Disgusting

2022-05-29

Not a citizen here in the UK but am required to download NHSCOVID19 in order to submit my 2 negative test results during quarantine. It’s an indication of a depraved society that we have imprisoned healthy, often times immune or vaccinated people for weeks on end. Now add to that an app that tracks your location “anonymously” just so a “free” people might be allowed, by their benevolent government, to leave their own homes and attend their own businesses within their own communities. What’s worse is that everyone has begged for this level of surveillance and control in order to FEEL just a gram safer. I feel physically ill and I’m overcome with a sense of dread that I cannot fully explain with NHSCOVID19 installed on my tracking device. I will delete as soon as possible! “They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty or safety” Benjamin Franklin

Doesn’t download iPhone 6+ IOS 12.4.8

I guess only people with the newest smart phones and IOS are worth tracing and notifying of covid alerts. Thanks for not making this available to everyone.

Not Made For USA

2022-07-31

I figured I’d download this to be better safe than sorry. It looked pretty straightforward, until it asked me what my postal code was. Here in the USA, we have a 5-digit zip code, for example 90210 (like the soap opera), and it does NOT work only 4 characters as the limit.

Please create a US variant of this.

Not for USA

2022-09-01

Would be nice to have this in USA but it looks like it’s a UK only app

Too sensitive

2022-10-03

Overly sensitive and banned by my employer because of it.

Wasn’t tracked or traced.

2022-11-03

Wasn’t tracked or traced after checking into multiple locations with someone who later tested positive.

£36 Million 🤦🏼‍♂️

2022-12-05

I mean it works okay, has bugs and some thing don’t function properly. But for a £36 million (tax payer’s money) app I expect a lot better and more testing to have been done.

Great idea, poor execution!

2023-01-05

Great idea but piss poor execution!

So I got a notification about an exposure to someone who is now positive, I clicked the notification for NHSCOVID19 to open and then nothing no info!

What if I had cleared the notification by accident or my phone went flat then it would be gone!

It needs to be updated to have a list where you can see not only past notifications, but when you have been exposed it should list the following

Date, time, duration, location.

So you can then make further informed decisions about that location and if you want to go back there etc.

Unless they do this NHSCOVID19 is useless really!

Not well designed.

2023-02-06

Any good app provides value to the user. Value promotes usage and loyalty. NHSCOVID19 provides zero value to the user.

1. Should be able to use the camera only and not NHSCOVID19 to register. Should allow others to register using your own phone e.g. people who don’t have a phone, foreigners.
2. Should be able to see a history of usage inc. locations visited, In and out times.
3. Should be able to register your leaving an establishment even if you closed NHSCOVID19 . Currently if you close they app you cannot explicitly log you that you have left an establishment.
4. Why not show a map with the zones and their risk category. Useful to know where to avoid or take extra precautions.

Vague and Terrifying Notifications

2023-03-10

I’ve received 3 pop up notifications telling me I’ve had a possible exposure and to open NHSCOVID19 for more info. There’s never any info in NHSCOVID19 . It only ever shows the same basic screen.
So I guess that means they’ve been false alarms?

Faulty notifications

2023-04-08

I received two notifications which I tapped on and then they immediately disappeared. So I have no idea what they actually said, however, one seemed to say I had been exposed and then the other was a clarification of that exposure. Meanwhile I have no idea what NHSCOVID19 is trying to tell me what I should know and do!!

Not at all helpful. Would be nice if the Government could at least get this right.

Notification Not Helpful & Provide No Value

2023-05-10

The intent of NHSCOVID19 is great, but it provides little end user value.

I’ve received a notification about possible exposure, but it has no information on when or where. If I click the notification, it takes me to NHSCOVID19 and then disappears, again with not further information, or even anything in NHSCOVID19 reaffirming the notification I just received. What if I clicked it by mistake without reading it fully?

Without any actual information, NHSCOVID19 is just yet another failure of the test and trace screen.

16 or older?

2023-06-10

I’m fourteen and school is starting soon. I thought I should have NHSCOVID19 . Now I’m told that I can’t use NHSCOVID19 because I’m under 16? I’m sure that NHSCOVID19 is really useful and is to protect the public, but why can’t kids going to school use it?

I think NHSCOVID19 is really nice, but I wish you could see the date/ time you were exposed and how long you were exposed for!

Thank you
