flag because I have never seen a prompt like that which led me to believe this game had some shadiness to it. I would have given one or no stars but like I said I thought the game was great and my kid enjoyed playing... while he did get to play

What an amazing tool!

Looking for ways for my daughter to get practice with her letters, especially since pre-school may not be the option for everyone at this time. Learninggames has great repetition of letters, their names and examples of words that begin with that letter. Also great interactive games after practice of each letter! As an elementary educator, I would highly recommend Learninggames for letter practice.

More than satisfied

My daughter is 17 months and she is able to use Learninggames on her own. She is able to identify each letter and place them in their correct spot when creating words. Although she can not read yet she is able to relate basic items with the words such as apple and ball. If I didn’t see it myself I would not believe it.

We shall see

After we are able to try more than one letter, I'll be back to properly review this game.
In order to "do" more than one letter, you must review or pay and although I tried 8 times to pay and all attempts were failed, none of which were any fault often own, I kept getting error codes, I'm stuck reviewing a game that I'm not actually sure about. So we shall see.

Money hungry

I got Learninggames for my 1 year old, so far she loves it but i hate the fact that it literally only give you one letter for free!! I was going to buy it but wanted to test make sure she likes it first but barely had anything to test because after you finish A and move on to B which has no lock , you are asked to rate it, if you don’t rate it you are pushed Back to home screen, so you never get to do B unless you rate it. I feel like if you have a good product ppl will buy, don’t jam it down their throats after the first one and only free letter. Was a huge disappointment! It’s for kids at least let them have A B & C uninterrupted.

TVI

I really like this application. The i.lustrations are large but well defined. I like that it gives you more than one opportunity with the letter in upper and lower case. The reinforcement with the balloons many times will hold their interest while they have several and varied attempt to show understanding. I am a special education intervention specialist and will use this with my Preschoolers. Thanks!

Awesome

My 5 year old loves this! Great learning tool other than apps that aren’t helpful for children now a days. This is a more educated fun way to teach kids while they are still using a device. I still teach while not on the device and she goes to school. But again, fun alternative for her when she wants to play

By

Absolute fraud

Learninggames does not allow you to purchase the full version on a parent’s iTunes account then install it on a child’s device. You have to either allow your child to make purchases and purchase *on* their device, or buy on your own device and let them play on your own device. Absolute fraud. Their website claims that apple doesn’t let you transfer in-app purchases (the only way to unlock the content) between devices, which is hilarious, because I’ve done that exact same thing for dozens of other educational apps.

Exploding sound?

I like the activity for spelling the words. I HATE the unnecessary exploding of the word. Or worse, it sounds like a gun. Why is that even needed - sound wise or as a visual. I get frustrated by apps for young kids who put have too much sensory overload in the name of engagement. It’s not engaging; it’s enabling. And I say this as an experienced educator of 20+ years who sees the effects on kids when they reach my middle school classroom. Please do away with that sound. Very jarring.

By

I don’t like this

I have only been able to practice one letter out of the alphabet with my daughter and now I’m being forced to write a review before I can continue and who knows if I’ll even be able to do more then one letter without purchasing something lol. Misleading for sure

By

Letter recognition

My daughter just turned 3 and had a great interest in learning. We have been doing home school and Learninggames is the such a great addition ! She already can recognize upper and lower case letters. And this far knows a few of the alphabet sounds.. I recommend this easy to use app!

By

Great Learning Game

This game has great repetitive activities so that your child can learn their letters. Only downside, thus far, is that you are asked to give a review prior to truly testing out the game. You only have a chance to experience the letter A. Wish you were able to test at least 2-3 letters before reviewing. Also having the option to have separate Uppercase and Lowercase activities would be nice

Please help us to get this app some other way

My son is 2 and “ WE “ both love Learninggames I searched for awhile trying to find the perfect learning app for him. I’m very upset because I just brought him a PBS tablet & couldn’t download Learninggames on it because you can only download on a iPhone or iPad. Too bad because I was gonna pay the $2.99 again to unlock the full app. I would have rated Learninggames a 5 star , but since we can’t download Learninggames on his PBS tablet I rated it a 2

By

Great

Been look for an app for my daughter.(3yrs) There are a few in app purchase not too expensive(2.99 for all letters) Better than paying monthly for abc mouse. The games are fun and repetitive . My daughter is actually excited. She doesn’t realize she’s learning. It’s all a game to her.

Forced review

Downloaded this game before we left on a trip. Turns out you get to learn one letter before you are forced to purchase Learninggames or write this review to continue playing. Would’ve been nice to know this ahead of time while I still had WiFi. So I haven’t really had a chance to experience the game. Now I finally have WiFi and our trip is about over so I hope it’s good.

Fun to play with your child

I down loaded to help my son with letters. Now it’s or fun time together. I love how excited he gets when I get home and wants to play the game on my phone. If you have a child just learning their alphabet this for me is a must have.

By

Kids app

I’m trying to get in contact with someone regarding Learninggames because I made a purchase to unlock everything and my daughter still can’t use all of the functions in Learninggames because it’s still asking for me to pay after I already made a $2.99 payment to unlock everything. What’s even more frustrating is trying to explain this to my daughter.

Hopefully someone will reach out to me after I post this and fix the problems.
