Buyer beware

Make sure you are purchasing the correct bike... manual vs ebike. They all look like e bikes until you try to ride it. App looses connection often and you aren’t able to contact anyone at the help center.

Super accurate

Very reliable

Lacks disclosure of fee for AD free option

BEWARE...App doesn’t disclose a service fee will be charged until AFTER selecting disabling the feature. Maze of invalid processes or urls exists when attempting to contact Apple or vendor support requesting assistance.

Doesn’t work

When I try to unlock a bike it just says “We apologize, something went wrong. Please try again.”

By

Horrible

Do not use this service. The kiosks are overcomplicated to use and the 24 hour pass is very misleading. 24 hours = $7???? That's what I thought until I checked my bank statement and was charged an outrageous $54. I can rent a car cheaper then that! I mean c'mon. And seriously how far can you travel in 30 minutes when your waiting over 15 for the others in the party to rent their bikes. Will not be using this service again. Two stars because the bikes were easy to ride and were comfortable.

Doesn’t work

Doesn’t work. Says “locating” the entire time and never loads anything.

By

SCAM.

Do not download. It’ll charge you automatically .99 when you chose to “hide the ads”. Do not download.

Doesnt work

App keeps crashing, meanwhile my partner is riding around in circles laughing at me. Thanks 👎🏾👎🏾

Really good!

Please ignore the reviewer who asked for turn by turn... That makes no sense and the last thing this city needs is more divvy riders checking their phones while riding.

I like the idea of an in app purchase to remove the ads and I'm happy to pay for good apps that are well thought out. You should make it more clear that it cost $0.99 to turn the ads off. All it did was prompt me to enter my password which is a little disingenuous and I'm sure there are people who do so without know it cost money.

Overall, I love the ease of use of ChicagoBikesAOneTapDivvyBikeApp. I can tell the goal was an app that can present all the necessary information just by launching ChicagoBikesAOneTapDivvyBikeApp (no taps) and you did that. Kudos!

Review the app, not Divvy

Ignore the low ratings posted here as they are for Divvy and not ChicagoBikesAOneTapDivvyBikeApp, which is great. Love the design and ease of use. You can do it one-handed while coasting on your bike.

Yes, Divvy can be confusing for the uninitiated who are trying to just rent and go. If you're not a monthly Divvy subscriber with a Divvy key fob, you have do have to take some time to read instructions and pay for your bike...about as much time as it takes to use the new parking kiosks on Chicago streets. I think the 30 min rent time is actually fine since no bike station is more than a 10 min ride away.

Great help, battery hog

Was super helpful finding nearest kiosk and gave accurate if imprecise directions (I could figure out "240 yds northwest" but I'm not sure directionally challenged folks could).

The one-button 30 minute timer is a nice touch even though you could just as easily set a voice alarm every time you swapped up at a kiosk which I did so I didn't need to keep ChicagoBikesAOneTapDivvyBikeApp running all the time. It's a battery hog.

It's free if you accept push ads but I feel like the least I could do it give them 99 cents for their troubles. If it saved me just one overtime fee it more than paid for itself.

Extremely Useful

ChicagoBikesAOneTapDivvyBikeApp is extremely useful for all Divvy Users - tourists, occasional riders, and avid users. A timer is available so you know how long you can ride. I especially like the feature that shows how many docks/bikes are available at a station since I've been burned many times. Best of all, ChicagoBikesAOneTapDivvyBikeApp is free.

However, I am only giving this app 4 stars because it can use your location at all times. I highly suggest developers considering allowing users to allow location services only while ChicagoBikesAOneTapDivvyBikeApp is in use.

By

Tracks your location in the background

Either wants to track your movements or at all time or you need to turn off location tracking making ChicagoBikesAOneTapDivvyBikeApp useless. When you click give feedback instead of letting you message them reminds you they're not affiliated with divvy and sends the divvy website

The perfect app for divvy

ChicagoBikesAOneTapDivvyBikeApp is exactly what an advid divvy rider needs. Open ChicagoBikesAOneTapDivvyBikeApp and you immediately can find the closest station, and find out if t has bikes or docks left. To plan your route the map is a tap away. I've used it countless red lights to find my next dock. Would recommend to ride!!!! New to divvy or a veteran in bike sharing!

Great! But Inaccurate?

I love divvy, and ChicagoBikesAOneTapDivvyBikeApp is intuitive and easy to use.

It is interesting that I was prompted to review it as I checked ChicagoBikesAOneTapDivvyBikeApp standing at a divvy stop with one open slot as ChicagoBikesAOneTapDivvyBikeApp said there were 7 open!

Overall great app. 4 stars only because I can't get audio turn by turn directions, but I gotta assume that's coming, right?

New version of app has a big BUG

Just downloaded the new version of ChicagoBikesAOneTapDivvyBikeApp. The big 🐜 BUG is that if you press "Divvy Bike" to try to sign in, there's a banner across the top that says "Done", which blocks the 3-bar icon that allows you to login. So you can't get to the login page. Duh. Plus it was too difficult to find where the login page is to begin with and live phone support was not familiar with ChicagoBikesAOneTapDivvyBikeApp . She suggested I go to the Apple Store for help!

Inaccurate Dock #s

Easy to use and convienet for locating divvy locations but seems to always be at least 1-2 docks over how many there actually is. This led my fiancé and I to ride around for an extra 15 minutes to docks where ChicagoBikesAOneTapDivvyBikeApp said there was 2 open and really there was 0. Even when I refreshed as I was standing there it still said there was some open.

12% battery usage?!

App is fine. But it uses background location even when you're not using it, and app creators haven't bothered giving the option of using location only when using ChicagoBikesAOneTapDivvyBikeApp .
ChicagoBikesAOneTapDivvyBikeApp consistently uses more battery than chrome which I use all the time. Fix the broken app plz

It's 2014

There's no reason for a bike finding app to make noises every single time you tap the screen in 2014. We've come a long way in UX, and the consensus is that annoying, useless sounds that don't convey any useful feedback to the user are a no-go. Yep, you can turn the sounds off, but I shouldn't have to hunt for that and continue annoying those around me while I do.
