This is the worst color blind testing app. You need to pay over $100 a year just for a color blind test. This includes a full report, unlimited tests, and get access to the time limit change. All these features should have not cost money plus it is overpriced. What a rip-off.

When I see nothing(most of the time) there is not a nothing button or thing to do and you only have a option of 4 numbers. Plus when you want to see your results you only get to see 2 from your 18 slides taken if you want to see them you have to become a member which costs money.

This is not like the test I’ve had at the doctors. It’s so fast that when I see nothing (most of the time), I don’t have time to touch nothing, or it’s not a choice and I just choose any number due to lack of time. I can’t find an explanation about how this test works leading me to believe it really doesn’t. Real scientific tests with significant validity cost money. I’ve known since kindergarten when I was unable to distinguish and accurately name the colors in a box of 6 crayons and spent a lifetime learning to compensate as best I could. Although it limits jobs and presents daily frustrations and more than occasional dangerous situations. It’s not considered a disability. I think the only numberI see is 13. The rest are all “NOTHING.”

I’ve been colorblind my whole life and I know that. I was curious so I downloaded ColorblindEyeExamTest . It gave me my results (48% but we don’t talk about that) but only gave me results to 2 of the questions. For the rest you have to pay so it was honestly kind of useless.

Can’t comment on how well it worked because I couldn’t get past the clicking and dinging. It clicks between each test (like an old slide projector - not bad) but during each test it dings loudly every second as the timer counts down (like the sound of an old fashioned service desk bell - awful).

I couldn’t find a way to silence the sound effects other than muting my phone so I quit and deleted ColorblindEyeExamTest .

There shouldn’t be a time limit or higher then5 seconds.

Especially when at a doctor office you get way longer time

App provides some sort of color blind test. I don't know how it relates to an assessment an ophthalmologist would use. At best it's a short timed game. Easy and entertaining. If it finds a problem, you should see an eye doc. If it doesn't (false negative), we'll... oops.

I like ColorblindEyeExamTest , but I'm not crazy about the timer. I would also like to see the added feature of diagnosing the type of color blindness when people fail the test.

The contrast is a bit more obvious on this test than on the actual printed plates. Not sure if that matters if you’re actually color deficient. FYI using an iPhone X. Might be different on other devices

I do like that it scrambles the order of the plates each time you start a new test

I disagree with lats review. ColorblindEyeExamTest is very helpful in discussing color deficiency. It is so hard to imagine how our boys and perhaps girls can not experience the all wonderful colors that we see everyday day and hour of our lives that they can not see. 😢

Two of us turned up colorblind and two were not. Particularly impressive was how consistent the results are when you retake the test. I got a 36 and a 40, another got a 48 and a 52. The "normal" people got a consistent 96.

As a recruiter, Ive used ColorblindEyeExamTest multiple times on potential cab drivers. I have to say im surprised this is free to use. The exam starts right away and it takes less than a minute to know if the person is colorblind or not.
I personally dont care but it gives u details about shat type of color you cannot see.
A must keep on ur phone app that is quite handy

I didn't know it was a test in the beginning. I used it as a game before. This is really good to use if u believe u can't see.

I found ColorblindEyeExamTest very helpful in seeing where my color vision. I used the results of the test for my consult with an eye doctor.

I am not color blind and do not have any way for verifying its accuracy. Having said that its fast,simple and easy to use. Most importantly it's free

I use this test on children and they love it! It is a much better tool than the one provided at my job site.

I have everyone try this test over and over. The results are so consistent. Good eyes score 100%, but color blind testers get 40%-80% every time, no matter how many attempts. My score went from 60% to 80% after doing it on a retina display.

Excellent tool. My son and I both scored an impressive 16-20%. We have known for a long time about our color deficiency but it's kind of fun to do this with friends who can tell us what we don't see. "Huh, really?! There's a 12 in there? I just see a bunch of multi colored dots."

I already knew i was color blind, but i could nvr find an app that actually works for it. I got my results from it and told me what i already knew. So ColorblindEyeExamTest works.👍🏼
