P.F. Chang's Reviews

PFChangs is adequate at placing a simple order but lacks a way to put special instructions and/or deal with an issue. There isn’t a text field for special instructions and the pre-built options are too limited. There isn’t an easy way to deal with mistakes. Today I put in a delivery order and when it arrived they had forgot a couple items, I called to get a refund because there’s no way to chat with someone or put in for a missing item. The manager told me they can’t refund because the order is completed through DoorDash and I needed to contact DoorDash. I tried to contact DoorDash but the order isn’t under my account because it was made through the P.F. Chang’s app so there’s no way for me to talk to support because they require me to choose from DoorDash orders I’ve placed and that order isn’t listed because it’s through the P.F. app. I’ve sent a message to “contact us” on the P.F. app but they should have a system built in PFChangs for these occupancies because they forget items often.

PFChangs works okay however there are options available via the web site that aren’t via PFChangs . Example: ordering lunch bowls. App doesn’t let you add on soup or appetizer to the bowls however you can online. (You can order ala cart via PFChangs however at higher price than as add on.). Also, the hours/days for our local stores are not correct in PFChangs stating that they are closed on Sunday and Monday while online says they are open 7 days. I deducted two stars, one for the lack of options and one for incorrect info. I wouldn’t have even realized this if I hadn’t gone to the website to verify the hours.

I chose to reorder from my last order. It was easy I checked the food and click order. After I didn’t get my order after a while then I checked out my order details. My original order was delivery but this new order somehow turned into a pickup order. When I was creating the order, It didn’t ask any confirmation or anything. It was supposed to be the same order. But no, they change the delivery order to pick up. There is no edit, cancel order options. I called the restaurant to talk someone and change the order to delivery. No luck. They said they can’t do anything. I need to cancel or change my order from PFChangs . It was a dead end. Of course I didn’t have those options. Terrible experience!

I had everything in the cart but needed to walk to another room to find out what the last person wanted. When I reopened my phone, the cart was empty of everything I had already chosen. At check out, PFChangs encouraged me to buy more. I chose the wine and a beer. Then entered my phone #, credit card info, created an account, then hit “Process” as was told I can’t select wine or beer for delivery. I had to go back 4 screens to remove them from my choices and re-enter my credit card info to check out.

I placed my order and everything went smoothly except my order took 45 minutes longer than the time that I was promised my order would be ready. Which meant it took an hour and a half for my order. There were people coming and going and when I asked about it they admitted at the restaurant that I should have called in my order directly to them. Also there were things listed on the take out menu that weren’t listed on the website or app. Like the stir fried eggplant. Finally although they apologized for the wait, they didn’t do anything to compensate me for it.

PFChangs is absurd! It FORCES a tip for PICKUP or else the order does not go through! If you put ZERO as the tip, the order does not go through. It is a SNOW STORM and sub freezing weather today. I will walk through a storm to get my order and I must TIP!? For what? I am not dining in. No one is coming out in inclement weather to deliver the order to me. Why am I being forced to tip in order to place a TAKEOUT order?! Tipping is OPTIONAL. PFChangs makes it compulsory! Others have complained about this in the reviews so the company is on notice. I personally informed the business when I called. Let’s make this practice go away. I am deleting PFChangs straight away!!

I have had an account with PF Chang for many years but I can never log into PFChangs or even into my account online. It always tells me there is no such user or the password is wrong. I try to reset my password and it never sends me an email. I try to create a new account and it tells me an account under my email already exists. I have never had a problem with ANY other restaurant app but I have NEVER been able to log into the PF Chang app OR my account on the website. Is anyone else having this issue or just me? This has been going on for years!!!!

I was so excited to find that PF Chang’s has a gluten-free menu! I lived within walking distance from one in Hawaii while on assignment, and I ate there once or twice a week.
Now that I’m home, I figured I would keep this restaurant as my go-to. I was even more excited to find PFChangs ; I figured ordering within PFChangs for curbside pickup would save time in my busy schedule. Unfortunately, although there is an “allergy” section, there is no gluten free option and no way to add it in. This renders PFChangs useless for my needs. Deleted.

I like the thought of PFChangs but it definitely needs improvement. First, it says free delivery with x amount, I exceeded the x amount and I still paid for delivery. Second, on three occasions I’ve attempted to use a gift card but PFChangs freezes while processing the card. I am only left staring at a wok and having to turn on and of my phone with no success after several attempt. Therefore, I’ve ended up using my check card. Very unfortunate. Thus, only 2 stars for me.

I was unhappy with the area manager of the Brandon location not responding to my request for assistance so I went to the Westshore Mall location. The food was great and the sevice from Greg was excellent. Will be coming here from now on. P

PFChangs has everything in it. Went through and picked everything for my family order then was notified upon checkout that online ordering was “unavailable” at this time. I wish it would have said that prior to me putting in all my selections and information.

We like to order take out from P.F. Chang’s regularly and the order size is fairly large. There is a “re-order” function but each time I click on it I get a message “Chang’s Spicy Chicken is no longer available” and the entire order is rejected. The particular entree stated as not available varies - and the message is not accurate as those entrees are still available. Ultimately I have to re-enter every single order each time that I order. Extremely frustrating.

PFChangs is terrible (at least the most recent version is):
I cannot use gift cards to pay: Once I enter the card number, the continue button unveils the line to enter the pin, but doesn’t allow to enter it and jumps right into the never ending ‘processing’ modal icon.
You close PFChangs and it forgets the contents of the cart...
Several options from the menu just redirect to their web page. Sure, it’s easier to only maintain one implementation, but then why offering an app?

I’m deleting PFChangs and likely just giving up on this chain. Every time I order the estimated time is wrong. My food is never “warm” for taking so long to get to my car if it even makes it there. Sometimes it just sits on a shelf inside while employees merely hang up on the phones until you begrudgingly enter to fetch your own order despite being forced to tip. If I wanted to pay delivery fees and get lukewarm food, I’d doordash.

I have never tried the home delivery before. It worked smoothly ordering on PFChangs . They let me know who and what service was going to deliver and it came timely and still hot! What a great experience!!!!

App is good except sometimes the delivery doesn’t work for a certain area. They also sell certain items online that they don’t in store like the Meal for 2. The food is always amazing though, can’t complain.

Always a great experience at P.F. Chang’s!!! The staff is always polite and the management walks around and talks to the customers to find out how things are going…The food is great also …PFChangs works well too…Easy to make reservations and orders!!! Thanks P.F. Chang’s!!!

I have been In quite a few of their locations. Orlando, Schaumburg, Il. And Middleton, WI all of them great. Each one set up differently,but everyone of them best food and experience to be had.

P.F. Chang’s has always been one of our favorite places to dine. They are accommodating, make the best Mai Tais, and their food is delicious. It is a great experience for a couple’s night out or going out with friends.

So I just cannot use PFChangs on my iPad with keyboard connected.
Update for developer: You replied that you’d like to hear more about my experience, so here goes. I use an iPad Pro, connected to one of Apple’s external keyboards. That means my iPad is in landscape mode. But your app only supports portrait mode, so everything I see on the screen (in your app) is lying sideways. You need to add support for landscape mode. Hope this explains.

I have ordered a ton of times online from PF Chang’s but I decided PFChangs was probably easier, not so. It never asked me to confirm a delivery address I didn’t even see where to put one in, I just assumed it had my address on my account from my other orders. Not only did it have the wrong address it was way off, long story short I never got my food and I feel like that could easily be fixed with a more obvious address confirmation. My bad assuming it would use the last address I had food delivered to but when using an app the screen isn’t huge, important details need to be obvious and if your location accuracy is that terrible don’t make it default to that

Chose curbside as option, went to submit order, asked to confirm make and color of car, could never find the place to add that info. Had to go back out and change to pickup and then had to re-enter my Credit card info as I was adding ew payment method.

Also, when you go to add a new payment method, no option to actually save that card. Only after you submit your order does it then save it after you go back and check. Dumb.

When PFChangs was updated a few weeks ago, lots of people complained that you couldn’t put your vehicle info in and PFChangs wouldn’t let you place an order without it. I assumed that it would have been fixed by now. Nope! When I tried to order PFChangs said it would be 50-60 minutes and then I couldn’t put my vehicle information in so I couldn’t order. Instead I called the restaurant and imagine my surprise when they said my food would be ready in 15 minutes! Please fix PFChangs !

PFChangs is great so far! It’s only missing a tracking order like other apps have, and a text or phone number for the driver.
My address is complicated and if I don’t get in contact with driver as it gets closer, I usually get my food cold because they are trying to find it.

PFChangs has no value that I can see. I received 1000 points for signing up and in 2 subsequent visits the points never posted even though I gave number to server as you need to every time. I contacted customer service and they wanted me to send all of the information from receipts but one piece of info that they need is not in their own new receipts from their customer credit card app. I feel like I will have to do triple work to use this so I have decided to go to other restaurants with more friendly apps.

I was so looking forward, but experienced huge disappointments. 1. PFChangs kept removing the number of my townhouse from the delivery address. 2. P.F. Chang’s does not track when DoorDash picked up the order. 3. I waited 45 minutes after my delivery time to only be told there is nothing P.F. Chang’s can do once the order leaves them. Their responsibility ends and so does customer service. BTW - if DoorDash does not deliver you do not get a refund.

Even though my address is IN any profile for PFChangs , it auto-entered some gps address (that doesn’t exist) and at checkout when i noticed and tried to change.. it was going to re-order/charge me again... 30 min w the store and no one can see/access my order, there’s no one to call in PFChangs but the store, no way to cancel or edit order (even though it’s for tonight). This is a big deal

I was so hoping PFChangs would give better experience when ordering food, however the last issue I encountered is that when you select Curbside delivery, you can’t actually order anything because App complains that Vehicle Make is not set. There is no place anywhere where it can be set, not even account profile.

App is mediocre at tops. There’s no order tracking or anything. If you broke off from grubhub, I’d expecting a delivery service at least par to them.
Also, you should add an option to use gift cards as payment too.

App lacks basic functionality such as:

1) Can’t pay for your order with your PF Chang’s gift card.

You can buy a PF Chang’s gift card through the mobile app, but you can’t pay for your order with a PF Chang’s gift card. You should be able to pay for your order with your PF Chang’s gift card in PFChangs .

2) When you add items to you shopping cart in PFChangs , if you don’t immediately complete the purchase, they vanish from your shopping card when you return just a short time later. And you have to select your items all over again.

Hey PF Chang’s, it’s 2019, not 2009. Your apps should already enable these.

App repeatedly tells me I cannot order delivery to my address...but I’m perfectly able to order from online. No way to make comments on quality of food or delivery online or within PFChangs . If something is messed up, you’re out of luck.

No way to use gift card on it. The location tracking is bad. Just ordered and it pulled my neighbors address, when I called to update, they said they outsource the delivery and no way to change it. It’s their app???? Items are not on the menu that should be (like hot & sour soup).

For being a “nice” restaurant. Their app is terrible

PFChangs is convenient but highly frustrated that there is no tracking info. I understand that I was emailed a confirmation that included tracking but the link connects back to the P.F. Chang website and doesn’t recognize the order!

There is a comment section, that you can add special requests to your order online but it isn’t available in PFChangs
