Treecard: Walking Step Tracker Reviews

I’ve been seeing negative reviews saying they never received their card. While it was a bit late I did eventually receive mine, so please be a little patient! This company is giving us a free wooden debit card and is willing to ship it to us for free as well (even overseas), so it can be understandable for a bit of a wait. It came in recyclable packaging and the wood is just so unique of an idea. Treecard is very user friendly and I have no issues adding funds then spending money physically or online! The money processes faster than my original debit card and doesn’t charge me any fees. I love how it keeps track of how many trees I’ve planted and it’s been a great card at budgeting for how much I can spend on myself, plus the bonus of feeling good about planting more trees!

It was a wait (we signed up last year!), but worth it!! I received my this app and used it for the first time today, via ApplePay. Really happy with the experience. Customer service was very responsive and courteous when I emailed a while back to ask about if there were any updates about the timeline as to when the cards would start shipping. The card itself is very nice, by the way. Definitely unique! It’s nice to support tree planting projects while doing things I already need to do anyway, like grocery shopping. 😊

I opened an account and moved money from my bank as soon as I got my card they closed the account and stated I wouldn’t be able to have a this app account. Okay but my money is in the account and they stated work with your bank to get the funds. Okay but you removed all the banking information from the account so I have no way of moving the funds and that’s it. Now since I have a new number there is no way to even access the account because it will only verify by number. Definitely the worse experience I have had and again no way to transfer or access the account right now. Horrible

PayPal will not accept this bank account they claim that for security purposes they will not work with this bank. After having my account for a week I get an email in the morning from an agent named Clay. He tells me “ After careful consideration, we regret to inform you
that we will not be able to move forward with your
this app account. If you currently have a balance in
this app, we recommend working with your bank to
retrieve those funds.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause
and thank you for your interest in this app.”

On Treecard there’s no way to transfer funds and my money is now stuck in limbo. I received this email at 9 am and ever since I’ve been doing my best to contact someone to no avail. This is a disaster and hands down the worst service I’ve had with any bank ever. I have to dispute this now with my regular checking account.

It takes about a week for the money to arrive to use on the card, so need to plan in advance. Also Treecard is a bit buggy.

I am going to be planting hundreds of trees a year because of the this app. It’s super easy to use (and free!). If we get all of our friends to start using this, we could be planting billions of trees a year! And I love that they spend 80% if their profits planting trees. They are one of the few organizations that actually want to help save our Earth🌎🌲

I can’t wait to use my this app! I’ve been using Ecosia for forever and when I found out they were creating this, I immediately signed up! It’s a great way to support the environment while doing simple things like shopping online. Everyone should sign up for one!

Love the layout of Treecard , what this app stands for I mean you couldn’t ask for anything else ! One suggestion is that it would be nice to transfer money from my primary checking to this app In an instant feature like let’s says cashapp but other than that it’s great !!!

Treecard does have some bugs though. For example, all the buttons fly to the top of the screen during the login and sign up phases. I’m not sure why but it also isn’t sending the upgrade email.

I think this is a cool idea to plant trees with everyday purchases but you cannot transfer funds outside of the card meaning any money put on the card is stuck there. I contacted support and they confirmed that this is the case. The other issue is Treecard keeps logging me out every few days, so every other day you have to log back into Treecard and set up Face ID.

I wish they will make credit card... this was more ppl will want to join, but also business can be on it also.

SoHear me out if this card is made of wood then don’t they have to cut down trees to make the debit card but by using the debit card you plant trees but the trees that were cut down to make the debit card Are basically just being replaced

Tho I haven’t used the card yet, I’m just glad we have options in life like this Tht can help, not hurt the environment!

I did my card wait list on sweatcoin months ago and still nothing?? When should I be able to expect anything? I know I was #3,025 in the que!!

So when do we get the card it doesn’t say anything about getting the card

Bank won’t connect to the card sadly.

I had this account open for about 2 weeks before they emailed me and told me their were closing my account, with no reason given, and no plan to get my funds out. Be warned if you bank with them, they are definitely in breach of several FDIC regulations.

Just looking for some sort of update on how progress is going. Has anyone received their card yet? I see the website has been updated and it looks like there is an actual banking app being shown there, but does anyone even have access to Treecard yet?

My place in the waiting list has not budged. So I really don’t know what’s going on. Do you all still plan to release the this app app and cards?

Got my this app delivered to me today. It works great, Treecard works well, and the card itself is awesome; never seen or felt anything like it.

But I’m a little worried about the bio diversity of native trees in the areas they are planted. Growing multiple kinds is good for the ecosystem and helps everyone.

I hate the waiting. Said launching in summer couple weeks away from fall…

It’s been almost a year since I signed up and 138,00 people are still ahead of me why is this taking so long 🤦🏻‍♂️
