Marketplace: Buy and Sell Reviews

Previously, I had been using eBay to sell items but kept coming up in the negative every month being overtaken by crazy fees. I found this app by googling ‘where to sell your used clothing’, I was kind of skeptical but I liked the fact that there was no listing fee, just a selling fee after your item sold, which seemed reasonable! Also, the postage fees are set, so they are the same every time based on the weight of your package. I wasn’t sure how well it would work out with payment being contingent on your buyers rating of the item once received, I worried about letting my item go and then never receiving anything but I have had zero problem so far!
I only started selling in January but so far I have seen profit from this 😃 I think this app has an excellent system and they are very good at making sure it runs smoothly. It has been a pleasant surprise so far and the BEST thing about this app? ACTUAL customer service that offers a way to contact by email and then ACTUALLY RESPONDS!! I am one of those people who always has questions and you cannot know how much I appreciate being able to ask and always getting a quick, thorough response!
I can’t wait until this app passes all the competition and is known as the NEW number one selling app! 😃

I have used the this app app for a year and overall the functionality is good. My issue with the company is the lack of protection for Sellers. I shipped an item in decent condition and the Buyer requested a refund saying they did not like the item. The return process made no sense and I was never asked about the return from Support it was just initiated. In the middle of the return process the Buyer tried to sell the item but pulled the listing after I messaged asking the Buyer about the return. I messaged this app telling them what the Buyer was doing and told that the return would be intimated and I would get the item back. I received the item and it was damaged to the point that I would not be able to sell it again. I messaged the Buyer and they claimed it came like that, I asked why they tried to sell it if the it arrived like that and they backtracked asking for a partial refund. I took pictures and messaged Support with the photo evidence and cited the fact that the Buyer tried to resell the item when they received. I was denied my funds based on an vague review process. Now I have a damaged item that I will not be able to sell.

Using Marketplace to sell is easy. Not being able to email customer support is NOT GOOD. Other than that I LIKE Marketplace and the improvements they’ve made over the years. Glad they added a lower shipping rate for lightweight items like jewelry. I wish they would re-instate the $3 minimum listing price. Wish they would create an easier way to ADD to or create a BUNDLE. This would benefit all (the buyers, the sellers, & in turn this app itself because it would result in more sales). Lastly I wish they would fix what appears to be a glitch on the mobile app. I have a large amount of listings & when I want to edit some listings toward the bottom of my list, I edit & update. But once I’m done & Save, it goes ALL THE WAY BACK to the beginning of my listings and I have to scroll through all my listings again each time to get back to the bottom instead of it staying in the area of my listings where i just edited. It’s frustrating & time consuming. Hope to see more improvements. Marketplace has the potential to be GREAT & so much better than their competitors with just a few more changes.

The site is a wonderful place to sell stuff just sitting around. Great procedure they have in not meeting somewheres with a stranger! You buy/sell on the site, this app holds the money while the item is shipped/mailed. After the buyer/seller rates the product and the other buyer/sellers transaction then the money is released.

The only thing I don’t like is that, you can’t send the buyer/seller back photos exclaiming something isn’t what they said?!? You can however upload several pictures to the help center, however only one photo is used. So you have to send several emails with several different photos. And by experience this app will only except so many emails before they shut down you messaging with them. Still I’ve had nothing but a great experience with Marketplace. The other thing is, that you get a message saying you have a message and then you check it takes a while to get the message. As if to say it’s buffering. Still 5 Stars from me. We are human! We make Mistakes. But i see improvements constantly. Glad to be a buyer seller with Marketplace and this app...

I have to say the review before me said it all. Marketplace is far better than eBay simply because it’s so easy and convenient to sell or buy right from your home. It’s not complicated at all. Just fill out the essential information about your item which takes about 2 minutes, upload your photos, price your item and you’re done. eBay and Poshmark have nothing on this app. If you’re buying, the seller has 3 days to get their item shipped. When you receive it you must give the seller your rating before they can receive their money. Transfers from this app takes about 2 days if you transfer on a Sunday. They always make most of their transactions on Monday otherwise it may take a day or two more before the bank receives it and deposits it into your account. The support team is the best. It’s not easy sometimes making decisions on disputes but they try to get back with you within 2 days. Their responses are quick and professional. PLUS the prices are cheaper in my opinion for buyers. I’m very happy I found this app thanks to Rae Dunn. 😃

i’ve been through the wringer with ebay, and etsy, and poshmark, and this is hands-down the best platform i’ve used. everywhere else i had minimal sales, and especially when you’re paying to list stuff, that doesn’t feel great. what stood out to me from the beginning was the fact that i didn’t have to pay to list. it prompted me to list more because there was no loss other than the time it took to make a listing if something didn’t sell. and man, have i sold more items than i ever would have thought possible. yeah, there’s stuff that doesn’t sell, but i feel like i have a much better chance here than anywhere else. some of my items have sold in literal minutes of listing. i never write reviews for anything, but after listing something on a whim today and selling it (once again) before the end of the day, i have to commend you all for such an outstanding app. features are great, design is cohesive, listing is easy, and the customer base is there. love it! never change!!

I spent $500 on a laptop. It originally should have been here today and it was shipped but since last night Marketplace says the sale was cancelled, I got no notification from the seller or Marketplace that sale was cancelled and when just looking at my notifications even now the last update says it shipped until you try to click the order. Im not given the option to contact the seller anymore, our previous messages have disappeared and I’m no longer able to track it from this app. Usps says it’s still in transit but it’s been sitting in Macon, GA (literally only 30 minutes from my town) for almost 2 days now. If it was cancelled that’s fine I canniest from somewhere else but I haven’t gotten any money back, no notifications or emails letting me know something was changed and customer service hasn’t answered my emails and isn’t taking phone calls. This is ridiculous, I’m giving it until Monday before I call and have my bank reverse the charge for fraud.

this app is by far my favorite place to shop these days! I have found great deals and have worked with wonderful people on Marketplace. It’s so easy to buy and totally worry free. I feel safe. I even tried my hand at selling a little while I was home from work during quarantine, and it was incredibly easy! It seriously doesn’t get much simpler then this! I am NOT a tech savvy person at all and this was easy for me to sell on! It was an awesome opportunity to teach my 9 year old son some things about business, customer service and making/saving money! Highly recommend. He had some LEGO figures he did not want or already had and he has many more he wants for his collection. So he sold the ones he had doubles of and was able to purchase new Star Wars mini figures for his loved collection! Great lessons were learned, quality time spent together with him, and he got to earn the things he wanted! This is a no brainer !!! Try it out! I think you’ll love it too!

New review: after the recent update deleted the “everything” button, I feel like I see the same items every time I look for something. In addition, there are an excessive amount of advertisements on every page now. I feel like this app had something really great and they are getting away from it... might start looking for another app that does that this app used to... connect people to sell items... not just promote ads and a few businesses.

Used to say this: Great way to sell items without having to divulge any personal info i.e. Phone number or address. You can talk to buyers or sellers straight through Marketplace . The only issue is that sometimes Marketplace is slow to let you know someone has messaged, which can lead you to miss a sale. I also wish that there was a way to tell if you have already viewed an item and what the price is without clicking on it.

So I’ve been using Marketplace for a little while. Thought it was sort of awesome. Like eBay. You can sell unwanted quality items. You sell at your own price and can choose to pay for the shipping or have buyer pay shipping though things tend to sell faster if buyer pays for shipping. Who doesn’t love free shipping.

Last week I had my first issue using this app. I ordered an electronic and I had been tracking its travel to my location. It said it arrived but when I checked my house, it wasn’t there. I was very upset. But this week I went to the USPS and this app to get it straightened out. Nothing could be resolved but this app stood by its Buyers Guarantee and made things right. I will forever stick with this app. You guys really came through for me. Didn’t just take my money like I thought might happen. Definitely recommending Marketplace and service to EVERYONE. Highly recommended and well done with the quick customer service. (: A+!!

Shipping options are AWFUL. They cancel transactions on you randomly when they feel like it, even when they are already on the way to the buyer so you have to jump through hoops to get your stuff back before the buyer ends up getting things for free. They monitor your messages super closely to the point where it’s creepy and delete everything they deem inappropriate, so you can’t even exchange info with a buyer when something goes wrong you have to somehow go through them to fix it and god knows they’re awful at handling things. And if you want to simply switch a shipping label weight you have to cancel a whole transaction and start over. I’ve lost sales over this. I’m also pretty sure half the sellers are like 18 years old because I’ve gotten some immature buyers and sellers and had some pretty awful exchanges with them. I guess I’m going back to good old eBay, which doesn’t tend to attract that crowd and that’s just ONE nice bonus.

Total scam!!’ This company used to be great but now has just completely changed shipping and rates. It used to be easy and no messing with weight and measurements, today a total surprise and wasting extra time on listing before Black Friday is ridiculous! No customer support phone and email contact is next to impossible because they make you go through a list of previous sellers questions and it’s never my question so I have to just give up. I believe this is intentional on their part. Not only that but with the change they made by pressuring sellers to do free shipping so they make more money is just wrong! If there’s a return (I’ve had 2 in 3 years) they never tell you the reason. I’m not listing anything anymore because they take advantage of sellers. I’m so angry with Marketplace and I do not recommend it all. If you want to resale items then go to Poshmark, EBay, Etsy, Vinted, Tradesy, Offer Up, Craigslist just anything other than Marketplace!!!

I downloaded Marketplace a few weeks ago after quitting buying from Poshmark with their high shipping rate. I truly have purchased every day since! I had a customer service question, Juliet responded in seriously minutes. And she was understanding, attentive, didn’t make me go back and forth with tons of support agents, and all was handled quickly and efficiently. I’ve worked in customer service my whole life, so this definitely matters to me. Sellers on this app have been super nice and actually personalize deliveries, at least somehow I’ve lucked out and gotten little gifts or thank you cards with every order, and that’s a nice feeling honestly. Like it’s an actual shopping community in a way? Being able to search by free shipping and filter out what’s been sold already is a godsend. I mainly buy makeup on this app and it’s all been new, quality and really just changed how I shop now. I’m so glad I found Marketplace! And so is my makeup table.

Marketplace was my go to app to buy&sell items when I mean go to I was obsessed I left eBay OfferUp AliExpress 5miles I mean all for Marketplace until I’ve made a mistake yes I admit I made a crucial mistake (hey we humans!!) my mistake was I’ve sold something to a buyer an I shipped it to the wrong buyer my concern was at least I know I made the mistake but at least they should’ve contacted the buyer which is a current buyer and seller on here to tell them that I’ve shipped it to them by mistake and if they actually wanted the item that they would have to make correct payments or return the item because they have proof that it was delivered to them
But their response to me was basically was we understand you made a mistake but can not help you out in this situation because you’ve made the mistake not us ..?what a shame I really thought Marketplace was unique because of the great reviews but I guess once you’re human and made a mistake you’re on your own

I think this app should periodically send alerts every couple weeks to people to make sure they want their ad to be continually posted on this app and If the person doesn’t respond within a certain amount of days to confirm that they would like their post to still be up. Their post should be deleted for the sake of everyone else. I think 2-4 days is a fair time. People who are actually in need of a car or other item don’t have to stress when they find something nice and constantly message the person to see if it’s available but they never respond. It has happened to me more times than eggs in a carton and it’s frustrating.
Please take people’s comments concerns & ideas into consideration when fixing and adjusting your site to be the best it can.
Thank you this app for being the second best platform for selling and buying items...

Let me say I converted to this app because of their low selling fees and shipping charges. The shipping fees have gone up a little since I began but they are still an amazing deal, especially for large items, 3-10lbs for under $10!

I have over a hundred listings and over 100 - 5star reviews, I’ve been on Marketplace for about 7 months and have made several thousand dollars decluttering the house!

There are always features you wish were there but I believe they’re working on them. I’d like a way to bulk select items for discount, or a way to do it automatically after a set period of time. When you have over a hundred listings keeping up with them gets difficult especially when you have to go into each one individually... and especially when for some reason the screen automatically goes back to the top of the list after each change! Ugh. Also, a bundle feature and qty option would be amazing so I don’t have to relist and lose the likes that we’re in the items that sold.

Had to reach out to customer service a few times, sometimes it’s difficult to find a direct contact form for the issue I’m having, but if you search around enough you can find a form to contact them and describe your issue. Turnaround time for answers are always within 24 hours

Overall 5 starts for me as I know better things are coming!

I have been using Marketplace for quite some time both as a seller an buyer. As a seller, i have missed out on people who have messaged me through Marketplace and inquiring about the items. this app didn't email / text me on those inquiries. I find that the letgo app is better on informing you. As a buyer, I have inquired a lot of people on their items, and it ended up that most of the items were already sold. I wished that the items would be marked sold because it is such a waste of time. Also, there are scammers out there who would try to scam you. I had a bad experience where a seller already confirmed the time and place and ended up not showing at said time and place. Seller did not respond to messages/calls upon my arrival
on said meeting place, and this seller even has 5 star rating! There is no option to leave a feedback for seller's performance on Marketplace just a report user button.

I only say this because I feel that buyers and the people who do transactions on this app should be held to a higher standard or have their accounts suspended. I live in Northern NJ and most people that are using Marketplace are from NY but even around my way I will get tons of offers, tons of promises to pick up the item ( I am a seller) and they all cancel or just don’t respond when a deal and a meeting time is confirmed. I don’t know if it’s just my area but I think the conversations between buyer and seller should be analyzed so that in this case as a seller, I shouldn’t have to waste my time answering questions, negotiating a deal, holding on to an item that someone says they are going to get the next day and then they don’t show. Marketplace itself is great but if you are selling also put your item on Craigslist or EBay because Marketplace has only brought me people who waste my time.

I have been selling on this app for a couple months and am happy with it. It takes a 10% charge which is reasonable. Very easy to use and upload photos of items for sale. Their customer service is great. Quick and responsive; I’ve always had any issues resolved promptly and fairly. I’d prefer to get payed upfront and then have to refund the buyer assuming there was a problem. Rating every single time back and forth gets a bit tedious. I do like that the ratings reflect the number of positive transactions an individual has had through Marketplace . The set postal fees are much lower than shipping on one’s own, at least for any items over one pound. It makes shipping so much less stressful! Protection policies for buyer and seller are in place and work well. Overall, very happy with Marketplace . It’s my top selling platform right now.

I’m loving the newest updates! I have been consistently selling more here than other sites I use. I also shop here regularly. In the couple instances I needed customer support for purchases they were quick to help resolve the issues and both myself and the seller were happy with the outcomes.
My only suggestions:
-Increase the opportunity to transfer funds. Once a week is not sufficient.
- Bring back the photo editing features. I loved being able to add text to a photo. This is especially important since photos here do not have captions. Buyers have to actually click on a listing to see details. I also liked being able to rearrange my photos without having to delete and re-post just to edit the order.
-Some kind of feature for bundle purchases would be awesome.

BE CAREFUL, IT JUST HAPPENED TO ME!
I made a purchase several days ago and was checking to see when I was going to received when to my surprise Marketplace show that I already receive the item the day before! I check the mail, talk to the seller and in her app it show the same!
So we decided to contact this app. Unfortunately the answer was what worries me more because it made it clear that Jeremie didn’t really pay attention to my issue! He told me that was a “automated message”, I know what that look like and this was completely different, Marketplace SHOW THAT I HAVE THE ITEM, THE STATUS IS “DELIVERED” AND IT’S AWAITING RATING! As everybody knows after 3 days they can release payment.
So it could happened that they release the payment before you even have a chance not just to receive it, but to inspected and check that it is exactly what you paying for! What it worries me more it’s the dismissive and patronizing tone of the answer of the responsable parties, as I say before. So be careful! There is a lot of amazingly nice people out there, but there is also the ones that are waiting the chance to take advantage of every chance they get! OBVIOUSLY NOT GOING TO USE Marketplace ANYMORE AND DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYBODY TO DO IT!

I’ve been selling items on the this app App for 2 years and have NOT had one bad experience. A couple of things positive, this app only takes 10% and now when you go through a few steps to verify who you are, and a small fee, you can get paid immediately to your bank account once buyer has reviewed you and accepted your items. I would say the only thing which could use improving is the ability to manage your page and how items are arranged. You either have to list everything in each category back to back or all your items are just listed how you enter them. I find it a bit sloppy looking but I’m meticulous about organizing and how it appears to a buyer. At least you don’t have to share each item individually every day in order for your items to be seen and show up on search results. Make sure to be very descriptive in your title and your item will populate on a search. I don’t sell as much on Marketplace as other apps but when I do at least the majority of the money goes into my pocket not theirs.

I've been selling (and a little buying) since 2016. Never a single problem receiving my funds. I've sold online for 15 years and by far this app buyers are the very best! I really like the feedback system and the fast payments. I feel it's one of the safest marketplaces. Payments are never released to sellers until item is delivered. The buyer has 3 days to rate in order for finds to be released, if they don't this app will auto rate 5 stars and release your funds. I find most buyers rate right away upon receipt of their item(s). The only thing I would like to see is a this app debit card. Right now you can do direct deposit which takes a few days or Instant Pay, BUT with that option you can only transfer up to $500 per calendar month. Over $500 you must do direct deposit. A debit card that allows over $500 would be ideal. I always exceed the Instant Pay limit. Customer service is prompt and really helps resolve any issue you may have. Quick and courteous replies. Overall it's a super great place to buy and sell.

It randomly started acting up a few days ago and so I updated Marketplace then it wouldn’t work at all. All pictures were blurry and it wouldn’t let me click on anything. I couldn’t send or receive messages. So I logged out and deleted Marketplace and re-downloaded Marketplace to try and fix the issues but now it won’t even let me sign in. I’ve asked for help from the support 2 days ago and still have yet to hear from someone. I’ve sent several messages to the support trying to find help and no one helps. I’ve missed out on making purchases and selling items because of this.
I read a couple of forums and people have said that the support people don’t help or try and fix your problems and they are RIGHT!! I’ve tried for 2 days now to fix this or figure out what went wrong but no one will help. Some app this is. I will be deleting Marketplace and using another app instead. You lost my business.

I been using this app for a while to sell unwanted items that I've been accumulating over the years. Its very easy to use and they only charge 10% of the sales. I love that is seller/buyer safe. Also you can decide what shipping method to use and if you or the buyer is paying for it.
Now this app has an automatic 5 star rating when buyer received the item and do not rate you in three days. I love this new system because some people forget to do so and in this way you not only get your money release, but also receive a great rating.
Regarding returns, I have only experienced one. The buyer didn't return the item in the same condition, I file a claim and with the pictures I sent them they agreed with me and released the money too. Overall I love using this app. Its easy and great tool to sell stuff you don't want and make some money.

I’ve been using this app for roughly two years now and the improvements they’ve made are OUTSTANDING. They are always adding coupons to get money off already cheap items and the whole buying/selling is really easy. I love that there’s an offer option now, you can set the amount of shipping an item would cost, and you can message sellers directly instead of talk through comments. The two improvements I would suggest is to add trading so that sellers have a secure way of trading goods without being flagged for it & process deposits more than once a week so funds can be released faster. Other than that, it’s an awesome app and it only takes 10% off your transaction unlike Poshmark who takes 20. Recommend Marketplace 100%!!!!

Love Marketplace . A few irritating things about it is: when deleting off old listings that have sold, make it to where we can delete multiple at a time. Or at least, when we delete 1 item, we don’t have to start back at the very top afterwards. It is SUPER time consuming when you have hundreds of items listed, you delete 1 item and it takes you back to the top. Then you gotta scroll way down to the bottom or whatever. Also, can we start giving the people who don’t rate ‘bad ratings’, either from us sellers or from this app? Just like when buyers and sellers ‘cancel’? I’m so tired of having to wait 72 hours for my money when I ship same day usually. It’s frustrating. Love Marketplace though. It is getting better and better. 😃

I absolutely love Marketplace for selling and buying things. It’s super easy for the buyer and seller. One thing that annoys me a lot is with the like-ing system. When you unlike somethig in the “like category”, it brings you all the way back to the beginning (Very minor bug). Another thing is that I wish they had like a place where you could categorize the things you’ve liked so it’s easier to look back at something. Something else is like a search bar in the like-ing category so you can easily find stuff you’ve liked and also when something you’ve liked has been sold they should notify you. Lol I know this is a lot but these are just some adjustments I advice making.

this app is the best then head that has happened to me in a long time. There’s so many things that I needed and I couldn’t afford, and with Marketplace this app it has been a blessing to my life as well as my adult kids and my extended family and friends. I’m gonna fix income so it’s hard for me to be able to get certain things that are necessary for myself to commute back-and-forth as well as other things. I love Marketplace its so streamlined and well put together it makes the resale business so fun and easy. I love how personal u can get with the ppl u deal with and u can actually build business relationships. I would recommend this to anyone who looks to get rid of things u wouldn’t imagine u could sale and put extra cash in your account. I like how u can use the promote your sales for a small convenience fee and put your items up front so ppl can see them. Soon as u post your items u can monitor the views and likes and even offer the likers private sales. It’s an overall great app I would 100 percent recommend...

I am just barely new at this app but eventually i got sales! it’s an easy to buy and sell app. Unlike other app, this app is simple and fast. most prices sre reasonable, affordable and cheap. I got a problem with the shipment, and they respond to me quickly! and other apps, I noticed they took out your list for some reason without your knowledge. hopefully Marketplace will not. I advise people before going out to shop especially those who live in suburbs like me, just check on at this app first maybe you can find something you needed at an affordable price! and you can save time and gas. The shipping fee is still worth. More power this app!

As a top seller on Marketplace with over 950 (would be 1,300 if the buyers had rated lol) ratings, I can assure any & all buyers (especially those seeking Victoria’s Secret & Other name brands, shoes, & even lap tops) that Marketplace is an excellent & safe place to shop & sell.

The admin itself is very quick to respond, more than happy to assist & friendly. They have had my back many, many times (everyone has to learn to walk before we crawl, after all..yeah..I goofed once or twice lol).

It’s a great app & far out performs all others which I have used. Don’t let any negative reviews fool you - those are usually left by people whom are either impatient or quick to judge.

Unfortunately this app does not fulfill there duty as a responsible shipping platform. I was offered a prepaid shipping option. I printed the label and was told by the post office I could not send by air because it was perfume. When I reported to this app expecting them to take responsibility and send me a new label for not notifying me what can and cannot be shipped with there prepaid label. They responded with “sorry we cannot refund nor give you a new label” in my opinion terrible customer service for both the seller and buyer. I would at least expect them to take responsibility for not informing the seller first, sad to see what lack of care they have to correct there mistake.

I first came on here to sell stuff. Then I started getting addicted to buying stuff. this app is smart before you couldn’t shop with your balance, but now that they added that feature I buy everything on there. I had 3 bad experiences, but I made over 75 purchases so that’s not bad. I also sold over 100 things! It’s easy to list and sell. this app is sooo fun and I’m not getting paid to write this. I even referred my sister and she made over $1500 in less than a month! I highly recommend this site over any other site to sell your things. Plus they only charge 10% of each sale when other apps charge 15-20%. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I love this app, it’s one of my favorite places to look for used items like furniture or household items. However, I do recommend so changes to improve the user experience. I find it inconvenient while scrolling to check each listing for the price. It would be wonderful if the prices were listed on the thumbnail so that I can easily sort between what is in my budget. Additionally, adding swipe features (swipe down to exit, etc) would allow for easier app navigation. Overall, I won’t stop using Marketplace but those would definitely help with accessing more within Marketplace !

I have purchased off of this app before and that always went well. Selling on this app has been a different experience. First off I have been tried with scam artists which I’m smart enough to know the difference. It’s really annoying!! Also half the people who inquired don’t show up or don’t even have the decency to call or offer an explanation! That’s life ...
The ones who did show up took a look around and wound up purchasing a lot more than what they came for- some items I did not yet get around to posting. All in all the experience has been pretty effective . Thanks

This is by far the best platform I’ve used to sell items. The developers seem to have kept in mind the dangers of face to face selling in person and the hassles of complex online selling platforms such as eBay where time consuming and strict conditions are in place . This is just perfect for even non experienced folks who’ve never sold before and perfect for experienced people who need to sell items quickly . Listing on this app literally just takes 5-15 seconds whereas on eBay 3-5 minutes per item. The award winning feature of Marketplace is sending you prepaid labels instantly saving u time at post office . Of course it also has its downsides too which hopefully this app will fix . For example it’s not designed for low priced items $5 or less unless you are ok with making less than a $1 profit after shipping and commission . They can incorporate more delivery carriers for competitive advantage that can pass savings on to users . The photos can only be taken in portrait mode which isn’t ideal for many products that need landscape mode . But overall still a great app and a winner in my books.

I have had a lot of trouble with returns on items that were in worse condition than described. The help center rep will tell you you should have asked questions prior to buying, even though an item may have been listed as good condition and no flaws are mentioned or visible in photos. If there’s undisclosed flaws, well, “you should have asked questions”. Then on top of that, the help center rep will complete your transaction for you, so that you can’t even leave the seller negative feedback to warn other buyers. Thank you, Jade the super polite help center rep, for informing me that the black paint smears all over my new wicker shelf are considered “good” condition, and for closing up the transaction on me. That’s not my only bad experience, I had to fight to get a return on a dress that was sold to me under the wrong brand and size. I barely got that return approved. Buyer beware. It is not easy.

this app was the first selling app I ever used, at first it was just causal, to sell things I didn't use or wear anymore. I eventually decided to dabble in Depop and Poshmark. While this app sells a much broader variety of things, and can make it hard to sell specific items, its payment process and overall selling process is so simple. It is all handled in app, no going through PayPal like Depop. The shipping labels are created in Marketplace , and everything is spelled out right away for you. There is no confusion like other apps. The selling fee is pretty low, only 10%, and by not going through PayPal it eliminates the extra 2.9% + 30¢ that PayPal takes. It's all so simple and clean, I truly love it. My only pet peeve with Marketplace is that once a listing is inactive or cancelled, you can no longer message your buyer. But other than that, great app!

I like this app because it's convenient, made my first sale and the interface is nice and easy to navigate. I suggested allowing more than 4 photos and I saw it was added as an enhancement. Yay (but probably more people asked for this). With the new update, I can visit Marketplace again instead of going to the browser. Recently, I purchased items that were fake but I had checked the photos and the description. I was worried I wouldn't be able to receive my refund. this app Customer Service was with me every step of the way and my refund is on its way back to me. I have to say Marketplace has definitely improved since its inception. When it was first out, I was skeptical and I'd been burned and trying it a year or 2 later, so much IMPROVEMENT! Thank you for this wonderful platform!

I LOVE this app! I have found it to be the most user friendly and streamline resale APP out there! Having used Marketplace along with a handful of other popular resale APPs, this app is hands down my favorite for various reasons! First off as both a buyer and as a seller, I am very happy with the simplicity and ease it provides on both ends. Marketplace allows you to search and save searches and products very easily, the search filters are hey simple and helpful. Marketplace allows you to know who and where your products are coming from and what else that seller is selling. The purchasing and selling options are set up very smoothly, allowing you to instantly purchase items as well as make an offer, in a message like forum for fast review. The purchasing and shipping are simplistic and hassle free!

Great app and easy to use. I’m a first time seller and I saw this app being recommended by various collectors and youtubers, I started out buy buying and then selling. Super easy and I was overwhelmed by how fast everything sold. A lot of safety measures involved to ensure both the buyer and seller are protected. Many people are upset by these measures, but they don’t realize this is not some ridiculous way to make things hard on them. Most reviews are not accurate as this app is super easy to use and user friendly. I love this app!

Feedback: maybe enable a feature to have a reply feature to reviews? (I’ve received a couple bad reviews with comments of things that aren’t true) I wish I could put in a seller reply on the ratings page so future buyers could know I care about buyers and not scare them away.

I have purchased a few things off this app since downloading Marketplace . Although I’m not one to sell my things, my sister has been selling on this app for YEARS and she has made quite a bit of money from her used things. I am very impressed with some of the small business owners on here that normally sell on Etsy. I just purchased a face mask from a woman who made them and the quality is OUTSTANDING.

My first purchase was a 9 year old Alienware computer that someone had updated and replenished. If you calculate the value plus how much I paid, I saved 75% off the original value.

I like Marketplace a lot. Lots of things are brand new with free shipping, lots of things are used and like a big garage sale.

Okay so to start this out, is not about me buying off of this app for what I lost a while ago. A couple Months ago on eBay I found a really nice original graphic set for my dirtbike, and within a week of about to purchase it, it went unavailable. Flash forward 5 months of constant searching and asking companies IF they could make them, with no luck... now today, scrolling through this app I saw an ebay ad, it was my graphic set that I lost 5 months ago. I am seriously in debt to this app for helping me out with my vintage dirtbike restoration for this one. Also buyers and sellers on this app are a LOT nicer than other websites/apps!

When I first downloaded Marketplace I didn’t think of it as anything special. It’s a great concept but whatever. I was working full time at a job that paid so-so. I created a post that offered my services just looking for some side work and before I knew it I was busy, not just full time busy, but overwhelmed. I now work completely off of Marketplace. I’ve had to hire help on several occasions. Of course I do quality work and word of mouth has helped tremendously but this is where I started. I got business cards, insurance, T-shirt’s made, and a part time employee. I’m a freaking business owner! Thank you this app. Ten stars!!!

Trying to stay on a budget while moving completely across country, furnishing a new apartment, new winter wardrobe for my 4th grader since we came from a southern state, and a brand new baby girl on the way, is NOT easy. But Marketplace has helped me is SO many ways. Love it!!! I’ve had great experiences with every seller, it’s been super quick and the pictures/descriptions have been completely accurate. Prices are amazing, especially if you wait it out and watch what pops up. I’ve missed a few of my favorites due to no funds, but there’s always a new selection coming through. Whoever created this was spot on!!!!

I love Marketplace, I've bought numerous items throughout the last few years. My only complaint would be the ridiculous upchargers (there are tons). Most of us know the items that are out there also prices. The biggest thing on this app in my opinion is the people who sell Dollar tree items for $13 plus for one item... ? I research everything I purchase and charging this much is beyond ridiculous. Just make sure you know what you are buying, question the seller to make sure you are 100% clear on what you are puchasing, and don't settle if it's not what you thought you were buying...

this app would be ten times better i if everyone was a verified member and there wasn’t allowed any fakes or frauds. Usually my inventory would be flying for sale, but recently it’s been laying going nowhere due to all these fake people mole on here like collectors and whomever else that don’t belong on here, I haven’t made a sale on here because it seems as if someone is telling people not to buy anything, it’s just not the same, I can tell you this, is make this site one hundred percent better if given the opportunity but Opportunity has been taken away like most of our civil rights Americans give away each day. I’m a fighter and a person who stands up for what I believe in, I’m not someone who just takes the easy way out, those people are all the people who were the mistakes coming in. I’m 36 looking for a job, profession I know I can build and help rise, so if any job opportunities are available please let me know, sorry I can’t see my writing for some reason but how fully this finds someone with authority or in charge of hiring or building this app to be a much better site, I’m sure your fully capable of doing it yourself but a little help from the right person(s) would never hurt. I’m sooo happy I got Marketplace!! It’s way way better than poshmark!! On Marketplace you can choose your shipping price or if you want to ship items yourself and offer free shipping!! Which is another bonus, you can search items that have free shipping ? And the two big factors, for me, of why Marketplace is better than poshmark is, poshmark takes sooo much of the money from a sale you make and this app will only take the smallest amount (a far amount) which I’m so grateful for! So this app please never change that!! Also, on poshmark you have to constantly be interacting to get a sale.. it’s so so hard! & don’t have time for it! this app is so much easier to make a sale! So all in all Marketplace is the bomb!

I like the system where they ship and you don’t have to meet up with anyone. Only problem I have is the fees they take. I can understand a selling fee of 10%, but charging you a fee to take the money you earned? That’s just not right. A $2 fee just to transfer it to your bank. If your balance is only $3, you only get $1 of it. You’re starting to turn into another EBay with charging fees. Isn’t the point of the 10% fee so you can make money off Marketplace ? When you start charging more fees, you will get greedier and greedier and no one will want to use Marketplace . I’ll try Marketplace for about a month and see how it is. If nothing changes, I’m going to stop and go back to meeting up with people or use EBay.

This is the best app to sell on. The customer service is amazing and response super fast. Another reason why I think Marketplace is the best is because I sold an item to someone, I wrapped the item in a lot of bubble wrap and packaged it with care I even had the mail place put fragile all over the package and it still broke in route to my buyer and I still received my sale even though this app had to refund my buyer. This company is awesome. I’ve sold and made over $400 items and I’ve bought things on Marketplace and I have absolutely no complaints. Oh and you get paid quick as soon as your item is received the person reviews it and your money is in your account.
