Here are some helpful workarounds that should work whenever Salaam app keeps crashing or doesn't work as expected on your iPhone 14, 13,12,10,8,7,6, SE,XS,XR.

How to fix Salaam app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Salaam app on iPhone
Update Salaam app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Salaam iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Salaam on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Salaam network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, Goto "Settings" » "General" » "Reset" » "Reset Network Settings".
2. Enter your device passcode. Then confirm "Reset Network Settings".

Turn off your VPN:
1. Goto "Settings" » "General" » "VPN".

Salaam Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix Salaam not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Follow these steps to resolve intermittent Salaam app issues:

Force Stop the Salaam App
1. On android, goto "Settings" » click Salaam app. » click "Force Stop".

Update Salaam to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Salaam App Cache and Data:
1. On your device, goto "Settings" » click "Apps" » select "Salaam app" » click "Storage" » click "Clear Data" option. This Clears both data and cache.
2. Relaunch Salaam.

Fix Salaam unable to contact server/ Salaam internet connection errors on Android:

This issue is usually caused by your network. Here is how to fix:

On android, goto "Settings" » "Apps" or "Manage Apps" tab.
Click Salaam » "Force Stop".
Next, goto "Storage" » "Clear Data".
Again, got Salaam » "Mobile Data" » "Allow Background Data Usage".
Go back to "Settings" » "Connections" » "Mobile Network" » "Network Mode".
Now, put your network on 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Salaam on android.

The audio recitations will help you with the pronunciation of the verses. Salaam doesn’t require an internet connection and can therefore be used at all times.
