Just What I Needed!!!

I came to Inflow through ADDitudes and I’m so glad I found it. This is just what I needed to learn how to get things done, stay on track at work, and feel better about myself. My coworkers have noticed an improvement and I’m getting more done after just two weeks of using this app daily. The modules are useful. I’m learning so much about what works, what doesn’t, and why. The live events are very informative and the live work group every weekday is amazing. I don’t completely understand why the work group works so well, but it has been a game changer when I’m struggling to get started or stay focused on a project I really don’t want to do. There is a cost, but it is well worth it to me and WAY cheaper than doing all of this with a coach, owing a ton in late fees because I forget to pay bills, or the risk of losing a job. I am 110% happy with this and it is already making noticeable improvements in my life. I have one thing I would like to see. If the developers are reading this, please consider making it a two week trial. I don’t think one week is enough time for most people to determine if this will work for them. I saw just enough that I was willing to pay for a month to see how it went, but there are a lot of people who need this that may still be hesitant after just one week. And thank you for the reminder when my trial was about to end!!!! It’s so easy for us ADHDers to forget things like that. That speaks volumes about intentions.

The right direction! Great App

First, let me say that I will gladly pay the $95 price per year if the content continues to build in features and community. I have been using it for 3 days now and this content so far is mostly things that I know about ADHD and strategies for growth (just a great way to remind me of them when I forget). I like the way it adds structure to creating habits and is flexible with how many habits/tasks you work on at once. I like the prompts (my favorite feature). I like that the community, journal, challenges are all there and the presentation. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is that Inflow is great right now, but can be so much greater if the developers take the 95 dollars per year's investment that I and many others are making and will make. To design a helpful app for our Adhd community. I will be keeping Inflow for a year and thanks for creating a great all with even greater potential. I will change my review and be willing to make suggestions on improvements if asked. Maybe add a suggestion box if not there currently.

Love the app, have one complaint

Inflow does a great job of not being overbearing. As someone newer to ADHD, I'm learning a lot from the modules, and the journals and community questions encourage reflection to deepen my understanding and apply what I'm learning to my own life. I appreciate and enjoy the challenge.

The issue I'm having is with the daily questions - I think some buttons on the screen are too close together and I almost always prematurely post what I've typed. It happens so fast that I can't describe it exactly but if I catch it, I'll edit my review to give more detail.

Need longer than a week trial

I definitely wish it were longer than a 1 week trial. It even tells you to try it for 2 weeks. And of course, I can’t remember where exactly it says that-shocker. I haven’t even gotten a full week of use bc I haven’t been able use it everyday. I have two baby boys, 1 and 2 1/2 years old. I don’t have a lot of free time with my phone. A few things I’ve read or learned in Inflow have been enlightening and helped some. But I can’t do every step of every module AND put everything that I’ve attempted to learn into practice in one week. The usage I’ve gotten has given me just enough to wish I could explore it a little longer but not even close to enough to pay that much for it. There are so many areas I haven’t had a chance to explore yet. I really appreciate what y’all are trying to do. And I understand the price is for the real life coach and all the tools and resources. But I definitely need longer than a week to determine if I want to commit to paying that price. I was really hopeful for this bc Im loosing my mind a little bit lately. 😳

Highly effective and BRIEF CBT lessons proven to work

I’ve had ADHD long enough to understand most of the common struggles others like myself share. I am also all to familiar with the fact that the attributes are usually misunderstood by those with normal brains, often times causing us to have very low self esteem. (It’s all my fault, I’m forgetful and easily confused simply because I’m a jerk and not very smart). Inflow is a great reminder that you can forgive yourself for these issues. They are not things we have as a result of any character flaws. Our brains are documented physiologically different. CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) is one of the most overlooked but effective tools in dealing with mind management. Inflow emphasizes these therapies and prescribes very simple exercises that do help over time. But again, most importantly, forgive yourself. You are different and you are most certainly not alone. Inflow brings us together so we can learn from one another.

Great for Managing Your ADHD

So first off, I saw a review that said this is best from people who just got diagnosed. I’m going to disagree. I’m 30-years-old and I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was seven. I really took a lot away from Inflow. I rarely recommend buying apps, but this is worth the Investment.

I have my master’s degree, a successful career as a technical recruiter, and a fiancé who is a lawyer. Despite all this, there’s still a lot I struggle with concerning my ADHD. Inflow has already helped me in areas I struggle in such as managing my emotions. It’s also helped me in areas in my life that I didn’t even know were a struggle due to ADHD.

Inflow is one of the first tools I’ve actually found helpful for managing ADHD. For instance, I tried joining an ADHD support group on Facebook. I ended up leaving because I didn’t find I related well to what others who were posting in the group. Topics such as celebrating keep a job for two months straight for the first time in their lives or sharing how they’ve never been able to have a successful romantic relationship. I’m not looking down on those people, I just couldn’t relate to them. However, Inflow, I definitely feel that I can.

ADHD looks different on everyone and I believe everyone with ADHD will find Inflow useful.

Good app for adult ADHD

I tried out the 1-week trial and enjoyed it, though I’m not really a “true” ADHD person since I’m super organized and have good control over my emotions — just easily distracted. I was formally diagnosed with “sluggish cognitive tempo” for which there isn’t an app (and some cynical people even believe that SCT is a disorder “made up” to sell more psychotropic drugs. Ugh), but the symptoms somewhat overlap with ADHD so the this app modules are useful.

Yes, the name “this app” with the pink colors and the logo that almost looks like a period cup definitely reminds me of menstruation! Strange branding, but maybe there will be a future release that has more attractive graphic design and a stronger logo. Definitely a great resource, so I hope Inflow continues.

I can’t afford to be a better me

I was diagnosed at a very young age, but my parents hid it from me for 30 years. I often wondered why I have never been able to focus at school or work, often get overwhelmed by chores or tasks other people seem to complete without even thinking about it… I was hoping Inflow would be a guide to help me improve the areas I struggle with most. I’m sick of always getting passed over for promotions and opportunities because I lack the skills my neuro-typical peers don’t have to pay $200/year to learn.

I don’t have the budget flexibility that allows me to justify such a hefty fee every year just to try to level the playing field, but I still decided to give the free trial a go. So far I haven’t seen anything really helpful that made me think Inflow could be worth such a hefty fee, so I cancelled my subscription ASAP and plan to poke around on it for the remainder of my free trial. Maybe I can find something useful, but so far I’m not seeing anything that would make Inflow worth so much.

I have lots of useful apps that help improve my life in different ways. All of which manage to keep their costs well under $75/year.

Why does an app with such philanthropic claims have such a large price tag? Is this like the Hermès of self-improvement apps or something?

Thank You!!!

I recently downloaded Inflow and before my 1-week free trial was even up I made the commitment to and for myself for the New Year 2022, to sign up for the year. This is a very comprehensive program (which is SO MUCH more than simply an app), and even includes an option to work personally with an ADHD coach, which I just started doing. I’m a senior who has struggled my entire life with ADHD-related issues, and this program has already helped me in so many ways.

Kudos to co-creator Dr. George Sachs and his wonderful team of facilitators. Highly recommended - give this as a gift to yourself &/ or to any loved ones who struggle with the various challenges presented by living with ADHD.

Exactly what I was looking for

I went searching for an ADHD coaching app and was lucky to be accepted as a beta tester for this app. It’s friendly but not silly, and the modules and challenges all make sense. There’s good information but it’s not overwhelming, and because Dr. Sachs has ADHD himself he is able to frame things in a way that make a lot of sense. As someone else said, a lot of this information is not necessarily new, but it is contextualized and demystified in very helpful ways. The prompts to
do challenges, answer community questions, and complete journal entries make it different from just reading a book—the small actionable ways to internalize the info make Inflow work for me.

Glad my friend warned me!

I’ve been searching for a good ADHD app for a while now and recently downloaded a few to feel them out. Luckily enough My friend who has some experiences with the apps let me know of her very....different experience with the co founder of Inflow. She was charged 95$ for a yearly subscription. The options are either 95$ for a year or 30$ for a month. Not sure how that math makes sense? The co founder then proceeded to email her not once, but twice to get her to take down her review. Also, attaching screenshots basically calling her a liar about when she received the email about the charge and when she opened it. As a co founder, customer service should be one of the most important things you should have. Very disappointed that a mental health app would go out of their way to talk rudely to someone for expressing their own feelings.

Quick and effective way to improve your focus and happiness

As a psychologist, and human who has feelings, I love Inflow. In less than 5 minutes per day, In Flow helps bring awareness to areas in your life you want to improve and behaviors you want to change. I love that it starts with simple education and builds to add skills for different areas. These areas are customizable to those you feel specifically benefit you. There’s also a community, where you can connect to others who can understand your life experience. Give it a try and you won’t be disappointed.

You can start now!

First of all, an app is no substitute for a diagnosis and professional support, but this app has been a great first step for me. These are life skills and community support that you don’t need any prescription for. As an American, accessing official medical support can take a long time and have significant financial barriers. I’m in my late twenties, still waiting for an official diagnosis, but my parent was recently diagnosed (in his 60’s!), so I’m using this app to get myself on a path to sustainability and success in my work and relationships. It’s never too late, but it’s also not too early! You can start now!

Helpful esp since newly diagnosed

I like Inflow a lot, use it daily, would recommend it and I will keep using it long term. I am very newly diagnosed and needing to learn more. The modules on various topics about coping with Adhd have been helpful to learn more. I also really like the community aspect since I don’t know anyone else with this, and I really like the accountability coach aspect. The whole app is set up in a way that is very adhd-user-friendly. Tech support has been very responsive / helpful. It’s been a huge resource to me, new in my journey / dx, and made me feel much less lost.

Highest Recimmendation

Inflow is structured to help in any way possible. The support team are always quick to respond to the needs to the community, and the people in the community are empathetic and kind. I typically don’t take the time to write reviews, but I feel like Inflow isn’t getting the attention it deserves.

A handful of people in the community recently came together and decided that having accountability partnership would be a good idea. The same day, the development team began the discussion to brainstorm the idea.

Please support Inflow

Compassionate and thorough

this app is a great app. The modules are really simple, but speak to so many concerns that I have always had. Sometimes the narrator makes me laugh because he's basically describing my life, but it's so nonjudgemental and understanding and encouraging. If you want to learn about your special brain and learn strategies to help you maximize your capabilities, this is Inflow for you. Also, seeing others respond to the daily prompt and are participating in challenges let's me know I'm not the only one! So there's also a lil community that is nice.

By

Thank you

This is about the modules in Inflow ; most make you take a minute to breathe and really guide you to figure out the “why” to help you face certain feelings. What’s happening in your head doesn’t come out of nowhere, there is a reason behind your actions.
Having a reason means there can eventually be a solution!
It’s not a hopeless situation that you just have to “try harder” at or continue to push through by yourself over and over again. This is huge thank you so much…

It’s like headspace for ADHD!

I’m really liking the trial so far. Especially with the short lessons along with mini-journals and challenges. I wish there was more of a game/ reward aspect to them though. Overall it’s a great app for things you already know, but need reminders for- Inflow could improve a lot though in what it offers for $99/yr. Also the monthly option is too expensive, if I could try for a couple months (3 month deal??) and then choose the year that’d be way better.

Amazing work in progress

I absolutely love Inflow. My wife has been telling me, who’s been diagnosed a few times with ADHD in her life, that I should get tested because she is so sure I have it. She informed me signs in women are much different than in men. Since then I’ve found this app and every time I exit Inflow , I’ve learned so much and so much of what is a problem with me, I know it’s common in a lot of people!
this app has taught me ways to cope, ways to calm down learn some more about RSD. It’s a work in progress, a rollercoaster
But the tools are so useful.
It’s hard for me to concentrate when, and this app gives me the option to read AND listen, at the same time.
The scripts aren’t always verbatim, but not much off so it’s not hard to follow along at all.

I definitely recommend! I can’t wait for the progress and see just how far both Inflow and I have come.

All in one ADHD app.

I don't write reviews that often but wanted to say to Inflow creators, that I love Inflow! I was swimming around looking for help with my new diagnosis and saw a video on Tik Tok where someone suggested this app. I was doubtful but Inflow is suprisingly helpful. I say that because I haven't found so much in one place that is as interesting and helpful. I mean there is additude magazine but I'm mostly on my phone so having all the content in the palm of my hand is great. I look forward to further improvements.

I recently subscribed to an ADHD-focused iPhone app, only to encounter several concerns worth noting: Pricing and Subscription Model: The app charges an annual fee of $200, which I found steep, especially since I inadvertently signed up for the premium option instead of the base one, which is $130 less. The auto-renewal feature, without clear reminders, is problematic for users like me who struggle with remembering such details. This seems to exploit a common ADHD challenge of forgetting annual commitments like this. Lack of Transparency and Refund Policy: There were no reminders or invoices for the annual charge. When I realized this and sought cancellation, they denied any refund. The lack of transparency in billing and inflexible refund policy was disheartening. Issues with Medication Appointment Booking: I attempted to schedule a medication appointment, but faced multiple issues: My intake form details were lost three times, causing unnecessary delays and rescheduling. There was confusion about appointment availability, with the support team indicating technical issues that were supposedly unreported, yet they were aware of calendar synchronization problems. The process of repeatedly filling out intake forms, which is particularly challenging for individuals with ADHD, felt disregarded. Potential Privacy Concerns and Customer Service: The repeated loss of my intake details raises potential HIPAA compliance questions. When I inquired about the safety and whereabouts of my data, which was visible in my portal but not in their EMR, my appointment was abruptly canceled, and they expressed an inability to work with me, despite 'appreciating the feedback'. Inaccuracies in Professional Assignments: The nurse assigned to me had reportedly retired four years prior. This discrepancy, whether due to outdated records or other reasons, raises concerns about the app's currentness and reliability. Final Thoughts: Given these experiences, I advise caution with this app. The combination of billing opacity, appointment scheduling issues, potential privacy concerns, and inaccuracies in professional assignments undermines the trust and reliability essential in healthcare apps, particularly for those managing ADHD.
