Does not work

I downloaded RaisingCanesChickenFingers and proceeded to create an account. I got a error message stating my account could not be created, and then two seconds later I got an email thanking me for creating an account. I tired to log in to no avail so I decided to reset the password, I was then able to log in but that was the last successful action while using RaisingCanesChickenFingers . I started an order which took forever! I was able to place my meal in the shopping bag, but when attempting to checkout it kept crashing. I was able to get as far as the page that ask you about your vehicle. It never let me add my vehicle. I tried to close and reopen RaisingCanesChickenFingers but then I was again asked tp log in. I was never able to log in, after I entered email and password and click log in nothing would happen it would just stay on that screen. I closed and opened again and was able to see an item still in my bag so I clicked on that and was again thrown into the cycle of trying to enter my vehicle info. I decided I would try one more time - I closed and re-opened only to again get the log in page that never did anything once I entered my info. I guess I’ll use the chicken joint app that works every time and get my lunch there - it will be their pleasure!

Never able to log in

Being super excited to download RaisingCanesChickenFingers I did. I created an account and tried to log in and it said the email and password provided didn’t match. I tried several times knowing my password was correct and it gave the same message. I waited assuming RaisingCanesChickenFingers was down. After several hours I got the same error so I selected “forgot password”. When prompted, I used the old password and was given an errors message saying I could not use a previous password. I changed the password and tried to log in only to have the same exact issue. When this happened again, I tried to log in online and had the same issue. I uninstalled RaisingCanesChickenFingers and reinstalled. I changed my password a third and a fourth time only to keep getting the same error message that my email address and password are not a match. There is no place on the website or in RaisingCanesChickenFingers to go to customer service for assistance and the email sent to change your password is a DO NOT REPLY email address. I am so frustrated at this point after uninstalling and reinstalling twice, changing my password five times over a period of three days I have decided it is just not worth not.

Can’t complete order

I don’t see how RaisingCanesChickenFingers has such high ratings. I can’t complete the billing process. Credit card info already saved from a previous order, Apple Pay, or PayPal doesn’t work either. Will get a different error message but after the disco ball, it doesn’t even just show the error. You need to scroll to the very top. Next the error says they have high volume and the next available window is 3:30pm. It is 2:30pm but I picked 6pm for pickup. Changed to 3:30 pickup, first says, you can’t edit that. Start the process over, pick 3:30…same error message. Not available. Closest time is 3:30 even though I picked 3:30. I am doing this at a new location so the demand is high but RaisingCanesChickenFingers ordering is very bad. Selecting food and things is fine…just the completion process fails. I am fine even if they just say they are too busy for an online order. But this is an app issue…not a busy store issue. And the error message should be right there with actual corrective steps, I should not have to hunt for the error by scrolling. In addition, I can tell the error message is actually just an unhandled case not the actual error event.

Terrible 1st Impression

I got excited when I saw the positive reviews on RaisingCanesChickenFingers & decided to cut down my wait time. Or at least, I had hoped. Unfortunately, I had to wait almost an hour for my food. I got to my mobile pickup order spot, tapped on “I Arrived.” & waited patiently. When I noticed that a good amount of cars were getting their food before me, I had to go inside after waiting so long.

I got in, asked the lady at the register (who was not in a good mood) where my order was at. She said that the order was on the counter because they didn’t see my car. Mind you, RaisingCanesChickenFingers greyed out the option for carry-out at the location I went to so it was only drive-in or curbside mobile orders. My chicken, fries, & toast were all cold & drenching from being on the counter for so long.

On top of that, I checked my order in the car & it wasn’t even right! Maybe I just had a bad first experience with RaisingCanesChickenFingers , but this set a terrible impression & I will most likely not being using it again. Especially if other food competitors have perks, there’s no incentive to order from RaisingCanesChickenFingers .

Opportunities

Update to the below review - I no longer need to login, nor do I need to complete the captcha. I also noticed Apple Pay is now available, but up to this point RaisingCanesChickenFingers did save my payment information for speedy purchases. Thanks for addressing the items below quickly!

Login process is extremely laborious. Captcha takes over twenty seconds to complete. RaisingCanesChickenFingers should keep the user logged in and should allow for credentials to be saved so users can login with Face ID. Should also enable Apple Pay to make checkout more streamlined.

Confusing user experience

I pick a pickup time an hour in the future, I put in my credit card number, I click pay, it processes for like a minute with that dumb disco ball, but then nothing happens. It just takes me back to the screen where I just clicked pay. Did it work? Do I need to click pay again? Did I get charged? Where is the confirmation screen?
Then I scroll back up and see a hidden error message and it’s like “where experiencing a high order volume and cannot immediately start your order”. What does that mean? Are you going to start it later and then tell me to pickup later? Did I get charged? I’m so confused. The error message should be a pop up (not hidden) and it should say “error, we cannot fulfill the time you have selected. You have not been charged and your order has not been received. Please pick a new time and resubmit your order and payment.” See how that’s much less confusing? Also, why even list the time as an option if RaisingCanesChickenFingers is just going to say that time is not available.

Review for online ordering

This is a review for ordering online. You cannot press “X” as it does nothing, and if you mess up you cant change it unless you start the entire order over. The buggiest app and website ive ever seen from a restaurant. Please hire actual developers to make this work because only half the buttons actually do anything, and because of this I had to start over multiple times. Also, there is no “Check out as guest” option like every other food ordering platform on the planet. You have to sit there and make an account. Once I saw this, I just closed RaisingCanesChickenFingers and went somewhere else to eat. Too much jumping through hoops for a couple chicken fingers.

PS do not reply to me saying “Sorry this happened!!!1!!1!!1! Please call us at…..” No. I shouldnt have to call, that is what the reviews are FOR. Have upper management actually LOOK at these terrible reviews, nobody has time to call and complain. Its 2021. Get it together

👎👎👎👎😞😞

Since you pay for the ready before you get to this restaurant they don’t care about the quality of what you’re getting, granted it could be my particular raising Cane‘s #55 in Baton Rouge, LA. Granted I was late picking it up about 40 minutes, but they did not call me to see if my time was changed, they had it all packed up and sitting on the counter when I got there. So all the food is cold and not good. All because of RaisingCanesChickenFingers and me paying before hand. Got the answer from the developers keeping my app open doesn’t make a bit of difference in the order of $140 + I placed. Cold food because it was paid for in advance. Raising Canes doesn’t lose anything if it’s cold or not, except a customer that will never order from them again the store doesn’t care and has done this before with missing items ordered on past orders. RaisingCanesChickenFingers makes it worse so this store has their money and you don’t realize anything is wrong until it’s to late 👎👎👎👎

Good concept, but very poorly executed

It’s really cool that you can finally order ahead at Canes, but RaisingCanesChickenFingers needs serious work. I made an account and three times it said there was an error and it couldn’t make it. So then, I try it again and it says there is already an account under that email. So I then try to log in with my email and password but when I pressed “log in” it would load for less than a second and then not log me in. I tried it 10 times until finally it said my email and password didn’t match, so I assumed I put in the password wrong and went to change my password. I put in my email so it would send the password change, but it came up with a red error that literally just
Said [object Object] like what??? And it didn’t send the email confirmation. Once again if they can fix some issues with logging in this would be a great app.

Good App, but Dangerous Errors

RaisingCanesChickenFingers is great for ordering your favorite chicken fingers on the go but can be proven to have some dangerous errors within it.

I started using RaisingCanesChickenFingers around 2 weeks and I already have ran into a dangerous error. I was ordering a box combo but RaisingCanesChickenFingers crashed and I couldn’t access it for some reason. When I went to my email however to see if it got ordered, I was charged with not 1 extra Caniac combo, but 3. The email thankfully gave me a number to call if there was problems.

Canes quickly picked up my call and I told them about the problem. The understood and gave me a refund right on the spot. If you’re using RaisingCanesChickenFingers, make sure to use caution as this can happen. Hopefully for some, this issue won’t happen as sadly it happened to me.

Excellent food; the app needs some updates

This review is not for the food, which is always wonderful. The sauce is one of my favorite things ever. RaisingCanesChickenFingers itself could be improved by making the pickup times more accurate. Every time I order, RaisingCanesChickenFingers says that the pickup time is immediately after I’ve placed my order and that’s simply not accurate. The food is ready at minimum 20 minutes (sometimes longer) after I place the order. I just wish it was more accurate.

Also, I don’t understand why the rewards system is on a physical card and not built into RaisingCanesChickenFingers . You can add your card number into RaisingCanesChickenFingers , but it seems like that should just be a part of RaisingCanesChickenFingers .

Functionality delete

I have tried to use RaisingCanesChickenFingers now multiple times at my local Raising Cane’s (#772 in Dayton, OH) without success. I order through RaisingCanesChickenFingers and receive my email receipt. I leave RaisingCanesChickenFingers open (as instructed by RaisingCanesChickenFingers ) and drive to the store and arrive at the store by or slightly after the pickup time. My order has not been there for pickup and when I go to the register and ask about the order they have no idea of the order and had not seen it come through their system. The store (#772) has done an excellent at handling this each time and I have been able to get my food, but it is very frustrating not knowing if I will even have food when I get there. This is NOT the fastest way as all the advertising materials state. I love Raising Cane’s and their food and was extremely excited when I saw RaisingCanesChickenFingers , but have only been disappointed since.

Just not that great

RaisingCanesChickenFingers ’s geo tracking is awful. There needs to be an “I’m here” button or there is no purpose to this whole curbside thing. It’s buggy and always sits at pending especially if you place the order at like 11:00 to be ready at 5:00. There’s also no way to add an extra item from the meal screen so it’s always a hassle trying to add items from the extras screen. I get that the response is always to leave RaisingCanesChickenFingers open with geo tracking enabled for the order, but that’s just simply bad app design. To make it more convenient for customers, especially for those that order ahead, there needs to be some way for the customer to indicate that they are either on their way, or at the restaurant. Overall, the design looks like it kept mainly the staff and IT system in mind, which is a good thing, but not much consideration for the customer’s convenience.

Serious flaw

The first time I used RaisingCanesChickenFingers , it seemed pretty good. It took the restaurant almost 10 minutes to bring out my food after I arrived, but I don’t know if that was RaisingCanesChickenFingers or just the people. But, since then, I’ve attempted to use it THREE different times at two locations. I choose my restaurant, enter my family’s order, enter payment info, choose curbside (it has always said that drive thru isn’t available), enter the description of my vehicle and *THEN* after all that, it says “we’re sorry, Cane’s #xxx is not taking mobile orders at this time”. WTH?!?! Either it’s saying that because it’s somehow erroring out at the end or someone made a SERIOUS design flaw that doesn’t tell you a restaurant is unavailable until after you’ve wasted a bunch of time. Really, REALLY annoying. Will not use RaisingCanesChickenFingers again.

Needs major polish

After waiting this long for an app I was hoping for a very native user experience. First RaisingCanesChickenFingers gives you an option to skip the account creation step but then forces you to create it anyway before finishing your order. Also, a modern iOS app should streamline data entry of your contact information and credit card but it does not. Everything has to be typed in. This makes the account creation painful if you are in a hurry. RaisingCanesChickenFingers also does not leverage the password keychain to generate a secure password although it looks like it will let you access a saved password. But that doesn’t help for the painfully slow registration process. Looking forward to another release that addresses these shortcomings.

Slow and Glitchy/Buggy

Every time I try to sign in/sign up for an account the page always refreshes and I have to put in my information all over again. I can’t even fill out most of the information fast enough because it refreshes too quick and it’s slow to input text on the information boxes and trying to move to the next information box.

I haven’t ordered anything on RaisingCanesChickenFingers yet. I heard about RaisingCanesChickenFingers from a promotional email from Cane’s and thought it would be a good idea to at least have an account set up for when I plan to order. I did read a few reviews before RaisingCanesChickenFingers installed on my mobile device and already knew it was going to be bad, but not being able to even set up an account was a bummer.

Hopefully they fix RaisingCanesChickenFingers soon.

No Apple Pay and Location Tracking and data tracking

The login process is not great. Why not use Face ID? Also, where is Apple Pay? Why can’t I use Sign In with Apple so that you don’t have my email? I don’t want to store my credit card info on file for you. I don’t trust that you won’t let someone steal it. In fact, I’d be shocked if it’s not stolen in the next 2 years. Also, the text fields are not setup to allow for auto-fill. What a hassle. Is that a major technical hurdle? Or is it designed that way so that it encourages me to keep it on file, so that you have more of my data on hand?

Do you really need to track me across apps and websites? No, you absolutely do not need to track me across apps and websites. Are you selling my data?

Excellent design-only one thing

It’s very easy to use, and I particularly liked that I could go back and change the pickup time before finalizing the order. And of course, it gets me Canes deliciousness faster. :)

Only suggestion is that the location tracker is perhaps too sensitive. I live fairly close to the restaurant and put in an order for a set time (about 45m later) with the tracking option on. But as soon as a picked up my phone a little later, RaisingCanesChickenFingers thought I was approaching the restaurant.

By

Still needs work

I love that Canes finally created RaisingCanesChickenFingers! Unfortunately, since they’re still new I feel like there can still be improvements. The “Arrived” button after ordering online glitches and doesn’t notify the restaurant you’ve arrived to be able to bring out your order. Has happened a few times already and one time the restaurant phones were constantly busy and I was unable to leave my car due to server am reasons so I was sitting in my car calling until it wasn’t busy. 20 minutes later I got through and was told I never checked in on RaisingCanesChickenFingers . Which I refreshed several times and it still said I was checked in. Almost 49 mins later I get my order. Please fix!

Very poor app

RaisingCanesChickenFingers is just a wrapper around a web view, which isn’t so bad because the design is decent. However, there are quirks that make it nearly unusable. For example, no matter which credit card I attempt to use, it’s rejected due to an invalid billing address. This doesn’t happen with any other company, and it makes me suspect that RaisingCanesChickenFingers is processing the payment with my apartment number included in an invalid way. So, I literally can’t check out. RaisingCanesChickenFingers should allow Apple Pay (we’re in 2021), and this wouldn’t even be a concern.

Also, there’s a max password length limit of 25 characters, which is ridiculous. There is literally no technical reason that any password length maximum needs to be imposed.

Fix the app, it’s not working

I thought I was the only one who had this bug where RaisingCanesChickenFingers doesn't show you any of the locations near you even when there is one. I have a Raising Cane's literally 10 minutes away from me and when I type in the restaurant's address it doesn't pop up; it tells me 'there are no Raising Cane's restaurants near you.' PLEASE, PLEASE fix this obvious error AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. I will even take back this review and rate RaisingCanesChickenFingers five stars if the issue is fixed. Because clearly it’s not working right now.

Grab and go ordering

So excited canes a mobile ordering option! This is awesome and I can’t wait to use it more. Food was ready and everything was in the bag. Super easy to just grab and go.

By

Trash app

The UI is fine and it looks useable but RaisingCanesChickenFingers location feature to start an order is completely broken and not useable... so RaisingCanesChickenFingers is worthless. Perhaps they disabled this due to COVID?... but even if that’s the case, they should pull it off of RaisingCanesChickenFingers Store then? Pointless to make an account and do all of the stuff to set it up if you cannot even use it.

By

Location Services Down

I can normally order through delivery apps for Canes but today I couldn’t so I downloaded RaisingCanesChickenFingers. DoorDash and Uber Eats whom I’ve both used to deliver canes before also say there’s no restaurants in my area. There’s something fishy going on in the back end for sure.

By

Doesn’t work

Just downloaded and I started to use it but every few seconds it just goes back to the first screen and I have to start over. Must be some glitch they should fix.

By

No locations

When you try to start an order, no locations show up even if there is one nearby. This makes it literally impossible to order online.
:((

By

Five minutes of capchas for nothing

The amount of capchas RaisingCanesChickenFingers puts you through to create an account its absurd. After all that nonsense, RaisingCanesChickenFingers can't even find the restaurant a mile away so I can order. So much fail.

By

THIS APP IS BROKEN

It all starts at the location option. I keep on getting that there are no restaurants near me even when I put the address of the Canes I drive too 50 minutes away from my house.

By

Doesn’t work!

There are two Cane’s - about 15 minutes drive from my house. RaisingCanesChickenFingers continue to show up no cane’s around my location!

By

No locations

Broken and useless

By

waste of time

Doesn’t show you any restaurants near you so it’s useless
