Tech and interface is dated. There is no ability to send notifications if the door opens, which makes using Marantec technology not a good choice for monitoring a remote location.

App lacks basic features like notifications and the BlueFi stick failed after 3 days of use. Marantec, in general, seems to not be compatible with 3rd party devices unlike the other garage door opener I have. That other opener has a much better App with better features.

The blue stick constantly is removed from my application and I’m always having to reset it. It is very cumbersome and not a good product at all. Unfortunately, I’m stuck with it.

maveoapp isn’t even functional. It freezes and doesn’t allow you to complete registration, the web forms aren’t user friendly. I bought this add on for my family to be able to access the garage on their phones, but it’s a waste of time and money until maveoapp gets updated. The company needs to have more integrity and regularly update maveoapp if they are going to try and upsell people on it.

I installed maveoapp and after not using it for a while, maveoapp was not functional. I have to delete and reinstall. My wife has the same App. After not using it for a while, maveoapp totally disappears from her iPhone. Getting the BlueFi to connect to the iPhone is a very difficult job. Also, every time I use it, maveoapp will say it needs to reconnect to the Maveo Cloud. Extremely annoying. Disappointing experience.

maveoapp is poorly designed and drops the products. You have to reset the products you have in maveoapp often. Very frustrating to use and disappointing. Easier to use a remote.

Installed it, paired it up fine, sent an open command and now it's looping on the open command it successfully sent and I can't close the garage door on maveoapp anymore. I cannot send any other commands after my first one since it thinks the door is still opening. Not great.

Why is there no notification options on maveoapp? The website provides directions on how to turn on notifications, but it’s not available in IOS? Please update this. This is the reason I bought this product in the first place. Constant connectivity issues. Doesn’t work well. Have to remove maveoapp and reinstall often

I was excited to get my bluefi stick & add it to my Marantec opener. Downloaded maveoapp & eventually was able to add the stick to maveoapp . That was the one single time I could get maveoapp to do anything at all. Every time after that, maveoapp would launch, connect to the Maveo cloud, then spin forever & ever trying to connect to the bluefi stick. No matter how long I waited or how often I tried, it never once connected. I was never able to open or close the door even a single time. I can’t even remove it to try to re-add it because it tries to connect to the bluefi stick to do so. Right now I feel like I absolutely wasted $50.

I made a Maveo account. Then unplugged the opener for 30 seconds. Then plugged in the bluefi stick, and plugged the opener in again. Set up went okay (pressed yellow button and followed app instructions). No problem connecting to Bluetooth and later WiFi.

maveoapp correctly shows if the door is open or closed. However, it will NOT open or close the door. If i press close in maveoapp , it will beep, but the door doesn’t move. The wall switch works. The remote control transmitters work. This WiFi stick is the only item that won’t open and close the door.

There are a few basic features that maveoapp needs desperately. To the point where I’d consider replacing my garage door opener even though it’s brand new.

1. Open/close notification on phone
2. Ability to set a specific time to close the door(if it’s open)

Developers need to figure these things out ASAP.

maveoapp needs a notification to tell when the garage door is opened. Now it is missing that.

maveoapp does not provide notifications when your garage door is being opened or closed. You have to physically launch maveoapp in order to see the status. It would be great to see maveoapp get re-worked to allow the ability for notifications.

Biggest complaint is App will update or at random will loose devices. Then I have to add back in to app and reprogram for each garage door opener. A real pain when you need to let someone in to access garage and all of a a sudden an opener that has been on app for months is suddenly no longer in existence on app. App is great when working or not randomly removing device.

maveoapp works fine most of the time.
However, I don’t understand why there is no support for Shortcuts in iOS. Either that or Siri support sounds like a reasonable request for a connected home device.

This morning when I was ready to leave the house I was surprised to see my garage door opened. I noticed that there was a notification on my phone screen asking if I want to open the garage door? I had ignored the message, then behold, the door must’ve opened up. I noticed that happening when I open up maveoapp . Without clicking on open, the door will open up. Not a good idea.

The title says it all. Works fine, no Apple Watch support, not as intuitive as NEXX.

I love the “Geo Fencing” feature! I can quickly open my door when I enter my subdivision with one touch of the screen! Easy to set up maveoapp , it only took 12 minutes once I set up my account.

I’m not big on technology but I’ve loved the Marantec brand through the years. Bought the stick on line and I had it running on my phone in 5-6 minutes. It took me longer to figure out my internet password than it did for the install. Sent my kids an access key so they can use the same system. Pretty slick.

I have had the maveo WiFi device on my home for about a year now. It has really come a long way since the beginning. It opens and loads quickly. It works as advertised. I enjoy the visual layout of the screen, as well as the functionality. I activated the geofence feature and it is really neat.
I have several friends and acquaintances whom I’ve helped set it up in their own homes. It’s quick and easy. Definitely a worthwhile app!
