Very cool!
This isn’t a stand alone app for those who poo poo on it. You need to buy the special hand held translator that costs $90. After that fully charge it pair blue tooth select your language and off you go. But you will need cellular data service or WiFi which isn’t a big issue. In most countries you can get a data mifi device or sim with a data plan which I highly recommend. Works really well and I highly recommend it when traveling or trying to communicate w someone who don’t speak your language.

When I first bought this translator, it worked poorly. Some of the translations were laughably bad, and the audio output from my iPhone was nearly inaudible. I just downloaded the newest software and what a night and day difference! Translations, at least in Spanish, are MUCH better, and the output is nice and loud. Very helpful for my job working with a large number of Spanish-only speaking clients. Highly recommend!

Good app and way to learn languages
It’s easy to set up with the app and works as indicated. Tried out several languages using just a few words and phrases in Arabic, Chinese, Spanish , and Russian. Like the way it also spells out the translations in both native and foreign language.
