LemFi has the best rates compared to others, but unfortunately it’s the worst app ever. The verification process is a hot mess and the customer reps can’t even help resolve your issue. I have had the “pending” sign for close to 3 months and it’s so sad that no one can help reset my page and clear that up so I can start over. They keep saying it’s resolved, but whenever I go back it says the same thing. I feel so bad cause they are losing customers beyond their incompetence in resolving customer issues. I hope they can be serious for once and be able to fix the issues on LemFi and get it going because it’s a good app that is poorly designed with a bunch of folks who don’t know what to do.

Very bad customer service no one will even answer your call and they will hang up on you and nobody replies emails and sending money takes forever for it to be delivered a major house cleaning is needed if not no one should even recommend LemFi to anyone because you will be ashamed if you do recommend them to someone and it’s not free for USA customers to send money you get charged for international transactions fee

I setup the account and completed the ID verification. It’s been well over a week and verification is still showing in review. But I kept getting repetitive email to confirm last 4 of SSN, even though it was already confirmed. I’ve contacted their WhatsApp chat. It’s automated. No live person. I’ve sent email. Received an automated email response with a ticket number. Days later and still no one has replied me yet. My friend downloaded LemFi and was standing next to me as we completed the same steps, at the same time. They were verified in secs and have been able to upload account info to do a test send of $20USD to NGN with no issues. I will just say, take this as a warning, because it can be hit or miss.

I’ve had an issue with loading money to my account. I sent an email and it’s taking forever to rectify this problem for over 2 weeks. Started from mid June and it’s 2nd week in August.
My only crime is that I wanted to use LemFi to send money. Email responses are slow. They made me share my banking information with my card number and no one has even called to help me address this issue.
I don’t believe that’s a professional service. I’m very disappointed and was expecting the best from them since this shouldn’t be an issue that can’t be resolved. No one has hacked my account. Do better.

This is app is absolute trash! The first debit card I added to my account with no problem. Unfortunately, all of a sudden I wasn’t able to fund my account anymore and kept getting so many errors. I ended up deleting the first debit card off of my account and then tried to add another one. I can’t even add the second one because LemFi says that my card is declined (there’s definitely money in there). I keep telling them that they need to either add my middle name to my profile, or update my address. I’m frustrated at this point. They keep submitting tickets for me and no one is getting back to me with useful/helpful information.

WARNING!!! Do not use this app, they will frustrate you to death. I downloaded LemFi and sent money severally and my account was disabled all of a sudden without any reason. I kept calling this app customer support and a ticket was opened. After more than 20 calls and over 6 weeks of no solution to reopen my account, all that the customer service representative will tell me is that we have escalated your issue, I requested for my balance of $185. As I am writing this review, I haven’t still received my balance. I received an email from Obi asking for my bank statement which I sent and two weeks later I received the same type of email from another representative asking for the same information.
There are better and more reliable apps to use in sending money to Africa. Stay away from LemF

this app is ripping and scamming me of my $756 first time using your app, your app asked to deposit in my wallet, I transferred from my account and was deducted and from 7th December till today any customer service representative I spoke with will tell me it’s been escalated the last supervisor I spoke with lied to me I was going to receive a refund within 24hrs and now no one is answering my calls.
I will not recommend LemFi to no one .

LemFi could have been the best money transfer ever in the history but their technical department is something else. First of all, a lot of people are complaining about getting their identity to be verified and all of a sudden they just decided to disabled your account and when you call them they won’t do anything to get it fixed, they still repeating the same thing all day long by sending unnecessary email without getting it fix what you need them to do right away.

LemFi/service is the worst I’ve ever used to send money. The inconvenience you guys cause is so disgusting. The first time I downloaded LemFi I had to go through the verification like every other app okay cool then that took more than a week to get verified. The second time, there was another debit card verification which also took days and LemFi is very stupid because you have to put money into LemFi to be able to send the money, what type of rubbish is that?? And the customer support “disgusting” and takes forever to help with an issue. Please just delete my account because I’m never using you guys anymore. Such a waste of time and effort.

Whiles their rates are good, it’s so cumbersome and unreliable.
First off, you have to upload funds from your bank to be able to transfer. There is no way of knowing what your available allowance is!! So several times I’ve had to wait weeks with my money still sitting in the wallet… until the next allowance! Terrible way to do business

I don’t know what is worse with LemFi—getting your Visa card linked or not getting response from the customer service, or trying to call the customer service number!
I’ve been trying to link my card for over a week now. I’ve deleted and reinstalled LemFi , tried every method known to man but nothing has worked.

This people behind LemFi lack credibility. They mentioned we get a 30 dollars referral bonus and upon downloading LemFi and sending money, they didn’t pay me my referral bonus and after reaching out to them via phone and email, they went radio silent for over 2 weeks.

I would not recommend LemFi at all. Credibility is definitely not one of their core value.

I’ve makes the fifth contact to this app trying to resolve an issue which is related to updating my debit card so I can make transfer. I’ve made a total of two phone calls and sent three emails. There’s been no contact or acknowledgment from the team, none!
The last call I made, I was literally placed on wait, no form of communication after I narrated my ordeal and the agent from somewhere perhaps India was busy talking to someone else on the background in a vernacular language .
this app is useless. I’m now begging them to close my account but there’s been no response.

It’s been over two weeks and they can’t find a solution to it. My card that I have stored and used for several transactions suddenly went into reviewing status as if I were a new customer signing up for the account. I have called customer service over 10times; they are clueless……all they keep saying was that they would create a ticket and forward it to the appropriate department!!!!

For a while sendwave was my go to if I needed to send funds anywhere to Africa & it never failed me. My husband discovered lemonade finance and we decided to try them as well. Everything was good until it wasn’t. 3 times, I’ve had to wait for about 4days for my transactions to go through which doesn’t help because we are mainly sending money to fund a project. No money no work! What’s worse it currently LemFi isn’t even working and I haven’t been able to log in for an entire week. Please refund the money and work on your app. What crappy service

Whilst the rates are good, the customer service is very poor. If you should have any challenges with your transfer, there is no way to reach them. I have called the number they provided on LemFi several times over the course of the past weeks and no answer. I just tried again because I have a transaction that has been pending for over 12 hours. No one is reaching to let me know if there is an issue or not. I created a ticket and I hope to God I get a feedback. I am definitely closing my lemonade account once my current transaction is complete. This customer service is making working with then so frustrating

I have had a very bad experience using LemFi. First it took over one week before I could fully register my account, this is after I have sent them countless e-mails. After that, I sent money me through them, after one day they sent an email saying they are having difficulty with one of their partners. Don’t be deceive by their higher exchange rate. This is a very bad app. Their competitors like wave and tap tap send provides instead delivery. I would rather use this two apps than LemFi.

There is a hidden charge that will not reflect when you make a transfer from your debit card to your lemonade wallet, your bank will charge you 3% as an international fee, this appears days after the transfer on your bank charges, Lemonade finance appears on my bank statement as restaurant, it’s not recognize in the US as a financial institution, they are known as Restaurants. Don’t be deceived by their rate you will pay more than what you transfer bcos of the hidden charge. It looks scam to me. Though your transfer will go through successfully but one day you might lose your money, they look suspicious , be careful don’t fall for it.

I guess something is not right about LemFi, or the management itself , it seem they are out genuine enough, I sign up with LemFi to make transfer and suddenly my account start having issue few mins after making a deposit into my account , since then I can’t access the account even with my money inside the account , for almost 2 weeks now . I’ve made several effort to reach support but it’s seem they don’t care how their customer feels or they are another Scam organization that people need to beware Of.

This this app app was just opened to the U.S. I tried to verify my account, they took one day. Tried to verify my debit card and it has been days since. I am supposed to be making an urgent transaction but i have been waiting for days now smh. I would never recommend them. Their customer service would not let you speak either. They are plain rude and they say we will put you in priority to fix it yet you find yourself waiting. I am highly disappointed and i will not use LemFi again.

I’ve no idea how these people operate. It appears they originate from Nigeria, the birth place of online scam. They offer attractive rates but why do you have to load money onto their platform then transfer it? What if you’re unable to transfer it afterwards and you can’t retrieve? None of the transfer apps do that and Lemonade Finance doesn’t accept Credit Cards, another RED light. You might wanna try Ria or MoneyGram who are more visible than these hidden people who don’t reply emails and they even have a Telegram page. What better place to do scam other than Telegram? RED RED LIGHT!!!

This is my first time sending $ through your app as trial and I am highly disappointed. You need to disclose at the first page that you charge fees not after I have deposited my money then you disclose your fees. That is fraudulent. That is not transparent at all. I will not use your app again. You advertise $1-N1,285 and you gave me N1,257… a joke . I expected my whole amount that you advertised! why should I use your app again when other apps give you what they advertise for the customers? This is not right. You have my account please deposit all my money.

LemFi is a dissatisfying experience because you can only add four debit cards and they won’t let you add again and even if your cards got stolen and you need to replace them it’s impossible and the customer service teams are not helpful or reliable I just think they need to work on that and that’s one of the reasons the tap tap app is better than them I’m just so happy that we’ve gotten another app call TAP TAP y’all try them out they have a good rate too

I always get error messages trying to find my account . It will be helpful for there to be an address book section within LemFi . Still prefer WorldRemit

Don’t use them when you want to send money asap… they take too long to fix a bug or problems. The delays are long and not reliable. You send money to your wallet you can’t send back to account if there’s an issue. I won’t advise to use them when you have to send money urgently. I don’t appreciate their service.

Please add the NIN slip feature so verification would be easier for Nigerians

Your process of waiting to transfer money from my account to yours, then wait for it to process & authorize before starting the transfer process prolongs the entire transfer process. Sorry, the other company takes one to two minutes for the entire transfer process & if you can’t bit that, you lose customers.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced, having issues with verifying my account but each time I reach out to them, they will send a long email saying they have fixed it, I can now verify only to go to LemFi and discover that nothing has been done, this is like the 5th time and nobody seems to know what the problem is, they lack technical team.

There is no option for those from Nigeria to register on LemFi , the signup can only accommodate phone numbers from Canada and UK.
Kindly rectify this so that we from Nigeria can be able to register on LemFi .

Lemonade Finance has really changed the way I send money home every weekend. It’s very simple to use and has a very intuitive UI. I don’t need to fund a wallet or even save my card. I just fund my transfer with my card. And the best is that my family back home gets the funds in minutes. Keep up the good work Lemonade Finance!

I have been using LemFi to send money to support my poor siblings in Nigeria. Their rate is incomparable and their services top notch. I recommend it for anyone who send money frequently to love ones. Thank you this app for keeping close the ones who matters most in my life.

I don't know where these negative feedbacks are coming from but to be honest LemFi has been wonderful so far. I really have nothing to complain about. But for those that has one difficulty or another ; you should uninstall and re-install LemFi again.

Their customer support is topnotch. One of their agents IFE stayed with me on the call from when I uploaded my iD and selfie to when I was verified. At some point sha I was getting frustrated but she was so calm about the whole thing. She even guided me on how to fund my NGN wallet and then send money on LemFi . This product is truly awesome! Thanks Lemonade Finance. You are truly a lifesaver

This is the most reliable money transfer app i have ever seen. Initially i was scared of using LemFi but after passing through their verification process, i was very satisfied with LemFi and would always recommend to friends.

this app works well, very well. The customer service responds quickly when it concerns transaction failure. However, downloading LemFi is a pain. I have referred 6 people. Not one has successfully downloaded LemFi . They just abandon it after a while. It was extremely frustrating at the point I went painfully through the process myself. If something can be done about this, Lemfie will be near perfect.

Knowing LemFi is the best thing that happened to me when it comes to sending money to my family . It is very easy and convenient

I have been using LemFi for quite some time now and it has never given me any issues sending money to Africa. Great service. I recommend everyone to use LemFi .
Their customer service support is 100% .

1. The support team never answers call.
2. No option to cash out the balance in once wallet into the linked debit card account.
3. Daily, weekly, and monthly limits are so low.

How is it okay that one is not allowed to get their money back if there is a limit and you cannot make conversions…even when one is in urgent need of the money.

Called customer support, they keep you on hold like forever and never pickup. A very bad app as it a give bad image of their credibility.

I am still debited for international transaction fee from the USA when I got an email that said that they will no longer deduct money because they have opened an office in the US.

On 15Th January 2025 I transfer £500 to my Indian Bank account and the transaction showed SUCESSFUL Today 18th of January 2025 my money is not credited in to my bank account. Everyday I call them then they says the same answer WE ESCALATED YOUR ISSUE but no answer where is my money gone? if anyone reading this please dont use this app I seriously doubt that its a scam or fraud... I dont know wjhen I will get my money back or not. STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP AND KEEP YOUR MONEY SAFE
