Best online wallet I’ve used so far….but

It truly is an amazing and trusted wallet I will give them that. I’ve used it for more then a year now along side other wallets and I seem to always come back to atomic. Only complaint is when exchanging a few times I got significantly less which was stated. One time I had to write them daily about an exchange that I was supposed to get more and it took about 20days to get resolved. And I didn’t even get what was rightfully mine in full 🤷‍♂️ but I will say compared to other wallets their support actually is helpful and try their best. And the facts they have such a big following on Twitter and here in AtomicWallet Store gives me a little more security.
Besides the exchanges it’s a trusted wallet and once they fix this it’s 5 star for me.

Love the platform!

The platform is a great cold storage option with a majority of the crypto currency you’d want to invest in available. They are continuously upgrading the system and adding new coins regularly. One thing people need to realize is cryptocurrency is still very very new and so is the technology. However Atomic as well as other companies are trying their hardest to make it perfect. BE PATIENT! I see a lot of people complain about their coins not showing sometimes. You must wait for the transaction to settle on the blockchain. Sometimes it’s instant, sometimes it takes up to 20 minutes or longer. Either way your funds are safe! Understand that the blockchains get congested from time to time which varies transactional settlement times. This happens on all platforms. Not just Atomic. The reason I am mentioning this is because most people are fairly new to trading cryptocurrency and do not yet understand the process just yet and get scared. DONT BE! Again be patient and allow Atomic to help you! Great job atomic! I have all of my life savings into this platform and trust them 100%. This is my go to crypto platform. Can’t wait to see where atomic goes in the next few years!

An average wallet

When I first started mining I needed a wallet. I picked Atomic on my desktop from suggestions and reviews. AtomicWallet itself is designed for ease of use for sure. It’s graphic interface is easy enough for even the least educated newbie. After that the problems you’ll find as you learn are:
1) the fees are high at 5%. The easiest to use platforms all suffer this problem. The same transaction from Atomic to another popular platform can be hugely different on price. Atomic could be $15 whereas another is $2. That adds up over time, especially for newbies trading small amounts. I would use this to learn and move on if you decide to stick with crypto.
2) AtomicWallet is lacking in its accuracy. While the desktop shows the correct amount, AtomicWallet repeatedly shows the wrong amount. My ethereum mining pays out at .10 AtomicWallet will not show deposits that are up to two weeks old for some reason. No amount of closing or refreshing fixes it. Really interestingly AtomicWallet updated while I was typing this review after failing to for 7 days.

I still use it as a deposit but that’s it. The fees make it cost prohibitive to purchase coins.

App doesn’t even work properly

So many times it’s shown the incorrect amount of crypto in my wallet. Once is fine, but every time I open AtomicWallet ? Come on now, fix your app please. Not even logging out and logging back in helps show the correct numbers in the wallet or in the staking. Every time I want to check the current amount I have to delete and reinstall AtomicWallet ! Unbelievable that I even have to log out let alone delete and reinstall the whole wallet. No other wallet I have has any problems even close to this one. If you value being able to check your crypto stored in wallets and crypto stored in staking pools in real time, then run as far away as you can from AtomicWallet. Sometimes it doesn’t even let you stake despite having more than the required amount of crypto needed for staking and I have only ever had it show the correct amount I’ve staked twice!!! Not to mention receiving crypto with this wallet is slower than a snail, I wait hours for some transactions to actually show up in the wallet even though the hash says it was sent right away. If they just fixed the endless bugs and incorrect amounts then I would have no problem. Please dev team do something to help make your Atomic Wallet app useable!!!

Honest Review

Atomic wallet has a lot of coins to choose from and allows staking which is nice. However, AtomicWallet has a ton of bugs and glitches. I tried buying on AtomicWallet and an additional random $50 attempted charge kept showing up in my purchase history. Nothing ever went through to my bank thankfully and I cancelled all transactions. I also never received my AWC reward from atomic wallet from a prior transaction (it has been several days since). Additionally, stake rewards do not update daily even with multiple refreshes and other tried methods. Sometimes stakes will not show at all (again tons of bugs in AtomicWallet). I know others with the same issues when using AtomicWallet. Atomic Wallet needs to take this seriously and update their app and fix the bugs and glitches. There are too many and it is unacceptable. I may use AtomicWallet in the future, but not until it is fixed and properly functioning. Everyone else looking to use Atomic Wallet, I recommend waiting until these issues are properly addressed and fixed. There are plenty of other wallets that are functional and offer similar services.

Great. It’s non-custodial with custodial-like features

You hold your keys/mnemonics so it is NON-custodial, but have staking features and exchange features as well as support that is actually helpful. AtomicWallet itself is pretty self-explanatory once you DL and start using it, it has prompts (in most cases) just in case you are a crypto newb. About the exchange feature: if you are trading one crypto for another it is quite fair and comparable to dealing directly with an exchange (again, in most cases) if a direct trade seems like too big of a loss, might want to see if it’s better to find a short chain of trades to get best rate for the coin/token that you desire. Staking is often close to direct rates as well. Overall it’s a great all-in-one app that includes pretty much any chain you could want. Can even add coins that are not within the standard list of wallets. Thanks much to all within and associated to Atomic Wallet!

Aw is a scam! Coins missing, 12 word phrase doesnt work

Me & others who use AW have had coins stolen by AW Reps from our AW wen we initiated a support request, purchases of coins never show up in the wallet, after buying coins 50% of them are credited to our wallets, AW freezes up a lot, it sometimes takes 4 days or more for 1 transaction to go thru & normally the price of the coin you are buying has already doubled in price, Support requests are answered quickly with a referral to read FAQs or in chat rooms, in every support request they tell you to delete your AW & download a new version, because the 12 word back up phrase doesnt work. Thats right! AW scams you out of ALL your coins! They put the blame on the AW holder citing that you misspelled the words, added dashes or commas, use capitalization, etc. When you clearly used (copied/pasted) or phone screen shots of your words & entered them exactly as they were given. AW is a HUGE SCAM. Use it knowing this, Transfer your coins out of it prior to deleting it. Centralized exchanges are safest. BC Vault is highly recommended for off-line storage. Its guaranteed if you use Atomic Wallet you will lose coins or money.

Lacking.

At first, I was pretty excited to find one wallet that I could pretty much keep all of my coins in instead of having twenty wallets and forgetting what’s what and losing money. But, after using AtomicWallet , the fees are absolutely insane to do anything, and they change every two seconds, changing the minimums and everything else. It seems like there’s absolutely no method, somebody just makes a number up on the spot. Then, to make it worse, after spending literally more than I’m even sending or changing to even initiate the transactions, there’s no telling when the heck my account will even reflect the new balance. I have literally six pending transactions from the last 24 hours that STILL haven’t completed, but pulled out of my account. So not only did I pay a small fortune to trade my coins, but it didn’t even guarantee that I would receive the asset within a relatively decent timeframe. If it weren’t for the wallet having my main assets all in one platform, I wouldn’t use this wallet again until these issues were corrected.

Exchanged BSV not in my wallet

I submitted an exchange of MANA to BSV. The exchange occurred and is on a block. The problem is that the BSV still has not been deposited back into my wallet. I performed all of the Atomic suggested triages including relaunch AtomicWallet , add a VPN, remove the VPN, etc. None of these actions have placed the BSV back into my wallet. I have done other transactions before and after this one with no issue. Yes, Atomic, I know it’s secure in a block but if it’s not in my wallet then how am I able to do anything with it? It’s been over 48 hours. I’ve sent emails to support. Only one reply to try the steps I mentioned. No replies to my additional emails stating the suggested fixes did not work. Not cool. I’m actually a writer for a large crypto organization trying out various wallets.

****update****
More than a week since I reached out to tech support team at AW. No response. Just got a response to this review bya developer saying to be patient and wait because support is overwhelmed. What does that say about AW? Why are they overwhelmed? That many problems? Not enough staff? Makes a person wonder....

New review

The first time I wrote a review I was very new to crypto. I downloaded this software wallet, thinking of it as an exchange not understanding the difference. Many of my criticisms where developed without understanding miners, hash rates, volume, custodial staking or Eth fees. So I gave this wallet a very low score maybe two stars with a bad review. After many more weeks or reading, watching and daily trading exposure, I have a different review to give. My review is a five. Atomic wallet is a very strong safe wallet. Easy to use, nice in appearance applications. Trading is easy and even though the hash rates can get slow during peak trading events, and fees get higher. This is a very sold product. Safe and secure as long as you take all the precautions and protect your keys, and not stake or connect to shady sites or projects. Atomic is up there in value for me. Very good. Oh yeah and support is lively, they do get back to you.

High Fees

I like the convenience of being able to store many coins and tokens in this one easy to use app. In fact I had my miner set up to deposit all of my rewards here. My original plan was to just collect the coins while they grew in value; didn’t have much reason to move them anywhere. But now I’ve decided to stake my coins in a liquidity pool on a DEX. I’ve come to find the Atomic gas fees to be considerably higher than the market rate. For instance, the current market average is 106 gwei but the lowest I can set in Atomic is 145. A reply from Atomic on another review said that all the fees go to the miners and the set rates are there to “ensure faster service.” Well isn’t the whole point of crypto financial freedom? I don’t mind if my transaction takes a bit longer to send if that means I can save on fees. I have been waiting days for an acceptable rate from Atomic and I believe now I have no choice but to bite the bullet and make the transfer at the higher rate. Suffice it to say, I will not be using Atomic any longer for my mining rewards.

Definitely a SCAM and Impossible to navigate

Do your homework before you fall into this trap and lose your money. 90% of the positive reviews are from their own workers and the bar for how you get your coins out is constantly moving. For instance I wanted to exchange some coins, I was told by AtomicWallet I needed 14 more coins to be able to do that. I transferred those coins in and when I went to exchange them, the minimum amount had changed again. You cannot transfer or exchange ANY ETH based coin without purchasing ETH itself, but if you try and use a credit card, that offers fraud protection, it constantly fails so the keep suggesting you use your Debit Card-I/e access to your account. They are based in Estonia so good luck getting your money back if they rip you off, WHICH THEY WILL, because I haven’t been able to get my coins out at all. This is NOT legit - complaints have been filed with SEC. There is an entire subreddit devoted to it. There are better more secure and less shady wallets available. Just skip this one.

App is full of glitches

Tested Atomic Wallet out for a week and although it is a fairly easy to use app that is filled with numerous different crypto’s it is a bit faulty when it comes to the Exchange tabs. Problems I have encountered so far are coins that you exchange for other coins not appearing on your funds til several hours later. Which isn’t that bad I guess as long as your money appears eventually. The 2nd and biggest problem I encountered was that when the price on a crypto starts to sink and you try and exchange to either another crypto or stable coin , the crypto you own and are trying to get rid of will not appear in the exchange tab. This happened to me with DigiByte (DGB), when I was trying to convert it to some good ol XRP but I had no way of exchanging my DGB to anything as it was not appearing at all. My only option was to send my DGB to another wallet to exchange. Very disappointing and it’s never good when a wallet holds your crypto and keeps you from getting rid of it whenever you please. Users Beware

I love what they offer

Just about everything on AW is great, new coins offered frequently that other wallets typically don’t offer, fees are a bit high, but it is a smaller company so I don’t mind supporting.

The first real issue is the staking...When claiming the staking rewards you have to have coins in your wallet to pay for the transaction fees for rewards. It‘s be nice if they just took the transaction fee from the rewards itself. Ex, ADA, ZIL, etc.

My second issue is the AWC Token...it is an absolute nightmare to swap, move or exchange. There has to be an easier way to move/exchange it. Again with the first issue, it’d be nice to claim rewards using just the coins you’ve earned, but the fact that I need BNB in my wallet to claim seems a bit silly. And the fact that there’s 2 different AWC Tokens gets a bit exhaustive. Go to one AWC Token and make it easier to get, move or exchange and I’d happily buy a bunch more.

Atomic got me twice

I started using Atomic wallet years ago when dogecoin first became relevant. I bought a large amount of it and let it sit for a few years. When it recently jumped in price I tried to get back into my old wallet to get my dogecoin but instead it created a new wallet that became tied to the 12 word password from the old one and I lost about $13,000 worth of dogecoin. I tried contacting Atomic about it and just was lead around in circles by their customer service until I gave up. Since the market was on such an upturn I sucked it up and bought $500 more in dogecoin. It went up and today I went to exchange it for etherium and while on the exchange screen I closed AtomicWallet to check the prices online. When I opened AtomicWallet back up all of my dogecoin was gone. It had been sent somewhere and I never got any etherium. Needless to say Atomic wallet is an awful glitchy app and no one should ever depend on it for any serious financial use I would suggest any other wallet than this one.

This wallet has some bugs

This is my updated review after working with the staking side of the application. I would advise going elsewhere if you want to stake. They provide very little information on how to unstake zil. The provide instructions but they are incorrect. Once you unstake zil you have a wait period supposedly but atomic wallet has some bug that says your coins are available to withdrawal but they are not so I essentially have no way of telling when they are good to withdrawal. I am fuming right now about this because my money is essentially hijacked by this applications inability to tell me when I can get my $&$&@! money I have now attempted several times with no success. I now cannot access my zil and I opened a support ticket but no response yet and it’s been more then 24 hours. My experience has been soured with all these technical bugs and no response from support on Zil. These people need to test this more before deploying and actually provide assistance!

By

Edited review.

When I first started using it I gave it 5 stars. I’ll leave 2 of them because I’ve had fairly quick response time from their customer service, which is usually pretty helpful in resolving issues. However, they lose 3 stars because I’ve had to contact support several times over issues. This time I can’t access ATOM I unstaked 25 days ago, which is supposed to take 21 days to be released into my wallet. I had planned on selling 4 days ago but couldn’t. At this point, even being down just slightly I have lost more money than I earned by staking it for 8 months. I understand liquidity isn’t first when staking but it needs to be available when it’s supposed to be available. If I bank wouldn’t let me withdraw my money when it’s supposed to be available I couldn’t recommend it to anyone and now I can’t recommend atomic wallet to anyone either. Don’t mess with my money.

As bad or worse then Coin base!!

Only positive thing I have to say is at least they have customer service that responds to you. However they are not good at answering your questions and I’ve been getting the runaround for over a month. Let’s name the negatives here: Holding my crypto, over a month pending withdrawal and then no withdrawal happens. Fees for ZERO crypto being transferred multiple fees, multiple times. Minimum Limits on exchanges just to converge or sell coin for something else. Cant move crypto off the exchange because of holding and limits. Not answering questions but giving a response that has nothing to do with the reason they are holding your money hostage. Worse then a bank. At least I can eventually get my money off of Coin base. Not happy with this company and will not and do not recommend them. Because of all the holding and not allowing me to touch my money I also lost 100% of my crypto gains and now my portfolio is under my original investment. Thanks atomic.

Ok wallet, however not great for staking

If you’re looking for a wallet to swap coins in, this seems to be ok. The UI could be better, and sometimes it loads slowly but gets the job done!

Staking: I accidentally staked to the wrong pool, immediately tried to unstake so that I could put it into the original one and now my funds are in a 21 day unbonding period before I can touch them... where I earn no rewards.

Basically you get a higher return then exchanges like coinbase while you have them staking, however they hold your coins for 21 days when you decide to unstake, which is extremely annoying. You cannot sell while it’s in this 21 day unbonding period, which is not ideal if you would like to take profit at a certain price. Coinbase at least let’s you sell immediately while earning rewards. Unless they change this, I will not be using the wallet for staking!!

Extremely irritating

I was trying to empty my account and literally can’t. When I use the “send all” option in an attempt to clear a position in a currency, it never sends everything, always leaving like 8 cents behind. It is honestly one of the least satisfying things I can think of. I’m probably down an extra $30 in network fees just trying to consolidate all of my positions to send to a different crypto wallet bc this wallet offers no direct way to cash out into fiat currency. Although Ive had a terrible experience with this apps clunky UI, I think it certainly would prove to have a valuable use case if a consumer was looking to stake a currency for a long period of time, or could frequently use the wallet to make real purchases. Overall I would advise everyone to not download or use AtomicWallet unless the developers release an extensive update to improve the apps performance and look such that a clean path to convert positions to fiat is provided.

Outstanding Crypto Wallet & Staking Services

Supports a lot of coins & tokens and you own your private keys. They also have support for staking on quite a few projects relative to other staking as a service projects - would like to see them continue to grow and outpace the competition because this is a very convenient feature. The airdrop feature is currently down but hopefully that gets fixed soon. They have in their roadmap the addition of a Defi dashboard also so should have lots of new features added in the near future also. The native AWC token is hard and inconvenient to obtain, it would be nice to see them allow purchasing through their fiat gateway.

I lost my money on this app

I can’t believe that AtomicWallet doesn’t get back my 771Ada coin .they are updated Ada wallet to Shelly after update AtomicWallet I don’t see my money I got it from clime but didn’t get my money I’ve send my issue .my old wallet was changed after update too shelly I didn’t get my money after more than 40 emails from 12 September this is the e last answer from 17oct : Thank you for your message

I am sorry about your history issue. You are right - it shouldn’t take so long to resolve. Currently, all the efforts of our developers are thrown into solving your problem. As soon as there is news, we will inform you about it. This is a rather difficult case, which is why it takes so long. We hope for your understanding.

So many fee’s

I invested some money on Atomic wallet. I get there are fees for certain things. Which I was sure I could handle. But now I can’t get my money back out unless I add more money? It doesn’t make sense but I have U.S. coin, to the tune of about $80 give or take, and I have atomic coin. So, I wanted to withdrawal some or all of my funds. It shouldn’t matter , they are mine. Or so I thought. But I can’t transfer funds with-out etherium. So why can’t they just take some of my other digi coins and do it that way? Good question. Ask them.... Be sure to read all the fine print, and be fairly experienced in e-coins in general before putting your money here. I gotta pay to transfer what I have to etherium, then pay again to get it deposited back in my account. If in fact that’s all there is to it. Some how I get the feeling it won’t be that simple. So, my money just sits. It has.. going on 8 mos now.

-sincerely frustrated.

Far from the best

I’ve had my atom wallet for awhile now and at first I was enjoying it, then I ran into issues exchanging or sending my crypto. Unlike Coinbase, nexo or BlockFi, who take the network fee from your tokens as you exchange or move them,
Atom makes you keep the gas tokens in the wallet in order to move or exchange the tokens. Any ethereum erc20 token, like KNC, you have to have ethereum in the wallet in order to move it.
Another annoying thing is when you do withdraw your tokens, they never withdrawal the entire amount. You are always left with fractions of a cent of a token. This is the only wallet I’ve come across that does this, it’s pretty lame.
I’d go somewhere else if I were you, because once you transfer crypto in, good luck getting it all back out. I have several other wallets for interest earnings and all of them perform way better.

Best Wallet I Found

This is perhaps the best wallet I have ever used — Flexible, easy to use, covers any coin I have needed it to for storage — only wish it covered more for Exchanges — I was a little surprised that I had to have a minimum balance in Ethereum and Ripple to Exchange say EC-20 coins... not a bad thing and easy to accommodate, just a suprise — Very easy to synchronize it to other devices I use i.e...phones, ipad, computer(s) — Love it — The biggest drawback I found was trying to send in this review, all thirty nicknames I wanted to use were taken — DBIBEY

Very easy to use

I downloaded the Atomic Wallet app a little over a month ago. I have used it to transfer, hold, and purchase several different coins and it has been very easy to use. I had a problem with a cardano transfer into the wallet and with a in app purchase and the wallet was having a issue accepting cardano into wallet. I contacted customer service they explained the issue and on the last update they corrected the problem and every bit of my Cardano was deposited into my AW. 2 thumbs up all the way!
I would have given it 5 stars but I have never rated anything 5 stars in my life and will not start now.

Very pleased!! 👍🏻👍🏻

Pretty decent

I really can’t speak to how secure this wallet is BC I don’t know enough about that. But I can tell you it has worked for me thus far and I’ve been using it for many months. It allows me to store coins that ledger and coinbase don’t support. I like the feature that lets me exchange coins in the wallet pretty quickly. Customer support is also usually very quick to respond when I email them.

Here’s what I don’t like and why I only give it 3 stars:

1) it would be nice if it allowed me to enter my cost basis on the coins I keep in the wallet and then track my profit or loss on any given investment. It does not have that capability.

2) I wish they had a call center for customer support instead of having to email them and wait for a response.

3) they have a feature where you can buy crypto with a credit card, but every time I’ve tried to use it it does not work. I get a message that no exchanges are available to do the purchase and that my transaction has been canceled.

If the 3 points above were addressed this would be a no-brainer 5 star app!

I do not recommended Atomic wallet any more

This is an update to let everybody know that customer service is officially useless. They are not able to fix the problem they cannot commit to a deadline as if they are not the developer of this useless crypto wallet...... For the last 4 days my Cardano ADA wallet has lost its ability to transfer out. It shows a balance of zero available for transfer. The Atomic support team seems to be lost. They have no clue how to fix this problem but they assured me that all my ADA coins are safe on the blockchain. When I asked for a timeframe as to when they can fix this critical problem they just said “they have no idea”. Just one freaking brilliant (not) support team. As soon as this problem is fixed I’m deleting Atomic wallet permanently. I do not recommended Atomic wallet any more.

Amazing potential

The service Atomic provides is great, one of the best wallets available, but AtomicWallet ’s technical functionality is quite flawed. Just so glitchy and inaccurate most of the time.. Balances not showing up, assets disappearing then reappearing then disappearing again. Also such problems with staking and other transactions. Syncing just doesn’t work the way it needs to. I will continue using the wallet because these are mostly cosmetic and inconsequential issues but seriously, these problems must be fixed sooner rather than letter because better more seamless alternatives to AW will inevitably become available in the future.

By

High fees

The service is good and from what I hav researched the security is very good. I have transferred funds with little delay in time and I was sent a follow up message to make sure fund arrived. I would wish for a better display of current currency/market prices though. I have found fees to be very very high though, so am not completely satisfied. EDIT. Now simplex and atomic will not let me buy or internal trade, I don’t know why, and all I can do is look at a screen. So disappointed. EDIT. I can now internal trade, many months later. App needs to be upgraded, and sometimes will not connect, the circle just keeps going around and around.

Scam alert. $5 fee to buy $2.65 of ETH

Had to pay a $2.65 fee to send a different token. Fee had to be paid in ETH. Bought $2.65 worth of ETH and was charged a $5 fee. In addition to the high fee the wait time has been 30+ minutes just to convert BTC to ETH. I could’ve set up an account with any BTC exchange. Funded the account. Convert BTC to ETH for free and withdrawn the ETH from the exchange in less time. Total Ripoff. Will use a different wallet. The GUI is nice but the fees and slow service are a ripoff.

Update: I’m almost an hour into this nightmare of an app and still no sign of ETH. I’m now laughing at how completely lame AtomicWallet is. I literally thought converting BTC to ETH would be an instantaneous process. If they respond saying ETH network is slow my response is this: don’t require ETH as payment to send tokens.

Atomic Wallet is good for Beginners

I have been using this for app for few weeks now. At first, I through Atomic Wallet was bad because of few tokens was available and few staking options. There $10 minimum buy token and changing rules to exchange among tokens each other.

A lot of the token aren’t available to buy though AtomicWallet . You can’t exchange all tokens among each other. I can’t fault them for that, because how each token are designed.

NOTE: Keep up your password and wallet passwords.

Other than my nasty reviews I left a few weeks ago. (Because I forgot my passwords) I found it, I think. I would give AtomicWallet 4 out 5. You can’t exchange the “Atomic Wallet Token” other tokens for some strange reason.

NOTE: Buy some “Bitcoin”, “Ethereum”, and “XRP”. So, so you can quench the beast. The “XRP” Army are riding on horses with sword.

One of the big problems with staking cryptocurrency, is price of the tokens will go down. It all “Atomic Wallet” fault . . .

A genuine helpful wallet application

It’s far better than most crypto applications that I’ve had experience with, it’s definitely a trusted place to put your assets and still have control over them. Also it has an awesome range of coins that maybe traded on a fast and effective exchange built nicely in synch with the wallet . The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because nothings ever perfect and can’t wait too see what they will be brining in the future to include. I think based on AtomicWallet the atomic coin or token must be a viable asset to hold stakes in as well....
