JBLPartyBox works as intended pretty well, I’ve only had a couple minor hiccups where it lost connection to my partybox mid song.

However, it is imperative that JBL update JBLPartyBox to include an EQ. Most of the competitors have it, and I like to use the partybox as a budget portable PA speaker for small events. A good EQ would make all the difference in the world to bring these devices into a bigger audience.

Another feature that would be huge would to have the option to adjust microphone volume from JBLPartyBox , but that may require some hardware modification on the speakers.

JBLPartyBox is perfect and very smooth but I suggest for you guys to add to both PARTYBOX and Connect app that u add a turn off feature especially when using connect a multi shut off or single speaker

JBLPartyBox is ok but they definitely needs an equalizer and maybe let you customize the lights more to your liking. It should also let you know if your speaker is up to date instead of just telling what version it’s on. the reason I said it need an equalizer is because this speaker can sound muffled at times and that eq that’s on the speaker and JBLPartyBox is only for karaoke and not for anything else so please enable those equalizer for regular music listening too it would help out a lot.

JBLPartyBox works fine for me. Always connects. My main problem is that I don’t feel it’s feature rich enough. If there was more light customization, which I know they could do, I would rate it way higher. The speaker is great. But this needs more lighting features for sure. Like, why can I not just have the light ring just one solid color instead of flashing?

I love this speaker so much only thing is I need another one two stands two mics a screen for words to sing along. One of the best purchases of my life

I have a JBL party-box 710 and it awesome but I can’t connect it to the JBL party-box app. All it say is connect Bluetooth and I’m allready connected. I’ve restarted my device, re installed JBLPartyBox and reset the speaker. When I tried it on a different device it connected to JBLPartyBox . I don’t understand what’s wrong. Oh and can there be an equalizer. Thanks

Works how it should wish there were more controls for color or quality of sounds but connects easily on my PartyBox 310 so it works how it should

I love this speaker. I use it to run trivia and karaoke nights at a local bar as well as personal use. I highly recommend.

In order for JBLPartyBox to work you must have the JBL party box 310. Some people just don’t know how firmware works. App does exactly what you want it to do. Simple.

Agree with other reviews. There should be way more light customizations. Here are some ideas: static solid color, solid color changing, static multi color, multi color changing, multi color changing rotating. There are so many more possibilities than what's available

Why can’t I simply turn the strobe flashers or the general light show off from JBLPartyBox ? Why isn’t there a “chill” light show? Maybe just have the light go as it does when music isn’t playing.

When playing music other than Rap or EDM you’d want something to just be subtle. Seems like a missed opportunity.

My brother in law has the partybox 100 and I love it. Then I bought the 310 snd shakes the world! Best thing I ever bought. Well worth the money!

I have tried everything they suggested and can not get my part box device connected with JBLPartyBox . JBLPartyBox keeps searching and never finds the device…I even reinstalled JBLPartyBox multiple times but nothing works.. not sure how to make this thing work anymore

My iPhone thirteen promax never successfully loads JBLPartyBox . I never see the “Getting ready” screen. It only connects as an audio source. No control over lights or karaoke or DJ functions. All my other Apple devices and old phones have no problem running JBLPartyBox . What gives?? 🙁

Just purchased the 300 series and expected JBLPartyBox to work with it. I agree with earlier review. Why launch an App for the 310 series when it’s not out yet and why doesn’t the 300 series work with JBLPartyBox . I paid $500 for a speaker and have no remote control functionality? ☹️

The JBL partybox delivered the crunching bass and sweet visuals I was looking to add to my home gym. Definitely recommend to anyone thinking about purchasing!

I’ve paired my new PARTYBOX 310 by Bluetooth which was perfect but then whenever I launch JBLPartyBox it keeps saying that it can’t find the speaker. I even unpaired the speaker to try to pair it again but still the same issue .

I expected JBLPartyBox of being capable to connect to my jbl party box 100, but unfortunately it isn’t available. In my opinion I think JBLPartyBox should be available for every party box speaker.

My biggest complaint is that when I try to change the color of the lights it flashes that color for a second then goes back to cycling through all the colors. LAME! And I bet they won’t ever update JBLPartyBox either.

When it will be compatible with Partybox 1000?

Why its not support partybox 300

You should change app name to partybox 310!
