After waiting OVER 4 hours for the “first available” doctor I am finally “next patient”.
But after waiting an hour and a half as the “next” patient I find out by researching online that my doctor has apparently left for today and just left me sitting and waiting. Not a single message, no transfer to another doctor NOTHING!!
Wonder if I left this here if when she bothers to show up for work she will find me still waiting.
Reading reviews one discovers that you can wait several hours and then get dumped to the back of another line when the doctor you are waiting for up and leaves.
Wow!! Not a way to run a business!
Won’t bother to be back since Duke doesn’t seem to actually care about patients.

Wouldn’t accept any of my credit cards and also wouldn’t let me meet with a doctor until my credit card was in. So much for getting care urgently. This is a disaster of an app with no help if you call customer service.

DukeHealthAnywhere worked really well and the service desk support was great.

The provider service wasn’t great. The provider I worked with didn’t send any follow-up information nor did they submit the Rx in a timely manner. There is no way to contact a provider directly to inquire about issues, either. You have to call a service desk, they have to submit a ticket, and you’re at the mercy of a provider to respond in a timely way.

This would be a better program if checks were put in place to ensure providers completed all tasks for one patient prior to seeing others.

A few nights ago, I tried for 4 hours to see a doctor via DukeHealthAnywhere , but DukeHealthAnywhere kept closing out on me. Several times, I was next in line to see a doctor when it closed out, and when I got back in, I was back at the end of the line for whomever was next available. I finally cancelled the “appointment,” and had a smooth experience on the website the next morning.

I love the concept of DukeHealthAnywhere , and hope the reliability improves with time! (8plus iPhone user)

I waited 2 hours (because one doctor left while I had been waiting in line for over an hour and they sent me to the back of line for the next doctor) and when I finally met with a doctor, she forgot to send the prescription. Now that I am at the pharmacy, I am calling to get support and the wait time is aprox 60 minutes to speak with someone. Very bad operations and logistics

App needs to link already established records within system, doctor had to ask many questions not available

My experience with this service has been amazing. I had a uti . My regular doctor wanted me to come in despite the coronavirus pandemic going around. I downloaded this and seen in doctor in a couple minutes for $20. My antibiotics were at the pharmacy and filled within 30 minutes of my virtual visit. I highly recommend this tele doctor.

The wait time is probably a little higher because of the current pandemic but this was SO SIMPLE to talk to the doctor and get diagnosed without having to leave the house.

I’m thankful for the hard working medical staff but also for the IT staff that set up the ability to have these types of visits. I’m sure the IT workers worked long hours considering the size of the Duke Hospital Staff transferring to TeleCommuting. Those are behind the scene heroes as well.

My visit with Dr. Porter via DukeHealthAnywhere was awesome. She was able to convey her sense of caring even though we were not in the same room. I truly appreciated the information she provided and feel safe in her care.

As a benefits manager I have recommended virtual visits to employees many times but have never used myself so this was a good experience for me. Being sick and uncomfortable enough to try this, I found it simple and quite helpful. It saved me time and more importantly I got help.

While my wife and I were on vacation in the Durham area, I discovered an insect bite that looked very much like a tick bite with the dreaded concentric red rings. The attending doctor was a consummate professional, utterly personable and pleasant, and acted swiftly to address my situation. Duke Anywhere was an outstanding service that left me with a course of treatment and peace of mind!
