I was reminded today why I had deleted ChangellyExchangeBuyCrypto and completely stopped using their services when I was forced to either buy using them or miss out on a special deal… For whatever reason my linked Fiat Bank account stopped working, and so did my CC and Apple Pay, leaving just this... Show more company as the sole provider for Fiat to BTC(while on KuCoin).. Originally they were my top favorite company to use as an on-ramp exchange, better, safer, faster then anything else I have ever used. One day I started working on a new exchange and they offered this company’s services along side a few others so you could choose whom you wanted to use. Well every time I went to top-up my account with a monthly $150-$200 investment, they 𝐀𝐋𝐖𝐀𝐘𝐒 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐆𝐄𝐃 𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑 $25+ each time! Nearly 𝐃𝐎𝐔𝐁𝐋𝐄 what the next highest offer was. Then I started noticing this exact same issue not just at that exchange but on all of the ones I’m using, and all of the wallets, and websites too. They are the WORST at how much they charge for providing the exact same service as Moon or MoonRiver or even CoinBase! What they are great at is Advertising, and that’s how they do it. Their ads are targeting NEW investors, the ones who haven’t seen or heard about them yet…

At the time of this writing it’s been 15 hours since Changelly received my currency for exchange. You can see the transaction ID on the blockchain. Email support (in broken English), says “sorry, you never included a mystery extra Id in the memo field” - which is not stated in ChangellyExchangeBuyCrypto , anywhere. Nor did they require this memo field in previous transactions. While support responded quickly, they showed a screen shot of the instructions ON THE WEBSITE. Useless. I even went to upgrade ChangellyExchangeBuyCrypto - no update , I have the latest app that allows Changelly to hold and float your crypto while they tell you they don’t have it. It’s only a matter of time until Apple steps in and delists ChangellyExchangeBuyCrypto from ChangellyExchangeBuyCrypto Store.

The correct user experience should be to UPDATE ChangellyExchangeBuyCrypto (which they haven’t yet) then not allow a user to continue using the old app.

I understand we are still in an evolving stage here… but if Changelly wants all of our money in transaction fees, they need to build better trust into their service. And this is horrible. They say wait seven days so someone can look at it and “hope for patience”????? Seven days is an eternity in crypto.

I’m hopeful they find my $25k otherwise I’m going to have to figure out some other measures.

1. Send photo of yourself and ID
2.Send proof of where you purchased or mined the coins
3. Send tax ID

If you cant or dont wish to do the above then say goodbye to your coins. I used ChangellyExchangeBuyCrypto for 3 transactions and was flagged. While they held my coins hostage the value of the trade changed considerably, in their favor.
I was firm that after this invasion of my privacy and more importantly holding my money hostage i wanted the original coins returned as i have no interest in using ChangellyExchangeBuyCrypto. They sent the trade through and told me it was already processed prior to the security check and was out of their hands. Hash data confirmed they traded it 10 minutes after my last email and security check. Liars!
Lastly, being based in Prague means no recourse if they just decide to keep your money. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

I downloaded and reviewed ChangellyExchangeBuyCrypto just to write this 1 star review. I was trying to exchange Bitcoin for LTC using Changelly through a hardware wallet. I thought it was a cool new feature and wanted to try it. Big mistake. The interface said the transaction should take 30 minute... I’ll delete this review if Changelly reimburses me for my time and frustration.

Update: i got my money after 20 hours. Changelly blamed the delay on their exchange partner whom they refused to identify. They also refused to give me a gratuity for my troubles.

It’s been over a month now since Changelly support has had all of my transaction information and I still have not gotten refunded my money.
Support says it’s waiting to hear back from their superiors, however week after week there is no update, no ... Show more projected day by which they’ll resolve the matter, just a continual lack of answers and unknowns.
Can NOT recommend ChangellyExchangeBuyCrypto/company when after searching Google I found MANY similar stories as my own.
Maybe one day I’ll get my money back, the jury is still out....

Where is my refund??

I made a mistake and misses the memo id on the transaction. This was my bad i know. I contacted changelly through a support ticket and never really heard anything back other than an auto reply message so i went onto the live chat. The person on the chat was very helpful ... Show more and let me know what they would need to process a refund. I proceeded to send them all of the required information and then some. I was told that this would be processed in 3-7 business days.
Well it is now the 9th business day and i have yet to recieve funds. I contacted on the 7th day and they said they would be right on it. I still have heard nothing and tomorrow will be 10 days since i filled refund. At this point my money is being held by Changelly and it is inhibiting my ability to access those funds and make investments cause me a loss of money. If someone does not contact me about this i will be forced to file a complaint with the CFPB and The BBB.
It is absurd that i was given a time line and they have almost doubled it with no contact or update to me.

My first two exchange went through perfectly fine. The third one I tried to make something and I had to get live support to help me with my exchange. It took a week to finally get to. I gave three stars because Changelly doesn’t deserve anything less. This is a one-star app for a 5-star company. Their app is not a reflection of Changelly’s quality and reputation.

ChangellyExchangeBuyCrypto is still relatively new, and bugs/glitches are inevitable during the early stages. I will be keeping ChangellyExchangeBuyCrypto and adding to this review after future updates. In the meantime, I will continue to use their website.

I sent $6k in BNB to BTC from trust wallet to voyager via changelly, and it's been 22 hours, still no btc in my wallet. - update, after reaching out to support, they were able to push my transaction through manually. I did receive my 11 BNB to my wallet. I will officially give changelly 3 stars for almost giving me a heart attack, but it does work, and is not as bad as I painted out to be.

Changelly needs to tell their customers that the best way to resolve issues faster is to use the live chat feature on their website as the ticket support system takes time and it’s frustrating! It’s very helping in exchanging one crypto for another (especially if they are rare cryptos or don’t typically have a direct BTC/ETH/USD trading partner). Example - NEXO for USDC. Since my initial transaction, I have never had a single major issue with Changelly. The changes were done swiftly (only one took more than 15 minutes to proceed). ChangellyExchangeBuyCrypto is quick and usually works.
A few issues. ChangellyExchangeBuyCrypto gives an automatic message when exchanging just saying that “Once ETH is confirmed in blockchain, we’ll start exchanging it to BTC” no matter what you’re exchanging. ChangellyExchangeBuyCrypto def ... Show more needs updating. But it’s fine all-in-all.

ChangellyExchangeBuyCrypto is a very convenient companion to the Changelly website. My only complaints are that the price chart data is wrong - lower point on graph reports higher price than a higher point on the graph.

I'm new to crypto and it was a bit tricky for me at first to understand how to use ChangellyExchangeBuyCrypto, but now I see that it's much easier than any other ones! 

This exchange is faster than the speed of light! I didn't expect to get my coins within 7 minutes after approving the transaction. Rad!

So simple to convert. It'd be great if you add signing up via email as on the web version to see the full history of my transactions.
