Just poor service

It’s a good idea but they couldn’t execute it. So many delivery issues sometimes 2 1/2 hrs waiting, sometimes it says delivered and no food, all kinds of problems. The customer service support is very poor too in the chat. U will b using it a lot because there’s so many delivery issues and instead of helping they will simply stop answering. Too frustrating I’m done with it and looking for a reliable alternative

Cancel my order and stole my money

I added money to my wallet using my Scotia creditcard. When I tried to use the money to buy lunch for my colleagues in Kingston, they canceled my order and didn’t return the money to either my wallet or my bank. I can’t reach anyone as they are not responding to my email or livechat. There is no working telephone numbers for them. This is the WORST food service and delivery app. I do give them kudos for building the 1st food delivery service in Jamaica but they need to be honest and not steal people money and lie about it.

Poor Service

I have been using 7Krave for about 3 years now, recently everything as been awful especially for the food delivery.

Recently 3 out of the 5 orders I placed within the same week the orders came incorrect (island grill, and KFC). I have complained about this numerous times. It was the last straw for me. I tried reaching out to the team no one answered specifically asked to speak to a manager and no one answered! Service is complete trash. No one cares , all about getting your money and that’s it.

Don’t even download this app

Let me save you from wasting your time and getting your money taken from your account and not receiving your order. I have been waiting for 4 hours, this company has happily taken my money and I cannot receive the order or any update from them. On Monday I will have to call the bank to dispute the charge. They don’t even have a phone number you can call.

I’ve been robbed. If you check their Instagram account, you will see I am not the only one either.

NO CUSTOMER SERVICE IF A PROBLEM ARISES

First two orders went great. Third time, I received the wrong thing. I used their live chat in-app option to inform them since they don’t answer phone calls (I’ve been calling for about two days now). A “Samantha” said “it was a honest mistake by the restaurant” and that “an agent is going to reach out to you shortly”. NO ONE HAS CALLED! This was Wednesday evening, December 9. Seriously? They have three numbers listed in 7KraveFoodMarketplace and not one picks up. Absolutely trash. Kmt I understand mistakes happen but to not address my issue is a commonality among many Jamaican businesses and I’m TYAD of it. Today, I can confirm that 7Krave is no different.

Unprofessional

Multiple times this company has let me down despite me always trying to do my best and be patient and be understanding imagine I placed this order over an hour and half ago and was called to be told there’s no more boiled food after so long waiting. I had received a call earlier stating no plantain I said okay fine but to also be called decades later to be told no boiled food after waiting patiently for so long honestly u have to wonder if it’s bcz I’m apart of the smaller class that order my one and two orders is not worth the trouble of being updated. Yall really need to look into the integrity of ur business and appreciate peoples time honestly. Have a great day

Excellent Customer Service? (NOT!!)

7KraveFoodMarketplace is very user friendly. They keep good communication on both phone and chat via 7KraveFoodMarketplace to ensure excellent communication with us as customers. You guys are super quick with responses BUT, unfortunately my order was not complete. The rest of my order wasn’t given to me until the next day. And at that point, it was such an inconvenience because it was nothing besides when the main course was eaten the day before. If anything I should have gotten at least a partial refund or a full order for free but 7Krave did absolutely nothing in respect to ensure my customer satisfaction.

App needs improvement

90% of restaurants listed in 7KraveFoodMarketplace were ‘closed’ but I was unable to only search the open restaurants. Made scrolling through the available options a bit challenging. Secondly, after placing an order of 3 separate dishes, I went to hit the pay button when 7KraveFoodMarketplace prompted that one item was available for purchase. Cool. I went and changed it only to be prompted that a second item (in the original order) was also unavailable. It would be more efficient if 7KraveFoodMarketplace could let customers know all the options that are unavailable at the same time.

Confusing payment method adding

7KraveFoodMarketplace is solid enough…except that it does not have a very intuitive way of dealing with payment methods. Its buttons are way too small, even for my slender fingers, and it took quite a lot of patience and mental gymnastics to finally put in a card to make the order. Admittedly it was during the no movement days of September 2021 (Sept.7), so maybe that may have added to the frustration.

Everything else though was a dream. So I can only see each update getting better.

Suggestions

I know 7KraveFoodMarketplace is a good app because I knew it through a friend. However, 7KraveFoodMarketplace is not available to certain locations and I feel left out because my location isn’t available on 7KraveFoodMarketplace . I would really like to use 7KraveFoodMarketplace to get food because I really don’t feel like going out most times. I’m looking forward to an upgrade for 7KraveFoodMarketplace where many more locations will be available to 7KraveFoodMarketplace so more people can get their favorite meal using this service.

Works half way, needs improvement

It is good that you can order in 7KraveFoodMarketplace menu, and that restaurants can deliver you, but seems like restaurants don’t have a way to update their menus if something is not available, then you finish talking to a person in order to complete your order, so turns back to a phone order. Anyway is good that they call you instead sending anything (that seems to be an option in 7KraveFoodMarketplace ).
Also to restaurants, I like options but sometimes I only want something to eat ASAP, not a infinite list of options that will take me half hour reading and matching together, make some lunch boxes, combos, meals or however you want to call it.

Fix international cards, improve UX

Literally cant use my card in 7KraveFoodMarketplace even though it lets me add it and charged me the test auth charge. Just won’t run my card for orders. Ending up switching to my local card because I still wanted to order but of course the interface didn’t switch back to JMD automatically and I ended up charging USD to my JMD card at a stupid rate.

User error? Sure. Bad UX? Definitely. We are both at fault but it costs me. When a card is registered you ask for currency so you have the information to automatically switch currency when a card is selected. Don’t be lazy. Think of your user before your user thinks of the competition. Who will also read this review they’re smart.

Could be better

It didn’t start off bad but when I’m missing something from my order I have to reach out to customer service 8 times in a week to get my refund. Not sure what’s happening but they need a better system so the refund can be done as soon as it’s reported cause I hate feeling like I’m begging for my money.

Communication

After placing your order you realize there is no contact # to speak with anyone. Not to mention my order was placed over two ago and still have not received it i will never use this service again this is the second time this has happened

7Krave is Great!

7KraveFoodMarketplace is pretty easy and intuitive, the updates have led to many improvements over the past while. I feel secure in ordering things too, while I don’t with other platforms. However, some restaurants need to update their menus more often.

Very good app

7KraveFoodMarketplace is wonderful. Clean and easy to use interface, very few glitches. The only thing is paying with card, it always takes forever and prompts me to cancel and try again, but when I leave it to process for a few more minutes, it goes through. Wish this would be fixed as it is very discouraging. I’ve cancelled my order many a time because of this message, before I figured it out.

Adding a card is a nightmare

Adding the card requires you to input the value taken from your card by the bank and that is not quick. I have tried for months and ended up using cash today. It was not like that before

Exceptional Service every time

I love using this company to order food. I always get timely and exceptional service every time we use this service. I love that I can track my order through 7KraveFoodMarketplace or if I booked through the website someone will call to let me know my order has been received. I love it!

LOOK NO FURTHER!!

I’ve used 7KraveFoodMarketplace so many times and never have I ever had any issues with my delivery. Sure they may have been late once but they called to let me know! Awesome service and easy to use platform!

Excellent App combined with great customer service

I decided to write this review because I appreciate the consistency of the service 7Krave provides. At all points of contact I receive exceptional service. The web and mobile platforms are user friendly, the team that calls me(for varying reasons) are always polite and friendly and the delivery men are also friendly and ensure they represent the 7Krave brand well.

The delivery time varies of course but never unreasonable based on where you’re ordering from. However if there are any delays I always get a call from the team. The food is always in the desired temperature as if I had bought it at the restaurant myself.
