I was suckered in by a Facebook ad. I don’t use apps much and didn’t think to read the other reviews. I played around w FaceXPlay for 15 minutes, then canceled it. I was charged. It seemed to be within the free trial period and the fine print requires me to pay evidently. Disappointing to be ripped off.

Went through the motions with FaceXPlay intro and uploading a selfie. All of a sudden -ding- Apple is charging me $70 for an annual subscription with FaceXPlay. Apparently there are other levels of purchase... like $4.99 for a week or something. I never had that option before being charged. Through the apps sequence or prompts, it’s trying to get you to hold your thumb on the home button, so that the money can be stolen from your account.

If this is not dealt with by Apple I will be removing my cc info from iTunes and rethinking my relationship with Apple. Ridiculous.

Unless you want to get charged and no one respond, then DO NOT get FaceXPlay.

I wanted to try the free trial. When I logged in I didn’t even notice but it charged me after I verified the site/app. I noticed the charge right as I clicked on what I thought was going to be a free trial. Then when I looked for information to contact, they only had a gmail account.

RED FLAG as after 3 follow email, no has contacted, apologized or acknowledged they received my email and will follow up.

I didn’t purchase this. Was looking at FaceXPlay and opened. It automatically downloaded and I got charged the $69 for a year. Getting in touch with company, my bank and Apple. Kids can accidentally download this and there’s nothing preventing app from downloading. Terrible scam artists. I’m getting my money back or company will be plastered all over social media for scamming customers. Apple and Zuckerburg should do a better job allowing scum to use Facebook platform! Figures

I downloaded FaceXPlay thinking it was for free. I never saw how much money it was and considering it’s a ridiculous amount of money to download FaceXPlay. I couldn’t figure out how to cancel it and I was also charged more than $59 so I don’t understand why. I requested for Apple for a refund and I still have not received one for FaceXPlay that I never used and I cancelled. This is ridiculous

Do not download! There is no ‘free trial’ I clicked on the ad to see what it was and I realized it went to full year subscription. I cancelled it immediately (within 5 minutes after seeing my mistake) and I just got my credit card bill and sure enough I was charged for the full year! Absolutely a scam! I cannot get the refund.

They say in-app purchase and some features are paid, but it will charge you $69 as soon as you hit continue.
This is a scam. The terms and conditions even mention *some* features are paid. Not true, they will charge you right away when you hit the button to continue.

Let me save you the trouble. Never got to use FaceXPlay. Instantly charged my $70 when I opened FaceXPlay . I’ve been trying to get a refund since. No contact numbers for the developers or anything.
Wish I would’ve read the reviews before downloading.

Apple needs to remove scum like this from FaceXPlay Store.

There is no “Free trial”! I was charged $6.99 twice on consecutive days, and am still unable to use FaceXPlay . PayPal refuses to refund my money, but was kind enough to cancel the “subscription” I never signed up for to begin with. Now I will have to call Apple and ask for a refund. Stay away from scam apps like this one! Shame on you, Apple.

Im no good with makeup. I don’t know anything about “flattering shades” or the different ways you can do your eyeshadow. FaceXPlay is perfect for me! It lets me see how a makeup look would look on me and it gives me so many look ideas, none of the makeup looks are too much (like bright pink lipstick and aqua blue eyeshadow) and they all look somewhat natural... it’s amazing! One of the best out there!

I love playing makeup games, it’s just so fun to do! FaceXPlay is really cool because it lets you use pictures/selfies from your camera and gives you all kinds of different options to use as far as applying the makeup goes.

Worst app ever ! Anywhere to cancel right away , be 1 h on the phone with apple ! Its a jokes dont want FaceXPlay impossible to cancel ! No phone number !!! Worst app impossible to cancel when i never sign in !!!
