Grabbd: Social Foodie & Travel Reviews

I’ve been a this app user for about six months now. In that time, I’ve had plenty of time to use other apps, and can attest this app is the best. It combines the best features of many apps into one, especially the map function, which allows me to group locations when traveling to. The team is highly open to feedback, and works extremely hard on improving their services for all users!

ok can i just say i freaking love Grabbd? i spend hours organizing dream vacations and places to go with friends, and i even got them hooked! there are some things i’d like to see tho:
- an option that allows us to submit a place that we can’t already find on Grabbd
- an option that allows us to submit information (location, hours, etc.) about a location w/o any
- an option that recommends people to follow in your area
- another option that recommends new places in our area
- an option that allows us to submit places into categories (vegan, outdoors, dessert) that aren’t already shown in them. since I live in a small town, the categories are pretty empty so it’d be sweet to be able to do this.

Grabbd is great for planning future trips since you can explore areas with the map and create lists of the places you want to try! I also use it to keep track of places that I have already been to and whether I like them or not

I’m not usually the type of person to leave a review but for the sake of everyone, I believe Grabbd is a waste of time. When signing up, it will not log you in through email. Only on a social media platform such as Facebook and Instagram. So I signed in through Facebook but I live in one of the most urban areas of Dallas. However, it would take a great amount of time for Grabbd to suggest me anything at all. In the end, Grabbd is slow and selective when it comes to what you are signing in through.

Great app for foodies or people who travel. I love how I can create go-to lists and send to friends and family. It also helps by keeping places I want to try or other travel lists organized! I'm always finding a new restaurants to check out. Love using Grabbd!

Grabbd has an option to sign up using an email, except once you enter your email and press continue it doesn’t actually take you anywhere. The email option isn’t an actual option because the only way you can make an account is by logging into one of your socials. Definitely don’t like that. #2, Grabbd keeps crashing on me, every page is blank and when I try to press anything else Grabbd immediately crashes. Saw Grabbd oh a tik tok but it was probably just a paid advertisement because Grabbd does nothing I guess.

I’m aware most small areas don’t have many places to go besides Walmart, so be aware that this probably won’t work for you if you’re in a relatively small area. But my main concern is how slow it is. It takes on average 2-5 mins to load a simple messages screen and to load my places to go to. Grabbd seems fun but it won’t load enough for me to even enjoy it.

I live in Tacoma, Washington and there are plenty of things to do near me. Moreover, I was looking for hidden gems and places I haven’t been before. However, Grabbd had Taco Bell and mainstream restaurants; not, hidden gems or even great small business’ like Melon Seed and T-town Cafe. this app also tried referring me ALL the way in Seattle, which is not close at all. For example, Federal Way is way closer and has a bunch of hidden gems like Ezell’s and Sub Zero ice cream. Grabbd was not worth it and DEFINITELY a one star rating.

I’ve deleted and redone loaded Grabbd over three times, and it still won’t work. Everything just keeps freezing and I can’t search anything or do anything that Grabbd offers

I would like to give Grabbd more stars but I can’t for a few reasons. When I try to add or grabb a place I’ve been it sometimes does not show up like it’s not in the database or something. I want to add places I’ve been that I love but I can’t when it says they don’t exist. Another reason is the about section at places aren’t too helpful and don’t describe what the place is.

1.) Grabbd is INSANELY slow and sometimes unresponsive. I checked my internet because I thought it may be me, nope. What about it is slow? Just about everything. Profile picture won’t upload, pictures for restaurants don’t show, and when they do, it takes a hot minute. I shared a link with my friends, very cool! Except the pictures for the restaurants WON’T LOAD.

2.) Pictures sometimes won’t load, and I have to individually tap on each restaurant to see if there are any pictures.

3.) The gray filler pictures are confusing. You’ll never know if there’s a second, or third photo provided for the restaurant, or if it just won’t load.

4.) The concept of Grabbd is very cool and easy to navigate, but it’s frustrating to use.

really wanted to love Grabbd but it was so slow and nothing was loading (and yes I was on wifi with location sharing on) - that I found myself not even being able to navigate through it. also, seemed to be some bugs with creating an account with facebook. could be really good one day though.

I use this app to track all the places/restaurants I want to visit and mark off those I loved. this app makes it super easy to keep track of everywhere I want to visit and review them after. Great tool for the foodie or traveler!

Grabbd is so great for planning trip itineraries or even looking for something to do in your own city! You get to feel like a local while on vacation and find out all the secret spots! I love it!!

So much better than Trip Advisor. It is now my go to app for reviews and recommendations.

i really like the concept of Grabbd, however i feel like it falls a bit flat for my area.
i saw Grabbd on tiktok, and was hoping that it would help me find more things to do in the area around me, however, there aren’t very many places listed for my area.
not being able to add places i know in my area for other people to see defeats the point of Grabbd a bit. you can only add comments for existing locations on Grabbd .
aside from that whole deal, Grabbd is made pretty well. it reminds me a lot of pinterest. would be super useful if it had more locations on it.

I’ve downloaded and re downloaded Grabbd a few times because it takes forever to load every page. It also can’t locate what city I’m in. Love the idea but unfortunately I got rid of it because I’m not about to wait 10 minutes for each page I click on to load

BEWARE: The only way to use Grabbd is through inter-app connectivity. You are forced to sign up through either your Facebook or Instagram account. If any users have used Tinder then you should already know unlimited access of your private and personal information is granted to Grabbd developer(s) and then sold to third parties.

I thought it was a good app? I find myself liking or adding other people’s pictures to list, but I can’t find how this is useful.

It runs slow, I cannot click or chose anything. It is a poorly made software

my city doesn’t come up on the search bar because there are too few this app places, im assuming. i tried to grabb a restaurant, but it didn’t come up in the search result. a good feature would be allowing users to add new restaurants, or perhaps something that connects with google maps.

I admire Grabbd but it is extremely slow. I thought it was my WiFi or date but it is just Grabbd . Please fix this so I can use Grabbd more
