Bad gateway to virtual care- it gives a 404 error. Of course, no one you can call and talk to on the weekends. Now I’m stuck with two kids with fevers and have to pay money to have them seen by a Dr. when virtual care through your app is supposed to be FREE! This is such a JOKE considering how much we pay for insurance.
It’s hard to rate MyBlueKC because it has never opened. All the features in the world mean nothing if it never gets past the opening splash screen. What a waste of space.
I can’t use MyBlueKC at all it keeps telling me login or password are wrong but they are correct. I have to sign in the long way using the wrong ID and password MyBlueKC says is wrong. Why have a app if it doesn’t work
I downloaded MyBlueKC so I wouldn’t have to go through the website. The first thing it tells you to do is go to the website to create an account. What’s the point of MyBlueKC then? Delete….
MyBlueKC crashes when you try to log in. I can’t get into the website either. This has happened several times. Please fix it, so I can access my information.
MyBlueKC has never been user friendly. The lag time to open MyBlueKC takes forever, sometimes not opening at all. Even to pay a bill and change out the payment method is ridiculous. Do better.
Features of MyBlueKC clearly don’t work. The directories are limited, and the associated web applications they take you too are also barely functional.
As another reviewer mentioned, virtual care does not work. If you manage to make it to the waiting room for a doctor (which itself was quite difficult), you will find that after waiting for 30 minutes, you are unable to actually connect to the doctor.
It looked like I was still charged for the visit, so I contacted customer support. The response was a copy paste answer about the solution I spent 30-40 minutes figuring out on my own (some mobile browsers are not supported).
If they know some browsers are not supported, why not tell me before I begin the process? As someone who is sick, this was an extremely frustrating experience. A chain of prompts and forms that should have taken 5 minutes somehow took 45.
With the new update MyBlueKC isn’t even loading. I checked their website and even that isn’t working… someone in the IT department needs to be looking at this issue. I guess I’ll be calling in for questions regarding my account. Not happy! If I could rate zero stars I would!
In the past we’ve used the this app app for virtual care and it worked pretty well. At the moment it is crashing right when you begin the appointment. This means you never get to speak with a doctor and it goes straight to the “how would you rate your provider” screen. Hope they can get this fixed soon!
I have an updated iPhone and MyBlueKC suddenly no longer works. I’m unable to get MyBlueKC to even open for me. I used it at the beginning of this year and had a decent experience. For the past couple of months, however, MyBlueKC simply doesn’t load. I’ve installed and reinstalled it multiple times.
I am unable to view the EOBs in MyBlueKC on an iPhone 15. I used to be able to. App is next to worthless without this functionality.
Once I click o virtue care nothing loads or it will kick me out and make me login again. Can’t use MyBlueKC . When I used it a while back it was awesome to have. But don’t know what happened. Please fix problem soon.
The ID card function to download the card or email the card is broken. It crashes MyBlueKC when you block on the button. Also I think MyBlueKC would really benefit from Apple Wallet compatibility. I think Wallet compatibility would make MyBlueKC worth it.
Tried to use the virtual care feature several times and it crashes when it is time for the appointment to begin. Everything seems fine in the virtual waiting room, but it crashes and goes straight to the review screen rather than the actual appointment. This needs to be fixed ASAP. I see other reviews mentioning the same problem which points to a bug in the software.
App having troubles loading /for a few weeks. Stays stuck on making secure connection. Tried to open on Android and Apple devices with no luck.
Other Blue Cross Blue Shield groups offer the ability to create iOS wallet passes for ID cards, not sure why this one doesn't.
Easy to use. Everything is where you would think it should be. The ID card is the best function of them all. Good to have everything in one place.
App design feels native, animations are smooth. Works with FaceID login, it’s easy to OAuth to your HSA, and there’s a lot of other options. Good job on MyBlueKC .
I have used dozen of different insurance apps throughout the year and this has been the best of all. For me, the simplicity is key so it can be easy to find all the information I need for all medical needs. It’s also easy to navigate. I highly recommend using MyBlueKC to find the info instead of waiting on the phone. I wish all the other app can be this simple to use and the design is also on point.
