NurseIO never alerts me for shifts and when it does it disappears within minutes. Not worth it if you’re looking for serious consistent shifts as a LPN. Also good luck receiving your payments at the end of your shift now. Branch will NOT verify your account or debit card due to a “glitch” I’ve made the company aware of yet I still have to suffer and get paid through them. Definitely will be looking for another agency. Too many issues all around

NurseIO pays you lower than the facilities if you were hired on. With the cost of living insurance that you must have being independent, you end up making less than the being hired on. They take out breaks automatically even if you’re not able to due to lack of staff in the facility and disputing it means you have to wait to be paid once the facility confirms. Recent change is spite paying small amounts for the facilities they are taking $4.98 out from what you’re paid out and end of each shift.

I have never seen a temp service or app that will allow a facility to book temps and then cancel on them within four hours of the shift, three hours of the shift, two hours of the shift. There is absolutely absolutely no compensation if you are last-minute canceled. There is no respect for the fact that you held your day open, there’s no respect for the fact that you might’ve needed some money. They will allow you to pick up shift after shift after shift for facilities that are using you for “just in case”. Since starting with this service, I have been sent home after two hours, sent home after four hours. And that’s on 12 hour shifts. And then I’ve had five cancellations. I’ve picked up seven shifts and I still have not worked one single full shift. They will lose professionals if they carry on like this. Nobody likes their time wasted, it’s ridiculous to allow us to pick something up and then cancel us within hours of it without compensating us at all.

I was very excited to try out NurseIO to compare it to other similar agency apps however, I have not been able to start. I have been unable to even finish onboarding because of NurseIO ’s continuous asking of me to download their paying app (Branch), which I have already done. To make matters worse, I tried reaching out to their team and have been in contact with people just for them to ignore me. I’m on my third time today trying to contact them in one month and the person I’m in contact with isn’t very helpful. I guess I’ll never get to try this one out!

NurseIO is great although when clocking out and adding hours it glitches and gets stuck when adding the managers name and pin. Also the support agents here in Arizona are awfully rude and they get annoyed when you have to call them about an incident or the place of assignment not knowing the pin to submit hours. I’ve had other occurrences with rude employees over the phone even asking simple questions about how to use NurseIO . I’d say follow up with the Arizona employees to get a stop to this.

NurseIO/company used to be great until changes about 3 months ago. Since then- just as others say: you DONT get paid at end of shift. You have to wait hours- days to get paid. NurseIO clock in system glitches. You have to wait for admin to “confirm” your time submitted , as if we are lying. The customer service in AZ are in fact, rude. They gaslight, telling us “you’re the only one having an issue with NurseIO ” yet, we all are. They send messages “due to the high volume of calls we won’t be taking anymore”. They stopped answering calls a few months back. There’s no support service. They answer a text after the main person emails a response. The hardest part of my work day shouldn’t be “suffering” to get paid for the hours already worked. Oh - and the hours- usually end up being 4-6 hours instead of 12hours. I wonder if the CEO is aware of how crappy NurseIO has become and losing not on only healthcare staff but healthcare facilities as their tired of reiterating the same info- simple things like “no the nurse didn’t have to have a break. She worked 4 hours”…. Yep. Good luck

I can even finish the first part of NurseIO because it continues to have me return documents over and over! And i keep putting time aside to do so! It’s like a glitch or something! Idk but i want to use it it’s just acting up for me

NurseIO would have higher ratings but I give them a 3. NurseIO is good to use as an extra source of income but not make as a main source of income. After working a shift, contractors are paid at the end of their shift or by the next day. The cons to NurseIO are more than the pros. Cons: they charge an app fee and it is removed from your payment/earnings after you’ve completed a shift, they want you to sign-in on a timesheet and clock-in on NurseIO but if you forget to sign in on the timesheet that is still not enough proof that you clocked in even when you clock-in through the this app app, also there are very few nursing facilities and if there are any, the compensation is not worth the travel because most are located over 80 miles, there are lots of shifts for mental health facilities but 7 times out of 10 most this app clients/workers will be sent home due to the mental health facilities being over staffed or just not needing this app workers that day. The facility won’t let you know until you make the trip to the facility or your shift is canceled in NurseIO at 4 am in the morning. For those of us that use Lyft as a form of transportation it is a waste of money and time. The pay is also lower than other nursing apps. So overall, I give them a 3.

One thing I would change is when you are offering shifts, put the date AND the day, so we don’t have to flip back and forth from a calendar. And maybe a text to let you know you got paid for a shift.

App automatically closes when trying to submit hours. So a hour and a half later i finally got it to work on the internet app instead of the nirseio app and it let me submit my hours.

If I had known about NurseIO years ago I would have benefited greatly from the opportunities it provides. NurseIO motivates us nurses to get out there and serve the public, and be rightly rewarded for our time.

NurseIO could be better. It sometimes gives me trouble logging in and then I have to login from the website which is a pain sometimes because I love convenience of using an app bout other than that it’s great. User friendly, easy to navigate and accept shifts.

NurseIO is easy to sign into and user friendly. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because it can be glitchy from time to time and I have to restart my IPhone in order to use it. this app is always works quickly to resolve any issues you may have using NurseIO .

One thing I love about this app is that a lot of these facilities offer 12hr shifts and you can easily pick up on NurseIO . They have plenty of facilities to chose from which is even better!

The staff at this app are very helpful and fast to respond when send email. They are on top of scheduling and verify shifts after you pick up with both you and the facility!

So many open shift, the pay is amazing. My Recuriter always respond on time and very helpful with finding more facilities near when other facilities are booked

The this app app is very organized and easy to use. I love that it has so many options to filter shifts so you can Tailor your search to fit your exact needs!

The this app app is very easy to work and pick up shifts. Unfortunately they don’t have anything in my area so I have yet to pick up a shift with them 😕

This company has been very good to me! Not only that, but I am able to create my own schedule, and still get my full time hours. There are so many amazing facilities to choose from. It fits right into my schedule since I am a foster mom and a student, you know how that goes.
I am truly grateful for this company. Thank you guys.

this app is a great company to work with. With many shifts to choose from, they help keep a variety of options. Same day pay is a good benefit as well.
