Isn't the idea of an affinity program to reward and not to blatantly abuse frequent and loyal customers?

It's the second time that I'm unable to scan receipts for supper only because I also decided to have breakfast here on the same day.

The first time I flagged this via the "help" link it took one week for me to give up on them (they never respected the deadlines that they themselves set to respond via email). Really poor customer service.

This time I've flagged it again but not without writing a review to forewarn others that you cannot expect the people who create and manage FarmerBoys to provide customer service on a level any where close to what you experience at the stores. In fact , I've rarely experienced worse.

This isn't about the brick and mortar location - they're awesome. I've rung the bell and thanked the staff of your Rancho store on several occasions and wish that I could express a level of enthusiasm for FarmerBoys and customer service. Sadly I cannot and will think twice before visiting any Farmer Boys store twice on the same day!

Once a day - until I develop other habits and then maybe less.

There is competition out there and i regret that you've pushed me into their arms as a result of your affinity app. I'm only one customer but I assure you that there are others who feel the same way as well and choose to remain silent about it whilst taking their money elsewhere.

We’ve been enjoying the Strawberry milkshakes and once liked the fries. I love the Original Cheeseburger and my husband likes the Big Cheese.

We have not enjoyed the process of getting them. FarmerBoys doesn’t allow you to place an on-line order. Does not make sense since we pick our favorite location. FarmerBoys gets stuck on ordering clothes which I accidentally pressed.

When we call the Huntington Beach location every time the girl who answers the phone is yelling at us and seems like she is in a panic. When I asked for Cheddar Cheese she asked if I wanted Blue Cheese - not even an option.

The fries had cold spots - are the fresh or frozen??

And last night - it once again seemed like there were to many staff people behind the counter- with that many people you would think our milkshake wouldn’t be a surprise and that we wouldn’t have to wait 5 minutes for it.

We will be reluctant to return but might because there was a “woman” instead of a bunch of kids running the store. BTW this lady picked up the phone to take an order and was calm and NOT yelling.

Note: Farmers Boys App isn’t working while connecting Farmers Boys WiFi last night, I was very worn out and hungry that night, two counter worker tried help settings on my iPhone and it won’t work....I was waiting stand for about 30 mins...even I showed my ID it was my b-day 50th Golden , as I was ready ordering but somehow the workers still working on my iPhone setting n WiFi connected good but Apo isn’t working bec no Code...I was puzzled and upsetting...I don’t understand why the workers focusing on my iPhone for 30 mins....what the heck? I have big patience and waiting.....so I decided to leave,
I cannot believe the Farmers Boys workers show no empathy on me....seem they like to toying with my iPhone....something isn’t right and they did doing the big barriers on me... Farmers Boys App is No Good, (Sighs)....Star one!

So there I was craving a fried chicken breakfast bowl with over medium eggs...I have had this numerous times and crave it...I walk into my Riverbank location and find out they no longer carry it because it is not a popular item. Then I have to settle for a breakfast burrito, one to eat in and one to take out, as my wife ordered an eat in platter. Her platter shows up and my burrito is MIA...so to add injury to insult my order gets jacked up and they no longer serve my favorite breakfast item...now here is where it really gets good...it’s 7 AM and they have the air conditioner on full blast and blowing on my wife’s food...the crew is seemingly unorganized too busy doing prep work to even address my concerns...all I can say is Bye Felicia...no longer will you receive any of my greenbacks!

Once you view a notification the user should be given the option to clear the notification. This is the only app that I own that once I look at the notification thee notification doesn't go away until you use it. Notifications should serve a a notice of something new, not something that you want to stuck.

I'd recommend giving the use the option to choose how long the notification remains. Rift now it seems like the only way to clear the notifications is to say that you used the promo. I just press that I used it to clear the notification.

After driving 11 miles from San Pedro to get my chicken breakfast bowl with my partner who also wanted the same breakfast we were informed that the items we ordered were no longer available. There was another person that also wanted to order one. I hope farmer boys changes its decision I want biscuits and gravy when I go out for breakfast not necessarily every time but I like to have it available I get cravings for it so I sometimes drive all the way to Arthur’s in the city of Orange just for biscuits and gravy that’s over 30 miles from my home. Growing up in orange we had some great food and I truly appreciate farmer boys and had a great bacon burger this morning. I also had chili fries they forgot to put the onions on them no big deal my friend ended up ordering a Cobb salad with crispy chicken and it came not crispy but grilled. Once again we both just ate her food and we’re not happy that the menu changed so drastically there wasn’t even an alternative that was close to it.😩

My Husband & I love Farmer Boys. Our favorite one to go to is on 5th Street in Highland. Today we experienced a bad experience. First time we felt our meal was not the best quality. We ordered the fish dinner to go. I had tried 3 times to call in my order & the call wouldn’t go thru. Thinking I must have the wrong number. Had to order my to go order inside. Because they were short handed I waited at least 30 mins for my meal. We ordered the 4 piece fish meal with zucchini. When the girl behind the counter had my meal ready to go I pointed out to her I had never gotten a fish dinner looking like it did today. She replied that it looked ok to her. I replied to her if this is what I should expect from now on I won’t come back to order your fish dinner. Not sure what you can do for me, but I feel you need to see what the food looks like when it handed to the customer. Please let me know you read my review.

It took 4 people to ring up an order for one breakfast. The coupon ($3 off of French toast platter and drink) was misleading - the coffee was pictured with the meal, but turns out it’s extra! I told all 4 people that I wanted a side of toast, dry (no butter) - so, of course it was buttered when I got it! The bacon (we ordered crisp) was burned and my over hard eggs were brown and really over cooked. Add the ridiculousness of everything being packed in to go containers with plastic cutlery, even though we were dining in, to the fact that they gave us 12 packets of jam, 10 packs of salt and pepper, 4 containers of syrup, 4 packets of ketchup (on fried eggs?), a container of melted butter ( for the toast I ordered dry?), and I see why their prices are high! So wasteful! Poor management and poorly trained staff. Top it off with one of the few booths being saved for employees and it makes for an easy decision - we won’t be back!

The only reason I gave a 2 is because the food was good. The service was the worst I have ever experienced. Started in drive thru When I ordered one sandwich and she said my total was 8.07 I was not done ordering btw. Then changed my order and she said ok, get to the window and she never changed the order. It just starts there, had the order wrong, didn’t give me my change and never gave me my drink. Then as I was waiting I was watching a manager clean the excess ice and throw down below. Then use the same cup to fill up ice and drink for another customer. Then I was told to go around and wait in front for the rest of my order she brought out my partial order and I asked for the rest. She was very annoyed with this. It was very disappointing service tonight.

I ordered my meal at the drive up window asking for extra crispy french fries and for my drink an Arnold Palmer(half tea & lemonade). We’ll when I got back to my work to enjoy my meal, I found that the fries were not crispy and my drink was all tea, no lemonade. Looking at my receipt, I now see why my fries were not crispy and my drink had no lemonade. it’s not listed that way on the order/receipt. No mention of extra crispy fries and no mention of Arnold Palmer.

You need to improve your system on the orders. How is the person preparing the food going to know if you want crispy fries if it’s not listed on the order? and how is the person doing the drinks going to know I want an Arnold Palmer if it’s not listed on the order?

Very disappointing!

This is true. Order, Pay, Scan/Enter, Submit aaand, TADAAA, points! So far so good. Here’s the unfairness of it. When you reach 60 points and continue to scan/enter receipts, it starts you all over! It doesn’t add up. Twice now I’ve reached 60 points and forgotten to use my reward and continue to scan receipts expecting for the points to add up but, they don’t. I figured after I used my $5/60 points, that the remainder would show up and it did not. I go here 1-2 times a week for lunch with a group of special needs students and love the salads. I’m glad they have this reward thing but common, let the points add up.

I ordered a “Barn Burner Combo” paid 11+ dollars. After I paid I waited 5 min at the window just for them to tell me to drove around and that my food would be brought out. I was Frustrated (because no one was in line when I pulled up to order). The cashier said it would only be 5 mins bcz my burgers as just cooked and only had to be “put together”. I pulled around and waited ANOTHER 10 mins expecting a steaming HOT burger! Well, I got a COLD burger! Bun was cold, meat was cold and since I had already driven off wasn’t about to turn around to complain! Farmer Boy is VERY expensive and don’t come often bcz of that. But when I feel like “splurging” on an EXPENSIVE burger I think it would at least be hot! I’m VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

I went through the drive-through for the 4-piece Zucchini ”Happy Hour” 2 pm - 5 pm.

I asked to use the coupon given to me by this establishment (couple weeks ago) for a free large drink w/purchase. The Assistant Manager (AM), said I couldn't use the coupon w/that offer.

I mentioned that I was able to use the coupon, before two other times at the drive-through. Was told it should not have been allowed and he won't honor it.

It is frustrating, to say the least, because of the inconsistencies. Not assigning blame, because the cashiers that accepted my coupon twice before acted in good faith. In return, as a loyal customer, I frequent that FB restaurant often.

I was exasperated with the AM who condescendingly told me to calm down because he needed to be right instead of helpful.

In the end, common sense prevailed and the coupon was accepted. After this incident, I may not go back there. I hope that FB will provide sensitivity training regarding fair and equitable customer service treatment.

I have been going to Farmer Boys for a couple of years and enjoy the farmers cob salad allot. The natural burger is very tasty but they changed their fries and they are HORRIBLE. I would love be able to get the original fries they had as an option. The onion rings are good not great. The service in the new Irvine location is okay. The staff is friendly but their is usually an issue with someone’s order not being right.

The rewards program needs work. You can only submit 1 receipt a day. Sooo if you’re going to go more than once a day you won’t get credit for one visit.

Farmer boys has been a long time California staple/go to for farm fresh food however they are rather pricey for being drive-through. Often times possibly because of the pressures and stress of COVID-19, the staff isn’t very friendly at the drive-through window. They always seem to be in a rush and sometimes the condiments are not in the bag as they said they would be. The food is good overall but I think in this day and age when restaurants are trying to stay open by the skin of their teeth? Farmer boys should revise their policy and except multiple coupons for multiple people in one single car whether it’s drive-through or in the store.

The staff is super great! They welcome you when you walk in, it’s clean, they listen & get things right! They’re super busy but always friendly!

I saw a woman order, then go to her car to get a Starbucks cup. She came back in, marched over to the soda fountain and filled up that cup. People are jerks !! I told an employee but I can’t imagine what they would do... And hey that thief was like 60 years old!! I really do feel for servers, etc! And I will call that woman out if I see her again!!

Love my farmer boys here locally! Ringing that bell every time I come!!

I have enjoyed this restaurant for years, although the one small suggestion, for those that like to keep the line on the lither side, can we have the tomato flour tortillas, or spinach, or just healthier option to avoid a white flour tortilla? It would be even more awesome to have that option when we order at your window.

Best chicken sandwich, we add bacon, American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and onions to the sandwich and it’s out of this world. We order this with your zucchini sticks. We receive great service quality food every time, we visit our Murrieta location at least 5 times a month, if not more. I believe if you would post and show a picture of this combination sales would increase on this sandwich. Thank you for having the best chicken sandwich and service.

I’ve been going to this location “Farmer Boys” right around 4 months.. I have always enjoyed this location as it’s staff all are very very fun, kind, so bright and very cheerful! I go frequently to this particular location simply because they really do have really exceptional service, plus let’s not forget about their food!
There are locations everywhere, and two of them just so happen to be so close to the destination I am at! Their food is so so wonderful! Fresh, Hot, Fabulous! Enjoy an extra special visit here! I’ll always be coming back!!

This Farmer Boy location is perfect, so far, eating here once a day, work related, staff is always efficient, helpful, friendly. Location is always clean. menu options is just enough variety to make delicious choices, hearty portions too, early operating hours

Problem is the new app to earn points for free meal has many flaws , missing over 50 points and no one is able to correct

This was my first time going to the commerce California farmer boys when we got there they had one person working the cash register that same person worked the window and there was people in line food was cold it was crowded where the manager was we don’t know but it wasn’t the cashier fault she was trying her best the fault lies in management for not keeping up with the facility the floors were dirty , there was avocado and trash on the floor by where they were making the salad I could see it very clearly the restrooms were not clean at all they were cleaning the tables but nobody swept the floors it was just a horrible. I could see 3 women in the back room, what they were doing, we don’t know but they should have had more help in the front. This place is off the freeway and in a industrial area so it’s busy always. I eat at Farmers Boys in different locations all the time never had this experience. I love your restaurant but this wasn’t good. The food set up on the counter from where the cook was cooking for at least five minutes so you know the food was cold my burger came back cold and the cheese was not melted I complained got another burger with melted cheese but this should not have happened. We waited at least 4 minutes to get Service the poor girl behind the counter was overwhelmed between all the people in line and the drive-through if they need to hire more people they should because it should never be like this again.

After working in the area a year ago and first going to farmer Boys. What a great place. This year as last they do not allow you to scan more than 1 receipt a day for points. Guess they do not expect you to go to there restaurant more than once a day. Even though they have food for 3 meals. As for the salad. A beautiful sign showing all types of vegetables. But there garden salad only has 2 lettuce and tomatoes. Now for the new fries just like everyone else’s. No reason to go for the fries. Definitely not fresh.

I live FB but in my last two visits I got what I never used to... a No. No more rye bread. How can you do a patty melt without rye bread!?! Sourdough! Ugh.

Secondly, I appreciate that FB normally didn’t mind minor substitutions. Recently during Passover I stopped in for breakfast. Flour is forbidden during Passover which lasts for 8 days, and there were no acceptable substitutes for bread other than more bread like pancakes.
FB should think about this as I will think twice before coming here during Passover again.

If I am not having a meal at home, and want good nutritious food quickly and at a reasonable price, Farmer Boys is all I want. -especially The Farmer Burger with crispy zucchini side, or combo. I have loved everything I have tasted there. And the reward system is fabulous for making the average price paid even a better deal. You even get a birthday and 1/2 birthday present! It is so good, I just can’t stay away!🥑🍔🌈

The store on Benton Rd in Winchester, CA is one of my favorites! Friendly staff, clean and great food. We come here often, and one evening decided to get shakes for dessert after we had purchased our main meal. Tried to scan the second receipt, and nope! You can’t scan more than one receipt per day. C’mon guys - give your loyal customers credit for all purchases. Please?

This is by far the best farmer boys I’ve been to. My family and I are regulars (probably weekly) and this is the only FB we will come to. The Staff and service is always great, the order is always right and the food is ALWAYS on point!
Thank you to the Staff for a always doing a fine job.
The rest of the FB locations should all learn from this location!
