I’ve used SecretPhotoVault for years. It worked fine. All in a sudden SecretPhotoVault has a new layout, my folders are still there but all of my photos are gone. They deleted all of my photos, they are claiming to a lot of people that they’re commenting on the wrong app, but I used SecretPhotoVault, and my photos are gone.

SecretPhotoVault must have been changed without any notice. I can no longer access the things I saved and I’m bombarded with an ad to subscribe. I already did! It’s acting like I don’t have a subscription and it’s no longer in SecretPhotoVault Store. This seems to be the same company. I trusted them and now I can’t get my photos back.

I am having the same issue as everyone else. I bought a $2.99 a month subscription to view my pictures. I was forced to do this to view them. They keep saying they are a different company but it is literally the same name. They took the money and ran. I have screenshots that the company name is the same.

Had SecretPhotoVault since 2018, had photos and information I can’t get back, awfully strange that you have the same name as the old app and an almost identical service but you “aren’t the same company”.... I don’t believe it, don’t download don’t buy they’ll leave you high and dry.

This dumb app has you put photos in it !! Then when you go to log in you can see your photos there for one second then won’t let you get it because a blocker pops up to make you pay for a dumb subscription!!!! And you can’t access your personal efin pictures that you may not have an extra copy of highly upset

So I haven’t utilized SecretPhotoVault in a while and when I tried to do so it wouldn’t allow me to gain access to my photos. It directed me to another screen to purchase SecretPhotoVault instead of using it for free like I use to. I was willing to pay for it in order to get my photos but that wasn’t working. I’ve been trying to get my pictures for 2 mos.

SecretPhotoVault has been around for a while..on the first app developer made it to where you HAVE to subscribe to in order to access your photos AFTER u save them..HORRENDOUS HUMAN..would be better practice to just tell people there’s a charge before purchasing. Also all the people with his old app are no longer able to log in. So all our photos are gone.

These developers scammed us all and probably kept a copy of our documents and photos. And they created this new app and cancelled the old one without warning. I had precious documents and family photos of a deceased loved one and now they’re forever gone. I will find a way to sue. I will sue and bring these developers down one way or another.

The person or team who designed SecretPhotoVault likes to discontinue their current app model, where all of your videos/pictures are stored, and causing you to lose access to them forever. If you purchase the new app, it won’t make any difference and there is no help or customer service. Don’t purchase this if you want to store anything you intend to keep. You have been warned.

The same developers had an old app in which I saved highly sensitive, special things to and have been paying for every month. They just cut access to SecretPhotoVault and I can't even retrive my pics and materials. The least they could do is forewarn and allow one to export all data. Horrible developers, charge a ton and then just trash the stuff you've been paying to keep. SCAMMERS!!!!!!!

I have only used SecretPhotoVault and no other app that the creator is talking about. I know because this is SecretPhotoVault I continue to update. I know it’s SecretPhotoVault and not another app because when I open it for a brief second you can see the album but I can not get into SecretPhotoVault due to you having to upgrade SecretPhotoVault but even when I try it will not allow me

This is the second time I have lost all my photos with SecretPhotoVault. The first time it just stopped opening up so I had to reinstall SecretPhotoVault and everything was gone. This time all I did was an app update (for the new 6 digit pin) and again everything is gone. Don’t waste your time or your money because eventually you will lose your photos if you use SecretPhotoVault.

This is the 2nd time I have purchased SecretPhotoVault and both times it has locked me out and I can’t retrieve my pics. It keeps giving me an error message and I can’t get a response from support. I only purchased it again because I thought that would recover my previous pictures! I’m still getting charged monthly for both subscriptions and I can’t get it to stop!

SecretPhotoVault recently became unusable without warning. Lost access to a lot of photos I had only one copy of. I know they still exist because for a brief moment when SecretPhotoVault opens I can see the album and the cover photo, but then a popup telling me I need to purchase premium access comes up and has an error so I can’t to that either. DO NOT BUY OR USE SecretPhotoVault. The developer will comment and lie that it’s not their app.

Considering how useless the developer is in responding to real questions, here is the workaround (it’s been stated before). Put your phone on airplane mode, and wait at least a minute or to. Then when you go into SecretPhotoVault you’ll actually see an X in the top corner which will let you get past that screen that asks you to upgrade. Once you do that secure all your pictures and remove them from this garbage app. Then make sure to never download another app from this crook again.

You tell everyone it was a different developer/team because you don’t want to assume responsibility for all of the bad ratings and people losing their photos. Why use the same name “UnderLock” and the same icon with such horrible ratings then. You owed the people that used SecretPhotoVault a fix to get the photos. For free.

With the most recent update (1.10) all of my photos are gone and i can not switch between folders anymore, only the main folders. they were all updated by the in-app cloud. was just wondering how to fix this?

The lack of accountability and fs given is ridiculous. You couldn’t care less how many photos anyone has loss as long as your making money. Then attempting to sugar coat the situation by saying they are two totally different apps as if they don’t have the same name and app logo. Y’all are wrong for what y’all have done to me and countless other people.

I don’t use SecretPhotoVault, but I am writing this review so that the developers will see it. The reason you get so many reviews intended for “UnderLock” is because when you search “UnderLock” in SecretPhotoVault Store, SecretPhotoVault pops up first, and the icon is very similar to the UnderLock icon.
For the people who are here because they think it is UnderLock, I FOUND A WORKAROUND: put your phone in airplane mode, wait a minute and then open SecretPhotoVault . When the “upgrade to premium” screen blocks you this time, there will be an X on the upper left hand corner that will allow you to X out and get to your photos. At that point you can go to each photo and save them to your phone’s camera album. Then you can re-hide your photos in a better, more reputable app LOL
I had to move the photos ONE at a time out of UnderLock, because if you try to do more, you get blocked by the “premium” ad again. Hope this helps! And I gave SecretPhotoVault five stars to make up for all the people giving 1 star, thinking that it’s UnderLock LOL

SecretPhotoVault is trash and a scam. I had photos stored in there and then all of a sudden I can’t even view them anymore. SecretPhotoVault is trying to make me pay to view photos that are mine in the first place. Whoever runs this is a creep and clearly just wants to keep private photos or videos. Save yourself the trouble and find another app.

After you upload your videos, you won’t be able to see them ever again. It says you have to subscribe , but there is no way to subscribe because an error keeps popping up. Absolutely unfair!

It won’t allow me to view my data even after trying to use the paid versions. I tried contacting developers and they won’t respond. DO NOT download unless you’re okay with loosing all your private info

I had a paid subscription to SecretPhotoVault and now it will not be let me in. I was waiting to see an update or a fix but no such luck.

SecretPhotoVault will not let you log in meaning you cannot access your pictures. I used to love SecretPhotoVault but unless it’s fixed it has become useless
