Maybe I'm missing out by not looking into many potential features that would require a subscription but I've been busy. It was a chore to store passwords because it didn't prompt me to save as new ones came up in their own apps and I only could store them through the this app app.

My usage of it seemed similar to what I might get for free or much cheaper. It was working OK but I got logged out of facial recognition, then had to go through both authentication and two step verification only to be told my password was not correct. I am pretty sure one of them was right but maybe I locked myself out. Could somebody help me? I can't get in at all now.

My main complaint is that I’m badgered with request to upgrade the account. My next complaint is that the software is too confusing to use. How confusing can a password manager be. Well don’t even waste your time on this piece of you know what. It’s really dizzying how a simple feature can be so confusing to use. You have multiple devices and it wants to know your master password. What what is the point of a regular password if you have to enter a master password. Just too confusing it’s annoying nag where. And I’m top of that there’s a note on there that says that they will compare your passwords with the dark web. Well if my passwords are secret in the first place then how are you able to compare them with what’s on the dark web. Scam. Avoid.

Okay I signed up for your 1 year on VPN, NOT this scam of an app, and yet you emailed me thinking I would fall for it. You say you take the “bare minimum” but that’s not true, I’ve used plenty of other vpns and they certainly did not take all this information from me. With the vpn, you should know that I will be watching you very meticulously and carefully and reporting on that. Stop relying on the old model so much where it’s all about getting your name out and manipulating people so that you can get their information. You’re a vpn company, act like it or you’re getting a 1 star on the vpn app as well. And no, you’re never getting my passwords. I will take you to court faster than you can sell me another product.

I’ve been using this app for a few months and my experience is, it’s buggy, very buggy, across the board.

In the browser, the plug-in frequently does not start. Clicking on the icon and selecting “Start this app” does not work and requires several attempts. Today, when I click on the icon, it no longer opens the window with the button to start this app.

On the PC, there are times it won’t login. Example, today when starting my system, this app asks me to login. It has the correct email address. When I click the Login button, the browser opens and says “Logged in successfully”. The desktop app has a continue button. When the Continue button is clicked, another browser tab opens and informs me, again, “Logged in Successfully”, so I’m stuck in a loop without access to my passwords.

The IOS app is no better. Almost always I have to click and click and click before this app wakes up and does what it’s supposed to do.

I’m locked out of my passwords. This is very frustrating and keeps me from doing the work I need to do.

I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for a password keeper.

I’ve tried about every password app on NordPass Store. This one has to fall in the worst two of them all! I don’t know which other one is worse but hey, I’ll be willing to admit there may be another one worse out there, just not sure which it would be. Customer service is a concept totally foreign to these people. I tried the paid version for 20 days and requested my “no questions asked guaranteed refund”… yeah right! I’m not holding my breath on that one. I talked (chatted on line - 2 hours almost) with four “service reps” who tried to talk me out of cancelling. Actually it was more like an inquisition… Anyway, I suggest trying some other app to avoid spending hours of frustration trying to get this albatross to work. Or, trying to get a refund…

Update: I did get the refund.

I’ve used Nord products for a number of years now. I’ve enjoyed this app. It is a useful and nicely designed password manager.

However, it is so frustratingly buggy lately. Half the time when it tries to autofill in an app, it logs itself out and won’t log back in or autofill anything. Even when autofill is working, it seems like every other day you have to log back into your account. It is becoming less convenient to use with bugs that are not acceptable. The only reason I still use it is because I got a year subscription… At the moment, I can’t recommend new users to try it.

Many months ago, this app was great. It used to load passwords up super fast and be ready and available whenever I needed it.

Fast forward to today and the mobile app is practically unusable (although the desktop app still works fine). 80% of the time when I click the “passwords” icon and get ready to load in a password for a login, it just completely hangs, forcing me to close out of Safari. Now I have to open the this app app, copy the password I want, open Safari, and then paste it into the website - what a hassle! When it does work, the password auto fills three times as slow as it used to.

It’s gotten so bad that I’ve even resorted to MEMORIZING my frequently-used passwords just cause typing them in is faster than going through the hassle I described above! 😂😭💀

What have the developers been doing??? They took a great product that worked 97% of the time and turned it into hot garbage that works 10-20% of the time and is now 3x as slow!

I switched to this app after my previous password manager took away features for free users. NordPass had been great for a long time, but in the past few months I have actually made me consider trying competitor services due to one fatal bug. This review specifically applies to my iOS experience, but a I have similar complaints about the desktop app.

The issue I am experiencing is I will be logging into a website and this app will give me a pop-up saying “Extension Disabled”, now you’d think all I would have to do is log back in, however that doesn’t even fix it. To get the service to start working again, I have to manually uninstall and reinstall NordPass , which is very time consuming. I have experienced this bug not only on my iPhone, but my iPad Pro as well. I personally can’t have my password manager break on a weekly basis, and unfortunately, even though I’ve already paid for a 2 year subscription, this bug has not been resolved after months.

In short, if you need a reliable Password Manager, I cannot recommend this app.

I will ditch tye current password app i fot right now if this had a way to add custon fields, a password generator, a catagory list that when you create your passwords you can custom sort them, logins folder, iphone apps folder, and so on that way anyone that has software or multiple bank accounts can find them on the fly, NordPass seems to sync from your online account to one device for free i can live with that. But i will also like the option to sync via wifi on my network as a option even if thats a hassle but the only way to get more devices to sync is with premium subscription, i don't mind but theres not enough options i find justifiable for me to pay just for this option up to 6 devices.

Im still new to NordPass but if it gets better and when it does ill reconsider but there should be more ways to sync devices not just via premium subscription even if its a hassle its a hassle i can live with. Beautiful clean gui will like to see some themes in there as well.

I currently use Bitwarden and so far this app just isn’t at feature parity level with them. This would be fine if it didn’t cost 3x as much as Bitwarden. I like Nord products and will continue with free but I’ll be happy when I see at least the ability to but OTP or TOTP (2FA) into my logins like Bitwarden allows on their premium plan. Not to mention that even on this app premium you’re still only limited to 6 devices.

I’d also like a true web interface and features like alerts to data breaches and that sort of thing. These feature may be there but I can’t seem to find them.

Otherwise NordPass is a great password manager with password generator.

It doesn’t automatically make a login when you create a new password, instead it takes to the search page and shows you no results, like why?
Why can’t it just make a login? Other apps can do it.
I’d have to go to NordPass , navigate to the place to manually create a new login, and manually type the url because I’m on my phone!
Also I’d have to login twice on the desktop , meaning I have to type my password twice, once on the webpage, once in NordPass !
How do you expect me to pay for this? Don’t tell me these features are included in the paid version that’s just insulting

Edit: Reducing my review to 3 from 5 stars. App is slow to open passwords often (just displays loading animation from password item list). Makes me log in (with nord account, not just master password) *far* more often than it should. App doesn't seem to have proper offline support. I don't want to have to log in (possibly without internet connection) to view previously stored passwords. Please make this more reliable and fast.

Moved to this app from LastPass when they changed their pricing. Import was slick and NP's UX is so much nicer. All I can ask for so far: - Dark mode - Better notes. Field is clunky to edit on mobile. I have a lot of these, especially as a LP convert...please make the editing experience better! (Use full screen real estate)

I’ve about had enough with seeing ‘Enter your Master Password’. Why am I, a loyal-paying customer constantly having to access my Personal Vault (OneDrive) to obtain my Master Password just so I can access my PASSWORDS. I love the Nord Team. I know you all are working hard, and I’m sure a lot of people are rude to you.. but guys.. I’m considering switching to a different application. I and many others shouldn’t have to write a slightly negative review just for a simple password application. I’m sure it’s being worked on as I type this. I hope this issue gets resolved immediately. 1. The purpose of a password manager is to enable the user to sync passwords across devices, yet using the free tier of this app only allows one device to be used at a time. As soon as I log in on my phone, my computer gets logged off NordPass . At least enable the free tier to support two devices for this reason. I do pay for the NordVPN service though, so if there is a bundle I could use to let me have both services, let me know!

2. Dark mode please!

Hi guys! I just wanted to say that me and my parents (2 accounts) recently switched from Dashlane because they were getting rid of their Desktop app. We love your desktop app, please keep it. Can you please add 2 features?!

1. Please add a large font display on passwords, my parents are older and can’t see the tiny passwords. I think one password has this feature.

2. It would be great if there is a button for Secure notes where we have to type the password to unlock certain private notes. I don’t like typing password once unlocks all notes. Apple Notes has this feature. Same feature to view passwords would be great.

I would love to give NordPass 5 stars once we can get those features.

Overall great experience as a desktop user, love that they use XChaCha20 and all the features mentioned in the product description.

however the mobile could use some additional functionality. Specifically when i’m creating an account on mobile, i’d love to see a field where i can generate a password and then save that info. Not sure if it’s an iOS limitation but it would definitely save me some time.

I came to NordPass after iPhone Passwords kept telling me my data was leaked after I kept changing my password. Never had a problem with my passwords until I stored them in my iPhones password settings. So far NordPass works just like it in which I really enjoy. It does not tell you if your passwords have been in a data breach unless you pay for premium. If you’re looking for a free app to store passwords and such this is a great app to check out!.

Since I had Nord VPN I went with their password manager as well. Glad I did. Tried a few others and they’re not bad, but for the price and the bundle discount, it’s kind of a no-brainer. Simple to use on iOS and altho a bit different on MacOS it’s still pretty easy. Just wish the MacOS version had the 5-30-1hr pause feature that the iPhone app does. That’s really my only complaint. Get this!! It’s worth every penny.

Edit: I forgot to mention, connecting NordPass to other apps to instead of their website counterpart seems to be a needed feature I don’t see in the iOS version. Unless I’m missing something.

Revised review. It seems my payment was slow getting out of the Apple store. The this app team is on the case and all is well. NordPass meets all of my expectations as I had thought it would. The team at this app and NordVPN both are first class.

I wanted to take advantage of the 7 day trial before fully committing to the one year subscription. I was immediately billed and charged for the one year term but NordPass still wants me to update to premium. I followed the prompts for settings to sync NordPass and iPad. Several attempts take me back to the beginning. I expected a smooth experience such as I have had with NordVPN, but NordPass is nowhere near.

If NordPass will not work, I want a refund. Failing that, I will contact MasterCard to contest the charge.

Reviewing my password situation was a “Come to Jesus” moment as I realized how unsafe some of my “old favorites” really were. Yeah, they were technically strong, but really didn’t have the complexity they should have had. this app has worked well after being installed on my desk top, lap tops and phones. It did take a while to get things to the point that passwords were efficiently shared between devices, and I am still emotionally tethered to my database, but after a week or so, I’m finding that is a solid program upon which I can rely. Yes, it is pricy, but I think the old axiom, that you get what is pay for is applicable here.

I already use NordVPN and really like it and thought NordPass would do the trick and save me a little money until I tried to import my exported data from another app. With 100’s of entries in a competitor product I thought the easy way to migrate over is export from one and import into this app. Not so. this app to reformat the csv file. Not!!! If you offer to import from another specific app then take their format and convert. Don’t make me do the work on all those entries. Not worth the move. Lost a customer on this point.

I cannot access it from Safari or Chrome. There is no extension activation on the share button and no interaction when logging into sites. The faq barely exists and I followed its instructions to activate lastpass in the autofill settings.

I was real excited to try this after I received an email from Nord and was willing to ditch LastPass right away until I read a review that mentioned “no password generator” and being a developer I thought for sure they would have seen the review a added it by now. I really hope they add this.

Overall it’s an easy to use, easy to understand, very helpful app, but requiring an Email code and then the master password after a lockout is a hassle. I think integrating a PIN code as an option would make NordPass even more efficient to use.

I have NordVPN and have been satisfied with it, so this was a no brained. I have it installed on my Mac and IPhone. Mac works great with the google extension. With the phone app, it has a really hard time loading all my passwords and just shows up blank. I thought this would make me switch from Apples keychain app but..

Paid for premium over a week ago. Only one entry has synced to my mobile device and there is no clear way to force a sync. Totally useless if you can’t actually sync between your phone and laptop.

I reset my phone and it synced. The team is responsive too. I will say though for such a simple app the desktop version seems a bit heavy. I have to close it sometimes to speed my computer up and it’s an i7 turbo with a 1tb SSD

This is the second time I’m trying this password manager and this time it’s been fantastic. I was trying to switch from Firefox Lockwise because it’s not really being updated and lacking features and I tried 3 or 4 other managers. this app looked nice and it functions really well, no issues so far. Pricing is kind of steep, and I wish they had some sort of better then free tier for NordVPN customers. But otherwise I would recommend NordPass.

It makes the ability login in less of a pain to do because it autofills for you or all you have to do is copy and paste once or twice (if doesn't autofill), and it could also be use to store logins in case you forget those login information.

Great password app with fantastic user interface - one of the best actually. Almost completely switched from M-secure but still waiting for offline capability before finally moving over.

A fan of nord VPN. Just wish if they had specials for nord VPN users. Or all apps should come in a bundle. Just an opinion. Not a fan of subscriptions for each individual apps. Cheap Me 😁

It needs A category for email other than that it is great. Very easy to use

I appreciate the fact that the desktop version works with my preferred web browser (Dissenter) unlike 1Password.

Try it out you might like it.

Tip: Turn off other password managers so that logging into web sites does not become a confusing mess.
