TAPLA is decent for adding a virtual tap card to tour wallet and paying fare through that. Aside from that, the search bar is unresponsive, it doesn’t usually load bus times for routes, and when you can get a list of stops for a route you have to figure out what “Inbound/Outbound” means otherwise you could end up referencing the time for the wrong direction. Frankly, just use google maps if you wanna plan a trip, since it also tracks the metro buses.

This is an absolute nightmare to use. I am CONSTANTLY disappointed and frustrated by this program, as no matter where I am, no matter how connected I absolutely am to the internet, this blasted app refuses to connect and it refuses to let me even see bus times as a result. I used to use TAPLA to get to work quite often, as it saved me having to pay for Lyft and whatnot, and I never had these sorts of issues until TAPLA started going completely haywire about a month ago, but now it’s so unreliable and pathetic that I basically can’t use it anymore. My life is significantly more stressful and hard as a result. Don’t throw a canned response at me. Don’t PR me, Cubic. FIX THE ISSUE. STOP PLAYING AROUND. YOU’RE ACTIVELY RUINING MY LIFE WITH THIS.

Ive tried 2 different cards I know have balances on them and are fully functional but both times when trying to register on TAPLA it says “card has already been registered” other than this TAPLA has been fine.

While I love TAPLA and it has been great the last few weeks, today it just won’t let me add fares on to my card. It keeps giving me an error message saying the transaction failed. Tried deleting and re-downloading, signed in and out, nothing. Please fix this. I love TAPLA , but would like this bug to be addressed.

TAPLA doesn’t even work. It scans for fare boxes, but never succeeded in actually paying. I’ve tried about a dozen times now; it just doesn’t work.

Now, my money is trapped inside a virtual, NON-REFUNDABLE card. And the only way to pay my fares is to buy a new physical card and pay a fee to have the balance transferred.

Customer service is also useless, so don’t even waste your time.

Whenever I try to add some fare to my tap card on my phone, it takes up to 2 minutes to load and then hit me with the “sorry, we cannot load your products.” This has been happening for months now. Would’ve thought metro would’ve fixed this issue, since they stupidly added fares back.

I love how much TAPLA made it so easy to keep track on my cards!! I would absolutely recommend to everyone!

Can’t see the icons at the bottom of the screen because the bottom bar covers them. Other than that it’s fine.

I got stranded in Downtown Long Beach at 10pm after my job. Tap app showed I had a balance, but the driver refused to let me ride because my card was saying reload even tho TAPLA said I had $10. I’ve had many hiccups with TAPLA. But not functioning in this way is unacceptable. I cannot believe I had to ride a scooter 8miles home because of this.

I absolutely cannot get TAPLA to take my money or to respond to anything I put $10 on it and it has that I have a 00 balance they need to do something about this it’s at least a blue bus response to something this is just absolutely a terrible app I am really complaining about this yeah

I was checking my tap cards and it forced me to log out and now I can’t log back in , loading screen takes too much time it won’t show the log in menu, I would not recommend TAPLA if it still buggy and laggy, I don’t know why TAPLA even exist

TAPLA should let me pay for rides on my phone, but after giving it 25, it says my account is empty. Luckily the impatient bus drivers are nice enough to let me ride for free, but this shouldn’t have to be the case. It has potential and should work in theory, but obviously isn’t well-made. More evidence of LA’s tragic public transit.

I haven’t able to update my card on my new phone and it is causing trouble. Customer service is only open am certain hours so they are not helpful as well. Neither is the bus driver.

My app does not work at all. I don’t even have the option to add a new tap card. I couldn’t transfer my plastic tap card to TAPLA either. Couldn’t purchase anything from the cart section. What is wrong with TAPLA

I have been trying to load money on my tap card and keep getting error messages. This is frustrating and makes TAPLA useless. Fix this!!!

TAPLA is really bad, it’s unresponsive, not returning any search results, and definitely did not assist me in any way with purchasing transit fare. Deleting.

TAPLA stole my money and charged me twice.

Dont use TAPLA. Just be old fashioned and use the vending machines

I mostly take L.A. Metro since I’m too lazy to drive , besides L.A. Metro, I take Montebello Bus Lines or Foothill Transit to get to my destination and TAP can easily help me manage money and passes. But now, it is more useful since I can just look at TAPLA to manage the Stored Value instead of checking it at a Bus Station, Metro Rail, or logging in to the TAP website, TAPLA makes it easier and faster for me to check if I have any money left or if I need to buy passes for the month, again, it is fast and easy to navigate

One of problem is that I can’t find any of the bus stops for Montebello Bus Lines on the map that they provided, same goes for google maps, I keep having to go on to their website and check when it is arriving, when I could easily look around on one map and see the connections and if I could make it to transfer to the other bus, instead of having to switch apps continuously, hopefully they will fix it

My last problem, which isn’t that big of a deal, is the inbound/outbound memo. I can’t tell which direction it is, for example, if the direction says Northbound/Southbound | Eastbound/Westbound, it would make it so much easier to understand

Other than these two problems, I have no problem navigating TAPLA
