I recently signed up to the bank, and as a Apple voiceover user, I noticed that certain things were odd but it was still quite easy to sign up. After I signed up, and got my virtual card, I initiated a transfer from my old bank so that I would use it as my primary, thinking that I could use a virtual card because I’ve had no trouble with other banks regarding this. Come to find out, the debit card information has some sort of weird image that of course apples voiceover is unable to read.I immediately sent them an email, explaining all of this. Since then, I’ve been waiting for a response or any indication that they’re going to work on this, and nothing came of it. It’s frustrating, because now I’m not sure if I’m missing anything on the screen that it’s also not reading, or just things like that. Usually, all banks have put great efforts into accessibility for visually impaired users. And I am honestly surprised that a bank whose company has been around since 2011, hasn’t put any effort into any kind of accessibility for their apps. Hopefully they do end up working on this cause it seems like a cool bank but why go with them when they show they don’t care about being inclusive?

Stay away from this company

I tried numerous times to make things worked with this company but trust me . If they can make things difficult for you , they will . First, when I created my act i used to have a email and a phone number that I no longer have neither I have access to it . I called r service numerous times who told me to create a new account so they could delete the old one . I’m other words , because this company doesn’t allowed costumers to change a email address on they website , customers would have to create a new account , get another card , re-do direct deposit witch would hold our money for 1-2 weeks . I done everything they asked me . What they did ? They canceled the new account I created and left the old one saying I had requested that change witch I never did . All credit cards I have allows me to update my email address . Not this company . Plus I tried to link the account with apple pay . Couldn’t do it because they had my old number on they system even thought I had changed my phone number on Passbook . Save yourself from this headache . Obviously, if you never have to change your email or phone number it’s a good card to have especially if you do money transfers with Remitly.

The worst online banking in the world

THE WORST BAKING EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE!
I am a user of online bankings such as Wise, Revolut and etc. since 2017 and after moving US I opened this app which made me upset at the first activity with the bank. I could not get my direct deposit money which was under my family member’s name because it didn’t match my name which sounds very funny. They send my money back to the sender which means I will never see that money which I suppose to get in order to send to my family abroad. I even missed other online bankings while using this this app. The only thing I like with this bank is the design of its card that’s it. As a person who is using 7 banking accounts at the same time I never will recommend this bank to anyone. 1 star ranking is what it deserves. Hope you will improve your banking system for future costumers because I am going to close my account not even using a day.

It literally takes more than week to transfer money from your bank account to passbook

This was my first time using this app and probably last. I deposited money into this app about a week ago now. The money has been deducted from my bank account however its still not reflected in my Remittly account. This is real waste of time. Not at all useful for any last moment international transfers that you might need to do. Plan about a month ago in order to send your money on time through Passbook. Literally only reason I downloaded Passbook was because I could save couple of bucks on international transfers. Apart from that Passbook is really useless. Another thing to note is that it doesn’t allow you to transfer money back from your this app account to your actual bank account. There’s only incoming no outgoing. Really?

So far so good.

Ok I have been using this app since May 2020 and I have to say it’s the best and easiest there is. Customer service is great. Quick response always. It was easy to open the account. I sent copy of my documents and utility bill. It’s the same as a regular checking account, but without the brick facility. I had used netspend in the past, but this app is way better. I use it mainly for direct deposit and online shopping. I wish it had a savings account option and the ability to deposit checks.

Nice Card

I am enjoying the next bank and some of the features it has. Like Easy name change and customer service is awesome. Just only issue is that I’m not able to add my card to Apple Pay and that’s all I use because of this pandemic. Could I get some assistance.... No the issue has not been fixed but I will say Francys is so nice and sweet I spoke to her 5 times in one week and out of those five 3 was in the same day and she tried everything possible. So I want someone to know how she went over and beyond to help me

Basic Banking done very well.

I’ve had my this app account for about 2-3 years now. The account itself is mostly a basic bank account, debit card, ach payments, etc. The main and most attractive feature has to be sending money abroad with Remitly. They do support sending money to US bank accounts with Zelle, and that does arrive same day. this app also supports Apple Pay. Considering there is absolutely zero fees to have the bank account, this is a great banking product.

Excellent card to have

I’ve had my card for about a month and I love it! If I want to load money I just go to Walgreens. I also have money that is direct deposited on my card. I was leery at first but so far seems to be a really good card. It will also send text messages to let you know what your balance is and also tell you when money hits your account. So far so good. I’m glad I made the change over!

No way to transfer from Passbook to another bank online

this app is more than happy to take your money through online transfer from other bank accounts but if you’re trying to send that money back to another bank account online you’re out of luck. There doesn’t seem to be any way to do so except physically going to the nearest ATM or using some weird app called Remitly which only does international online transfer. This makes absolutely no sense. Why not let you transfer your money back out the same way they take in money. If I had known that in the first place I would have never used this app to begin with. It’s not really worth the hassle honestly.

They are the best !

Honestly the best banking service I have ever had , they make life so much simpler and easier when it comes to banking .
I can use my card anywhere and I’m not charged an insane amount of fees !! I encourage you to sign up <~ which their sign up process is even easy if you are considering switching to them . Make the move you won’t regret it !! Customer service is always polite and kind by the way .

Silence all negative comments!!!

It says clearly for MULTINATIONALS!!
so why give bad reviews for Apple Pay? the card has a contactless feature just like you would do with ur phone.
There is tones of other cards, varo, chime,go2....
this app is the best for We who come from other countries living in the us.
Deposit money at Walmart or any other green dot, cvs, dollar tree.
I made a transfer From my Bank of America which takes 2 days to hit my account.!
That’s fast.

This app is almost there 😭

I am transgender, and I have been searching forever for a bank that would allow me to put my chosen name on a card. I found this and I am so happy, but with a drawback. The banking portion is very bare-bones: you have a card, put money in, spend money using the card. The UI seems a bit clunky and has already signed me out once. But I’m so happy to have found somewhere I could get my chosen name on a card!

Terrible service

I opened an account a few months ago, and somehow they managed to mess up the name of my account by misspelling it. I contacted them to get it resolved, but they never were able to get it corrected, rather they automatically closed my account without even telling me that they will be doing that. I retried to open an account but it just tells me to wait for them to review my account creation before they will send me the new card. It’s been several weeks since I created and have heard nothing. At this stage, I have no interest in using these services anymore. It’s the biggest time waster ever.

Nice Debit Card & Simple App

I signed up for this app because of the unique debit card design (where you get to choose your flag and and preferred name)!

I’ve had no issues transferring money or using my account! E-mailing support for one minor question I had took a little while since I mentioned them before a weekend, otherwise I’ve had no issues!

They close your account for no reason and won’t give you back your money.

I have been using this app for a couple of weeks until suddenly I got an email that my account was closed. I called them to ask why and they literally told me they had no reason for closing my account. Yes, that’s exactly what they said. My account was closed last month, the first person I spoke to promised I would get my money in a couple of days, the second person I spoke to told me I would get my money next year 2021. What if I had a life and death emergency that needed money, it would’ve gone south. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR MONEY!!!

Had an absolutely great experience with customer service twice! Both times my problem has been solved right away. Very polite and effective communication. Also app itself has a user-friendly design, everything is easy to find, not overloaded with unnecessary informations. I recommend it!! :)

Great card, always rolling out new features

This is a really great card. I’ve been using it for the last few months and depositing my salary into it. They keep rolling out new features! It’s great. And the cash back on remittances is a really great feature as well. I’ve used it a couple of times and it works great.

Saves you when abroad

I was stuck in Canada during the pandemic and having this app was life saving. It allowed me to take out cash, pay for everything since it’s a visa debit accepted basically everywhere I went, it’s tap and has Apple Pay, and I had to pay zero fees for being abroad!

A SCAM. Do not recommend

Passbook is a scam. Although you can make a ACH to this app, there is no way to transfer money out from this app to any U.S. bank account. So basically, this app will steal your money. The customer support are useless. They will tell you to use Cashapp or Zelle to move money, but what they will not tell you is that once you use this app card with Cashapp or Zelle, your Cashapp and Zelle will get permanently deleted because the BINs of this app are untrustworthy. So basically there is no way to move your money out from this app. STAY AWAY!

Pretty good bank

I love being able to turn off my card in Passbook . I like saving some money on my Remitly transfers when I use my this app card.

My biggest complaint is I wish it was a little faster to put money in my card from my main bank account

Was great for about a year then I got a notification at 3am saying someone tried to use my card for purchases online. They tried several times to use it for a 400$ purchase normally my check arrives at this time and date but didn't work for couple weeks so I had no paycheck this time. I called customer service and they said it had to have been someone who worked there. I closed my account and changed my direct deposit to another bank. I'm not risking someone stealing my paycheck.

So.....I got government assistance for over 5 grand and I set the payment up for direct deposit into my passbook account and passbook rejected or is returning the payment because they don't accept any transfers over 5k which is unheard of on planet earth. How can this app be taken seriously 0 stars please

literally a scam. i deposit 28$ first time. then they suspend my account for no reason other than it’s suspicious to add money to an account. won’t refund me or be transparent. scammers. the guy on the phone even said they was a scam!

Their agents are uncoordinated. It's exasperating dealing with their customer service. You keep explaining and sending documents but none seem to look into it thoroughly coz they pass you from one agent to the another. I followed instructions and sent them what they said i needed to submit. If you read all my correspondences with them, you'll see they're not addressing the issue. EXASPERSTING. Just look for another alternative if i were you.

This app would have been nice had they not suspended my account a few times. I complied with their request to provide government-issued ID and still was told the decision was final and that they will permanently close my account. Issue was coming from both financial institutions upon transferring the money from my checking account. The money was already deducted to my bank and its pending in passbook app. I was told I will wait 60 days for them to close it and another 14 days to send funds/money (as check) on my mail. So terrible! I will never recommend this app to anyone. My rate would be -20 out of 10. Or to be more realistic, I’m giving the least rating it could ever have.

I give this card 3 star. Because y'all rejected my stimilus payment due to it was over the maximum amount. I still haven't received my payment yet. 😡

how do I check to see do I have a pinning deposit for mar. 17, 2021?? From irs. Everyone else is getting there direct deposit early from other banks, do I have to wait to that exact day on the check??? Thank you

I did apply to open a bank accounts but I never got the debit card from Sunrise bank I wonder what happens so please send me the code and the PASSBOOK card for I can start putting money into it
