I can’t afford to be a better me

I was diagnosed at a very young age, but my parents hid it from me for 30 years. I often wondered why I have never been able to focus at school or work, often get overwhelmed by chores or tasks other people seem to complete without even thinking about it… I was hoping this app would be a guide to help me improve the areas I struggle with most. I’m sick of always getting passed over for promotions and opportunities because I lack the skills my neuro-typical peers don’t have to pay $200/year to learn. I don’t have the budget flexibility that allows me to justify such a hefty fee every year just to try to level the playing field, but I still decided to give the free trial a go. So far I haven’t seen anything really helpful that made me think this app could be worth such a hefty fee, so I cancelled my subscription ASAP and plan to poke around on it for the remainder of my free trial. Maybe I can find something useful, but so far I’m not seeing anything that would make this app worth so much. I have lots of useful apps that help improve my life in different ways. All of which manage to keep their costs well under $75/year. Why does an app with such philanthropic claims have such a large price tag? Is this like the Hermès of self-improvement apps or something?

Glad my friend warned me!

I’ve been searching for a good ADHD app for a while now and recently downloaded a few to feel them out. Luckily enough My friend who has some experiences with the apps let me know of her very....different experience with the co founder of this app. She was charged 95$ for a yearly subscription. The options are either 95$ for a year or 30$ for a month. Not sure how that math makes sense? The co founder then proceeded to email her not once, but twice to get her to take down her review. Also, attaching screenshots basically calling her a liar about when she received the email about the charge and when she opened it. As a co founder, customer service should be one of the most important things you should have. Very disappointed that a mental health app would go out of their way to talk rudely to someone for expressing their own feelings.

Need longer than a week trial

I definitely wish it were longer than a 1 week trial. It even tells you to try it for 2 weeks. And of course, I can’t remember where exactly it says that-shocker. I haven’t even gotten a full week of use bc I haven’t been able use it everyday. I have two baby boys, 1 and 2 1/2 years old. I don’t have a lot of free time with my phone. A few things I’ve read or learned in the app have been enlightening and helped some. But I can’t do every step of every module AND put everything that I’ve attempted to learn into practice in one week. The usage I’ve gotten has given me just enough to wish I could explore it a little longer but not even close to enough to pay that much for it. There are so many areas I haven’t had a chance to explore yet. I really appreciate what y’all are trying to do. And I understand the price is for the real life coach and all the tools and resources. But I definitely need longer than a week to determine if I want to commit to paying that price. I was really hopeful for this bc Im loosing my mind a little bit lately. 😳
