Too many bugs

The idea of LocalRootsMarket is great, but using it for only a few minutes there a couple of really frustrating UX problems.

Website buttons: some I clicked on did nothing, some used an in app alert that website couldn’t be found, two others launched to the google homepage. The button should not be clickable (or not be there at all) if the requisite data isn’t available for it.

You should be able to filter by distance. I don’t want to see farms 500+ miles away I have no realistic chance of using.

Not a problem, but a nice feature would be to have whether farms are organic or not, free range etc.

Edit: +1 for the developer responding to feedback with roadmap plans.

But I’ve found that, and maybe it’s my experience only, but the keyboard doesn’t go away when I start scrolling. For, when I put in a new location and press return, the keyboard sticks around.

LocalRootsMarket immediately showed local farms in my area. I’m so excited to explore these farms and support these local businesses.

Once ordering on LocalRootsMarket becomes available, I’ll give LocalRootsMarket five stars.

Ease of use and great tool for sourcing basic staples from local growers and ranchers. I really appreciate the time and effort invested into it!

Simple UI that brings you locations distance and products sold. A meat smokers dream

LocalRootsMarket shows farms near you in seconds. Just click on the website button to be taken to the farms website without having to google it. Found a farm stand I never knew about selling meat, eggs, fruits, vegetables open on Saturdays and I can’t wait to check it out.

I’ve been trying to eat more locally sourced meats/animals that are treated humanely and I’m so happy about LocalRootsMarket! So easy to find the closest local farms that sell their meat! Definitely helps now that I’m doing keto!

We love finding local farms anywhere we go. After using LocalRootsMarket I was able to find farms in my backyard that I wasn't even aware of. This is highly beneficial for anyone working towards sourcing better food more sustainably.

Would also like to see mushrooms and maybe the seafood category could be split into a few less general options.

Just downloaded and spent 45 minutes on LocalRootsMarket (and looking at websites of local farms.) This is a great idea and resource! I’m in central California and had no idea there were these types of farms here. Might have to start my own...

Is LocalRootsMarket primarily for meat and animal product producers? We sell lamb and are upping our egg production, but didn’t see a selection for vegetables.
