So guess what happens when they inevitably mess up your order? That’s right! Nothing! There’s nothing you can do other than call the restaurant.

Since they deliver through DoorDash anyway, just use that and save yourself the extra upcharge and actually have a way to get your money back.

The title says it all. I don’t think I’ve ever had a rewards app that won’t tell you your points/ when you are close to a reward/what your reward will be. Also they claim to send emails to confirm points but I’ve never received one since downloading TorchysTacos months ago after going to Torchy’s multiple times and scanning while ordering.

Just updated TorchysTacos and now when I go to order now then pick-up it automatically closes TorchysTacos . It’s now useless.

Super easy to order, but no where do they tell you that this is just a front end that links to DoorDash. We ordered at 6:40, were told our food would arrive by 7:18, then at 7:10 got an update that it would arrive at 7:40. I called at 8:00 to find out where our food was and the manager told me I needed to contact DoorDash for updates but no where in TorchysTacos or receipt do they tell you that. So basically you hope your food arrives and if it doesn’t you have zero information about the status or eta for your order.

Pretty app and easy to navigate but no way to pay. Scan card doesn’t work either. Back to the website to reenter everything again…

First the contact us has no way to contact at all, fix it. Second, a customer should be able to view the menu and prices without having to select order. Again, fix it.

So you want some tacos, so you get the torchys app, create an account, start your order, and go to checkout to find out you can’t even use any sort of payment, then go back to make sure you put your card in to find out the payments are gone. You literally cannot order with TorchysTacos. Garbage 🗑

Locations won’t find the next door Torchy’s half the time, so I couldn’t use TorchysTacos to order.

One hopes the codes work for the rewards program, but who knows.

TorchysTacos is ok. Does not accept Apple Pay. Had difficulty putting a card whose expiration date was in 2027. They seriously need to look at the payment system. Ordering wise it is okay. Wish they had some kind of labeling if there were orders for multiple people.

I used TorchysTacos and ordered at 6:35. It said it would be ready at 7:30, with no option to make it earlier. I show up at the (half empty) restaurant at 7:15, and the cashier tells the person in line ahead of me that the food they just ordered would be ready in “10-15 minutes”. She tells me “My order is still in the kitchen, and probably hasn’t been started since it’s scheduled for 7:30”. I asked if I’d called in, would it have been faster? They said in that case, the kitchen would get/start it as soon as they could, so probably 10-20 minutes after I called (a half hour sooner).

So… if you want to schedule getting your food for a particular time, an hour or more in advance, then fine, use TorchysTacos . If you want your food ASAP, then AVOID TorchysTacos!

Very frustrating, but a learning experience.

The reward system stinks, there’s no way to track progress or know how close you are to rewards. They say it’s because they want it to be a surprise but it seems sketchy. I’ll spend $20 and get a reward then order a catering order over $300 and visit multiple times after that before getting the next reward. They should look at Starbucks and Chick-fil-a’s rewards method and take some notes.

Maybe this isn’t TorchysTacos but is more the loyalty program or the store itself? TorchysTacos is almost impossible to open whenever I am in the restaurant…which leads to the second problem of not being able to scan the receipt to earn points. Finally, it’s annoying that I can never order food on TorchysTacos due to the kids taco not allowing me to add rice.

Would be nice you guys add like a point System or something that is similar to other restaurant apps. Just a thought.

I hoped this would be an improvement over website ordering, but you still can’t pay with a gift card!

TorchysTacos is great but it needs a way for users to communicate notes about an order. For example, I just orders a taco with a fried egg and I had to call the store to tell them to fry the egg well.

Other than that, no complaints!!

Thanks for adding an app, so much easier to order on than the website on a phone. Would like to have the ability to favorite locations and pay with gift cards. You can also make the menu selections a bit larger on the screen and put non-standard customizations on a sub-screen to make ordering even more simple.

I’m a huge Torchy’s fan and finally they have an app!! I’m not fond of ever ordering online thru my mobile browser so I end up ordering thru my desktop or just call the store. This first experience was super smooth and simple since I already had an account. Such a breeze to also modify ingredients, which I love because I’m THAT person who always tricks up their tacos!!

I order Torchy’s breakfast tacos to take to client- offices I visit in the morning. TorchysTacos is easy to use, and ordering 40-50 tacos never seems to bog-down the restaurant staff. Easier th trying to show up and order or deal with it the day before. The Torchy’s app makes ordering easy.

TorchysTacos has it all; I can order from nearby Torchy’s. Pickup or delivery & customize each taco to perfection! Incredible job by the Torchys team.

I couldn’t find the first side item I wanted. Obviously not ready for prime time.
