Tried this "free" app about a month ago and SS would not recognize anything but paper currency. There have been a couple of updates since then and decided to give SS A second try to see if it had improved any since the first time. However, it will not work now unless you pay. The least expensive option was about $60 per year at $4.99 Per month for a software which would not read a print letter that the actually free seeing AI app did actually read well. Do you know what they say, if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is… Time to hit delete.

I have used Supersense for some time and it usually ends up being more of an exercise in frustration than an actual help. It may work better for reading a page of nicely formatted text, but it doesn’t work at all for helping to read a paper that I need to read and sign. The understanding of what sections of the page come next seldom works, and it tends to chop off words at each side of the paper - even after telling me to “move further away from the page” until there is more than 1 inch background around each edge of the paper. Overall I have rarely been able to get it to correctly read a page even after months of trying.

I love 90% of Supersense. I even bought the lifetime subscription. Only thing I don't like, is it says you can import PDF, but when I try, it refuses to read me the PDF. So I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong with that feature what. But otherwise everything else works awesome.

Supersense is your one stop shop for a blind or visually impaired person. You can’t beat the pricing as it is reasonable. Love the barcode feature, sure blows it’s free compeditor seeingAI out of the water. I’m glad to find Supersense and will be looking forward to upcoming features!

I love everything about Supersense. However, I would like to make a suggestion. I wish it was some kind of way, when reading a screen, it would be able to some how point out what’s highlighted on the screen. That would be awesome.. great app.

The new Smart Scan feature works extremely well. Not sure which LLM they’re using, but whatever the case it provides much greater detail than Be My AI which recently added this feature as well. Props to the Developers for this one. Good job!

I was using another app to scan cans and boxes when I’m cooking but Supersense was so much better because no matter where I scan it it starts reading instead of trying to find a barcode.
I haven’t tried the other features yet.
It is so helpful for cooking that I put it on my first screen so I could find it easy.

Supersense is great! I just purchased a lifetime subscription. I scanned a booklet that comes inside a CD. Those booklets are difficult for most apps to read because they are written on shiny, glossy paper. Supersense read the booklet beautifully! Thank you so much for developing Supersense, and I look forward to future updates.

I am an entrepreneur. I receive many documents in different forms every day. However, some of them my phone will not automatically read especially if it’s in PDF form. However, Supersense reads everything for me! It makes my life so easy! I think it is amazing and fantastic and the blind community thank you so very much

I just found Supersense through the Utah Council of the blind I am absolutely amazed I have not set up a subscription I am testing the free version to see how good it is and I am absolutely blown away I just read a package of quaker barley it read everything including the barcode the directions and the recipes on the front page bravo well done

this app is a game-changer! Its document scanner converts any text, including handwritten notes, into editable digital format. The object recognition tool is quick and precise. I have been using Supersense for about three months now. I find it to be very user-friendly. It goes above and beyond what you see from similar apps like Seeing AI and Envision. Yes, you do have to purchase a subscription, but I think that it is totally worth it. The smart scan feature is awesome because it is intuitive and allows you to read or recognize a multitude of things without having to change between features. I especially love the barcode scanner. I find it to be very helpful and I love that you don’t have to manually go back a screen to scan the next barcode. You can just keep scanning product after product and getting results every time. I am a former bookseller. I lost my eyesight three years ago. I have tried almost all of the book scanners and scanning apps and I am very grateful for super sense. Thank you Super sense! The product works smoothly, it has made my life much easier. I use it to read out books to me, but also my microwave dinners and everything else. Highly recommended! Highest number of stars!

I love the this app app. It is much easier to use than other apps that are also primarily designed for scanning for documents for blind people. It provides really excellent guidance and it is probably the easiest app to use. I love it so much, that I wish it could be integrated into the medicine Mart the meta-Rayban Smart glasses so that we could use it to read documents with those glasses. This is a fantastic app.

Supersense is so easy to use you sibling pointed as the can turn the can in the camera will automatically snap a picture of the barcode when it comes into view it will then reach you the product and give your details about serving size nutritional information and other information about the product very easy to use very informative great for a new blind person

Hello I purchased Supersense today while it was on sale. I like the feature when I read the text to you it tells you where to position the phone so it captures all the text is so quick and fast. I can say it does a much better job than other apps out there! This will be an excellent purchase if you are going to school or for work or just to read a print book that happens to be on your book shelf.

Where would I be without super sad it makes great sense I love it I can read out the menus out loud I can check out the money and do the money and my bills ran out to me I could read my mail through this app I could weed money currency with super sense QR codes with super science anything at all it’s super sense thank you super sense I love you guys even love the new version of this app and I will continue using this app for the rest of my life thank you super sense I love you guys I am nothing without super sense you guys just makes perfect perfect sens e

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been trying to look for a Camera app that supplied all my needs like this one. This application does everything that I wanted it to. I mean, exactly everything I was expecting. Thank you so much for working hard to make Supersense. I’d like it if you could add some new updates to Supersense . You know. Add some new features at least. But you don’t have to. It’s just a suggestion. Once again thank you so much for working hard to make Supersense. PS I’d recommend it to any blind ones out there who is looking for an app. Supersense I’d highly recommend. It’s free. Some features are premium. But it’s free.

Supersense includes the best scanner I have come across so far. It is very accurate, I would guess 99%. It is very easy to read mail very quickly if you put the scanner in document mode. The program will tell you how to move the phone so that it can get an accurate picture. It is wonderful, very easy to use, no errors where you get the left or right corners cut off or anything like that. The money reader is excellent. There are some experimental things, and I love the way they venture out to find new products. This is well worth the lifetime price that I paid. I am very happy with this product, and know that it will only get better as time passes.

I use this app almost dayly, and I love it! Supersense has helped me in many ways, including finding bus stops when GPS data just wasn't accurate. It has helped in many other ways, too. It is easy and enjoyable to communicate with the this app team. They seem to listen to suggestions closely.
