Just another bank that doesn’t keep their promises

2nd update: did as I was asked, provided all info. Was told I would my bonus within five days. That was on Monday. It is now nearing the end of the day in Friday, still NOTHING. Messaged again yesterday and was told to wait longer and basically told I was being a nuisance and they had already told me by email I would get it when the email was VERY unclear. This is BEYOND ridiculous.
Update: I did as I was asked and got more excuses and was told I needed to provide more of my friend’s information that I didn’t have (their email) which was NOT stated as a condition of receiving my bonus. So, thanks for not doing as you said and asking me to jump through more hoops on the hopes you would fulfill your empty promises. Done. This is ridiculous. I just hope my friend at least got their bonus.

I had JUST left another banking situation because they would NOT fulfill their end of the deal with my multiple referrals…not only did they NOT give me my bonus, but my friends and family that also signed up did NOT receive theirs either. Looks like Bambu is going to be the same thing. I had high hopes…guess that is what I get for hoping though. Wish I could say I had an experience like the review I read, but spoke to customer service and they couldn’t tell me anything useful…not even that my friend shows as a referral. I wish I could give zero stars honestly.

This bank is holding my money.. DO NOT TRUST

After submitting all the documents they asked me to send, no replies from them. I can’t even email them because the emails are being returned because their inbox is full apparently . This shows how scummy this company is. No help at all.

They asked me to submit docs because of unusual amount or frequency of external transfers that are coming in. It’s not my fault that MyBambu works like it’s still 1992. I would scheduled transfer from my Wells Fargo so that I can use this app buy every time I tried to press transfer, an error message pop out, so I’m thinking it didn’t process. So I tried again. And again. Little did I know each time did process.

So now they ask for my docs about 6 days ago. Provided them w statements and id and selfie and what not. Until now no reply. And can contact them. I’m so mad at myself for trusting a bank like this. Stay away from this bank. Open a chime account!

Missing Payment

Customer Service Is Terrible. When you’re doing their affiliate Referral program, they’ll tell you you’ll receive payment within 3-5 business days but really it’s more like 5-10 business days or even longer. So no, they don’t keep their word. And I was blocked from them from two different Facebook accounts because I was mad at the fact that I didn’t receive payment LIKE THEY SAID. I was told I would receive payment two weeks ago then they told me to wait until the week after and I did. So I asked for it Friday and they’re still saying I should receive payment next week. Now it’s Monday, and I’m still waiting for my referral bonuses (mind you I have to make a third account to reach them) and of course I’m still getting no response smh This is completely ridiculous. I wouldn’t recommend MyBambu guys.

Great app and customer service!

Every since I’ve started using MyBambu, it’s been amazing! I have been paid multiple times from referring friends and the banking system and they way it’s set up is pretty cool!

When it comes too customer service, they are 100% always available when they can get too you through their Facebook page! Overall, I’m pretty happy with the services they provide and will continue too stick with this app definitely in the near future as well!

Don't trust this app

The truth is that I thought it was a good app, but on the contrary, when I created my account everything was fine, I gave myself $ 10 of which I spent 7.50 or something like that, a day passed and they blocked my card for a fraudulent transaction of $ 400 and I didn't I had even deposited nothing because the card had barely arrived, and after asking and asking now I will receive a card, but now they sent me another email where it says that I have to send more public service documents, direct deposit receipts, and more. The truth is that I am only 19 years old and I do not have all those receipts, because I have not deposited anything in my account, nor do I have public utility bills because I am not independent,

Don't refer you won't get paid

I have yet to receive payment as well for referrals I was told 3-5 days as well I have been waiting since November and every time I message I'm was told a ton key would be put in than I'm told next week than next week come nothing than told the next week and that's been going on since November and here it is January and no payment still for my referrals that I sent to MyBambu so long story short it's unfair and should not be said u pay for referrals when u don't pay and have a million excuses every week I have reached out several times on FB and just keep getting excuses after excuses it's crazy that look like I'm not the only one going through it so again don't refer cuz u won't get paid obviously

REGRET THIS APP

When I downloaded MyBambu it was $20 to start a new account and you get $10 per referral. I made $80 from MyBambu within the first week. Most of my referrals got denied because their ID's were expired, didn't live at the address that were on their ID's etc etc. I have 2 referrals that still haven't even received their bonus for joining, I, myself have been waiting 2 weeks now for $30-$40 dollars from referrals. Truthfully, if you're looking for a quick way to make money THIS IS NOT MyBambu . I've been told multiple times I'll get it this day, I'll get it that day, etc and still nothing. Don't even waste your time. I'll be trying to find a way to cancel my account and stay away from MyBambu.

Do Not Trust Bambu: ZERO verification process.

I would caution anyone before using MyBambu. Someone used my phone number to sign up for an account with this app. I did NOT create this account. I received texts on my phone afterwards and immediately reported it to this company that the account in question had my information. It's been over a week with no proper action taken by this app to fix this despite my inquiries. I guess they don't verify phone numbers when you sign up??? Which is unheard of when it comes to proper banking security. They kept telling me they would fix it and it still hasn't been done. I keep getting texts on my phone. Sketchy app verification process with zero customer service.

GREAT customer service

To begin with I had problems getting my debit card. When I contacted support to let them know I never received it. Not actually even talking to anyone I had sent a message. A few days later I had my new card. That was sent by express UPS next day delivery. Who could ask for better service then that? Other than no monthly fees. Which they have that covered also. Highly recommend.

Here’s my problem: I’m currently using an iPhone 5s that can not support further software updates, therefore I can’t update MyBambu due to the iOS version of the phone. Do Not Waste Your Time Signing up for this “bank” they offer you a “reward” for signing up , and a “reward” for inviting friends they don’t follow through , it’s always “next week” I signed up a whole month ago and never got a $20 bonus from them as stated ! very unprofessional on Facebook messenger , you can not even talk to a manager , just some random person talking , telling you what you want to hear , several other people did not receive any money either , per stated in their “sign up bonus” . they are worthless ! I’ve even took legal steps towards them !

$20 Bonus promises! (Huh LIES)

When I signed up there was a $20 promotion going on but I still haven’t yet gotten my $20 from you guys! No Bonus

I’m looking for a on line bank that I can trust. I don’t see how I can trust you people if what you say isn’t true. No sign up bonus and no referral bonus. I am embarrassed having my friends sign up and then tell me that I’m just trying to scam them because of what I told them what they will get and didn’t get. I told them just to delete the account and that it seems bogus. I came here to bank, but I’m not banking with a place that lies and untrustworthy.

Let’s see if they post this

The fact that my account keeps getting limited due to security reasons and I barely even use it works the last nerve that I have and then when I called I get told somebody will contact me in 24 to 48 hours but it takes them 24 to 48 days and sometimes they don’t reach back out at all. I’m waiting on my referral pay. Hello! Is anybody there? This “bank” has to be a joke. Am I being linked here? Where are the cameras?

I signed up and got the quickest customer service ever . They are on facebook messenger and very helpful and kind with all the questions i had . Not regret at all best banks i ever bank with . Oh and they are giving $20 bonus for opening account 🥰

Horrible customer service

I referred someone to use this so we can both get a sign up bonus, i referred them on December 1st, reached out to customer service about not getting referral, the person i referred got their bonus. I still haven’t gotten mine, can’t send messages to support because their inbox is full, they keep asking for the same information, never using MyBambu or referring anyone to it again.

Idk about this app

I open my account bout a month ago. Still haven’t receive the sign up bonus. I even email support three times and no reply yet. How Support not emailing me back is beyond me. I don’t understand it. Just tricking people to sign up. Waste of time smh. I did contact them on Facebook. Was told that week or the next. Guess what.......... still haven’t receive the $20 sign up bonus. You can even use the virtual card. They say you can in the help center section but they provide no expiration date inir a ccv for it... Duh how the hell can you use the virtual card without that information . Swear.. it's not rocketscience.
