Great app

I have used CorrectPay quite a few times to send money and messages. It is easy for me to figure out where to go and what to do.
I had an incident where I thought CorrectPay wasn’t working properly because it would not let me do something, when I called to complain , I found out it had nothing to do with CorrectPay , the Jail had turned off some features due to a security issue in the jail.

I can’t make a Deposit

I’ll loves need food and other things they want to order will be great if they can get up and running again or send a link to use actually a lady called and sent me a link but I couldn’t get in to make a deposit 🤷🏽‍♀️

Worked okay till update

I haven’t had too many issues with CorrectPay until the most recent update. I’ve tried twice to do a video visitation and both times it shows loading for me and never loads. For the inmate, it shows waiting on guest to arrive. I’m scared to try again since it’s already cost over $15 for no visits. Please fix this. Also fix it to where photos can be added when a message is sent.

AWFUL

CorrectPay stinks. It deserves a -100 rating. It has ZERO intuitive functionality. You have to jump through hoops to find a way to fund your account. There's way to read what messages you've sent previously. When you have an incarcerated loved one, this might be the only way to communicate, and especially when there are legal documents to share with them. But unfortunately there is no motivation on the part of the devs to improve it because you have no other options but to use their app.

Did NOT ADD FUNDS

I manually added funds to an account through “Correct Pay” and I even have the receipt from my bank statement and it was never put on the inmates phone time. He called me right after I completed the purchase and it was saying there was not enough funds. He also tried to call back 6 other times and it said the same exact thing. I’m not sure where my $25 went but I’d like a refund since it was not added.

App Crashing

For the last 3 days I’ve been trying to use CorrectPay to send a message and set up a visit but CorrectPay either crashes or you just get a white screen where nothing will load. Please fix the bugs.

App doesn’t even open

Can’t even use CorrectPay . When you press commissary deposit or send message both pop up to next page and are blank. I’ve tried to delete CorrectPay & reinstalled it several times and still blank. Luckily I’m close to we’re my son is at and I can go use the kiosk to make sure he has money but for people who’s loved ones are far away and can’t do that I know that its upsetting.

Fix the issues

CorrectPay used to work but now it won’t let me send a message at all and I can’t call my fiancé often cuz it’s expensive. Please fix the issues with CorrectPay, there are others who have love ones in jail and can’t afford to pay for calls every day.

Photo attachments

So users can no longer add attachments to a message. Now I have to pay DOUBLE to send a message with a picture. What a sneaky way to double you revenues at our expense. You’re worse crooks than those serve in jail. Taking advantage of those down on their luck. You should be ashamed.

Trouble putting funds for messages

Well I just downloaded both the vend engine and the correct pay apps but I am still having problems putting funds on the account so I can get messages back or to at least know they have received my messages. It just doesn’t give me the option like it did when I just go online to do it.

Overall Correct Pay app

This is absolutely the worst app through which I have ever tried to navigate…ugh!!!
Trying to set up payments with CC, kept telling me that all fields must be completed…..after more than 10 tries, even changed card, all were valid CCs....
Tried for video visit….cut off over and over again and was on WiFi setting……it’s absolutely crazy!!!

For real?

Video is the only way to visit and this hasn’t worked. Customer service - not very helpful either. I sent an entire screen recording showing what it does - to no avail. Says an update a week ago fixed video visit issue - definitely did not.

It’s already an overpriced monopoly and then to take money and not receive the service. Please explain..

Just awful!

CorrectPay is by far the worst app I have used this far! Just trying to send a simple message and CorrectPay closes out. You go to even tap anything and CorrectPay closes out. This is awful for people who have loved ones that they want to visit with or message. I would 0/10 not recommend CorrectPay. Very very disappointing!

I WANT A REFUND!!

I’ve had several video visitation calls and the last three were a complete joke. A pop up asking if Im from Louisiana completely covered my family members face and clicking on both yes and no directed me to download CorrectPay that I already have and on top of that CorrectPay kept buffering and I couldn’t join for most of the scheduled time.

I’ve had a lot of problems with CorrectPay it’s not allowing me to do anything

They got rid of JPAY for this, they want your drivers license number, cell phone and a photo of your license to send friends and family incarcerated money….. do you actually think we’re going to do this, so the FBI or any law enforcement can piggyback off CorrectPay, you’ll have the wrong person for this…. Please read before you download CorrectPay!!!!

Doesn’t help

I don’t like it for one it doesn’t explain nothing in the help section and it also doesn’t explain what the inmate can do in the commissary part basically it’s isn’t helpful at all you still have to call the prison to get help don’t like CorrectPay at all

CorrectPay is terrible. Can’t find anyone and the “app” is simply a browser container. You have to login every single time and it’s impossible to navigate. Zero stars.

CorrectPay is okay but since the recent update when ever my dad video calls me I can see an hear him but he can’t hear me, he can only see me.
