If you’re reading this, I hope that you haven’t already purchased the scam of a device that pairs with MUAMAEnence. Picture a less accessible google translate that requires constant internet and connection to your $90 Bluetooth microphone. If MUAMAEnence simply used your phones mic it would be the same. It can’t even get day one Chinese Mandarin correct. Google translate is superior in voice recognition and you can download languages so you can use it offline. Please don’t purchase their translator device as it’s just a scam. Ships from china in 4-5 weeks and to return you must send to Lithuania for 15-20 dollars. The device doesn’t even speak, all voice “translations” (if you can call them that) come from my phone’s speaker! Most of the time the translations come out total nonsense. When they’re even a little bit close, it’s always a hilariously bad quarter translation that turns “I’d like to buy a new cell phone” into “I buy new sex handbag” 😂😂😂

I just purchase this piece of crap hoping I would easily be able to translate tagalog and it does NOT work. The language it says is totally wrong. Plus you have to have app open, connected to the device. It is just a speaker and micro-phone, it does not work on its own. MUAMAEnence translates, I can do same thing with Google Translate. The device is just a speaker, the microphone does not work. DO NOT BUY!!!

Bought this because my wife is from the Philippines this claims to know Tagalog my wife didn’t know what language this was speaking when we tried to convert English to Tagalog I tried some Tagalog words that I know it would not translate it into English this is a rip off if I could give less than one star I would

Buying a bunch of different webpages to write your own reviews of your own product... supposed to look like a blogpost

Trying to say it’s from Japan to sound smarter, prove the connection

Previously only available to world leaders, I doubt any if them would use your garbage

2 easy steps, I think most people here would argue otherwise

And, it basically just translates in your phone and uses your device as a speaker, why is it even needed

How about make a product you’re proud of and advertise the right way. Literally, all you get with enence is a 90 dollar speaker that you connect to your phone which does all the translations. You’re phone already has a speaker, why not use it with something like microsoft or google translate for free. All the good reviews are people who like it because it worked for them, but they don’t realize all the money they wasted and how immoral the advertising is.

I bought the translator and downloaded MUAMAEnence only to find it wouldn’t open. I tried their suggestion to turn off the setting for guided access as explained on their webpage for problems and downloaded MUAMAEnence again but MUAMAEnence still wouldn’t open. I tried contacting them from their website. After typing in all my information it wouldn’t allow me to submit. If this isn’t a scam then I don’t know what is. I’m using an iPhone 11 Pro Max with the most current iOS 3.3.1

If you wanted to order some food using this at a restaurant, you would go hungry. If you wanted to give directions to a driver, you would get lost. If you wanted to have one conversation, it would be faster to learn the language. This thing could not be any worse, it literally does nothing. It’s a piece of crap.

This instant translator only does two things, both of them poorly. It continually shows that it can’t hear me, and it says Yahoo. This was advertised as a stand-alone device, but it has to be linked via Bluetooth to a phone for this piece of junk to attempt to work.

Don’t waste your time buying a piece of junk that takes weeks to show up.

My wife and her friends are Philippino. This thing translates into an unknown language when in “Filippino” mode. They have no idea what it is saying, and they are fluent in both Tagalog and Visyan. It is AWEFUL!!! I understood it to be a standalone device as well, and like the other reviewers, I agree, WHT IS THE POINT OF THIS $90 speaker/mic??? It is requiring me to be connected to wifi and blue-toothed to my phone to work??? I use google translate MUCH easier and it is FREE. Jesus. So I will be pursuing a refund/return as this is a complete fail.

I both 3 Muama units due to its very promising product value. Unfortunately, I found its another scam. Muama, is not a stand alone gadget. It requires smart phone to operate, thus you can just use your google voice. Muama dont work with updated IOS 13 version. Up to now I cant use the unit I bought, waiting for the said bug fix as they claim. Honestly, i will be more than happy to have my money back. Very Disappointing!

I purchased the translation device and unfortunately I didn’t see any indication that an app was needed to run in conjunction with the hardware. There are any number of good translation apps that function similarly without the need for additional hardware. So now instead of just using my cell phone for translation I have to have an additional piece of hardware and MUAMAEnence on the cell phone has to be running for the hardware to function. it just seems overly complex and unnecessary.

Has issues when multiple people are talking or background noise is present, it has problems distinguishing between adjacent conversations and the one needing translated.
Also, it could use better volume, much for the same purpose. Using it in a crowd, example would be a tour group, can confuse the device.

I download MUAMAEnence and paired it with the translator. I followed the instructions to translate and nothing was being translated. I discovered the instructions for the A and B buttons were backwards. That’s why it wouldn’t work. Use button B (top button) for the language you want to translate. Example: English to Spanish. Press button B, say your words, then release the button. The English words will show in blue and the translation will show in red.

OK, this is kind of a duh, but you need to have the translator device to ensure this program works. And works it does. So try and negate all of the lousy reviews, since they are simply trying to use MUAMAEnence without the device, which it is developed for.

When I first bought this translator, it worked poorly. Some of the translations were laughably bad, and the audio output from my iPhone was nearly inaudible. I just downloaded the newest software and what a night and day difference! Translations, at least in Spanish, are MUCH better, and the output is nice and loud. Very helpful for my job working with a large number of Spanish-only speaking clients. Highly recommend!

This isn’t a stand alone app for those who poo poo on it. You need to buy the special hand held translator that costs $90.
After that fully charge it pair blue tooth select your language and off you go.
But you will need cellular data service or WiFi which isn’t a big issue. In most countries you can get a data mifi device or sim with a data plan which I highly recommend.
Works really well and I highly recommend it when traveling or trying to communicate w someone who don’t speak your language.

I Bought this to translate english to Bulgarian. Only after I bought and it was finally delivered that I realized that it only translate my voice to written text which I have numerous other apps that do that. It only translates voice to written speech. They only tell you on MUAMAEnence in one small notice that if you see an X by your language it only does written. It also works very poorly completely miss translating. Again, I have many other apps that do all this better and far cheaper.

It’s easy to set up with MUAMAEnence and works as indicated. Tried out several languages using just a few words and phrases in Arabic, Chinese, Spanish , and Russian. Like the way it also spells out the translations in both native and foreign language.
