AUTHADA Status

To complete the process, enter the TAN generated in AUTHADA on the service provider's website. this app's eID solution is certified by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) and ensures compliance with the highest security requirements.  You will need to hold your ID card up to the smartphone during the identification process and enter the ID card PIN into AUTHADA when requested.  Before using the online ID card function for the first time, you must change your ID card PIN.  In future, you will always need this PIN if you want to use the online ID card function.  With the NFC interface, iPhones can read the German identity card, the residence permit and the eID card for EU citizens.  - one of the following identity documents: German identity card, residence permit or eID card for EU citizens.  If the eID function is not activated for your ID card, you will receive a notification when using the this app app.  With the this app app, you can unlock your ID card PIN using the "Unlock PIN" function and your PUK.  You can test whether the eID function is activated for your ID card with the this app app.  If you enter your PIN incorrectly three times, your ID card PIN is blocked.  You will find your PIN and PUK in your PIN letter, which you received in the post via mail after applying for your ID card.  To identify yourself with the this app app, you need your ID card PIN.  To do this, open the website of your service provider and enter the displayed ident code into the this app app or scan the QR code with the this app app.  Personal data is only read out if it is legally required for the start of the business relationship between the user and the service provider. this app does not store your data.  Your smartphone serves as a reader for your ID card.  Therefore, enter your five-digit transport PIN from your PIN letter and then assign the new, six-digit PIN.
