I really enjoy this product. You can download more than the four set that are preloaded. I wish that JBL would create a more interactive styles of effects. Maybe it could spell out words. Or you could control the grid of LEDs in the Pulse. Over all it has great sound and it's a really fun light display. I'm quite happy with this purchase.

I have a speaker that’s a few years old called the On Beat Awake and lately it would let me connect wirelessly through Bluetooth and then all of a sudden it’d stop playing music but on my streaming device it said it was still playing. I downloaded your app to see if maybe there was an update and it said there wasn’t one but then it said to update it so I clicked on it and on my speaker it said up 9 and then on my device it said to unplug since it wasn’t updating, I unplugged it and plugged it back in and NOW IT WON’T TURN ON...bruh help!!!

I love this. I love the speaker, it has such a good sound and its features are great too, along with JBLMusic . The only thing it that I tried to get the update for the new light effects, it doesn't make sense. I have no idea how to. At least give a little bit more specific on how to. I'm tired of the old light effects, and I can't get the new ones, it stinks, help please!

Loved JBLMusic and speaker until the recent Apple update and now I cannot use JBLMusic with my speaker because JBLMusic needs to update to work with iOS 11. I am hoping an update is in the works so I don’t have to buy a different brand of speaker; because it’s pointless to have a speaker that I can’t use all the features to. Please let me know what you plan to do as my speaker still sounds wonderful and I don’t need a new one I just want to be able to control it from JBLMusic again.

I like JBLMusic! It allows to me to be able to hear what’s playing on my iPad so much better!!

However, I have a question for you: Why does the Bluetooth turn itself on? I have gone to the settings for my iPad and turned it off several times. And then powered off my iPad. Each time the Bluetooth is automatically turned back on when I power up my iPad. Why? I know assuming is not always the smart thing to do, BUT, I assume that if something is set to off when the iPad is powered off it should remain off until I turn it back on. My irritation is because having the Bluetooth on all the time runs the battery of the iPad down very quickly!

Please help me to understand why this happens.

I had JBLMusic on my old phone, and it had 10 patterns to choose from. I was able to access JBLMusic and choose 5 presets at a time. Now that i got an iphone, JBLMusic seems to not function properly. I had to download it multiple times just to get the original 5 patterns, and now that's all i have access to. I enjoyed the other ones much more and really miss having them. 😞

So I’ve had my JBL Pulse speaker for less than 2yrs now and have been left in the dark because you will not update a new version to work with iOS11. You’ve only developed a compatible app for use with JBL PULSE 3 and above...Why?! should I be forced to buy a new product when the one that I have is in perfect condition. JBL “Connect” your other app for compatible JBL speakers is useless to me.

Please update JBLMusic so I can have use of all my features for this speaker!

JBLMusic hasn't been updated in over a year so only minimal features of JBLMusic are compatible with iOS 12. i really want to use JBLMusic for my JBL Pulse but my phone runs iOS 12.1.3 and the last app update was for when iOS 11 was released. please optimize it for the current iOS so that the people with it who would like to use the application can actually access all the features.

Picked up a jbl pulse for my workplace and I couldn't be more happier. My coworkers give me compliments on the sound and the light effects on this speaker. I hope you guys add more light effects to keep it fresh. Overall I love this product!

Ive had JBLMusic for a few months on my iPhone. I was able to download the extra patterns, but they disappeared and now I only have 5. Also the 5 I have are questions marks, and doesn't even say what pattern it is. I deleted JBLMusic , reinstalled it. That fixed the problem for 5 minutes but then it did it again so. Fix this please.

Great app. But got an alert from  that it needs to be updated or will not work with future versions of iOS. Hope one is in the works if not please update for future iOS.

Really like everything about it, I think on JBLMusic it would be better if you could turn it off from your phone

Whoever made the decision to greenlight the update to ios11... THANK YOU! Works perfectly. Now my pulse is alive and well for another few years. Woohoo! 5 stars for that alone. App ain’t too bad either.

I have the JBL Pulse two and have JBLMusic on my iPhone 6plus. The light effects cannot be controlled from this application as claimed and the picture accompanying this application here is a hoax. I am surprised such an important function of the speaker has been left out in the deign of JBLMusic and despite customer complaints, is not being fixed. Disappointing!

Uploaded JBLMusic so that I could listen to my music while staying at a hotel. I was not successful at connecting to the device in my room but was able to connect to the device in the room next door. However, I was unable to listen to music. I would not recommend but I did not spend a lot of time trying to figure it out.
