Unfortunately I have no more faith in EversourceEnergy than I do in the company's website. Neither worked properly during this outage, so I certainly won't activate EversourceEnergy to use for billing either. Inconveniently eversource's phone reporting is down too, so I can't tell if this is a poor app or a poor company. Either way, this gave me no extra faith when it was really needed.

EversourceEnergy is just another way to pay bills. That’s it. It achieves what your online banking app already achieves. What I have always been looking for is a way to track my electrical usage. That yearly long graph should be available right on the home screen. I still have to click into the bill. Which you can’t zoom in on without it distorting. To track my electrical usage. How much I am up or down in usage. And where I compare to other uses like national grid does. The biggest advancement they’ve made is you can use your fingerprint to log in. Yippie!

I installed EversourceEnergy because I tried to report an outage at my home, but their website kept telling me they could not find my account, even though I was logged in. So I thought EversourceEnergy was they way to go. I logged in with EversourceEnergy and it surely tells you when your next bill is due. But when I tried the Report an Outage feature it kept saying “Error, try again later” !!
What good is EversourceEnergy if it can’t take your outage report. What a joke. Do they have any one in IT there?
Don’t bother with EversourceEnergy until they fix this issue.

I am only giving this low rating to see if the programmers will do something about a minor but irritating problem. If you use facial recognition to sign in and then sign off, EversourceEnergy immediately jumps back to “sign in” mode and signs you back in. The only way to “sign off” is to tilt the phone so it can no longer see your face and try to hit the “sign off” button...not actually very easy. Otherwise, I like EversourceEnergy . It’s silly for a reasonably good app to have a goofy little defect. Fix it, already!

EversourceEnergy has been crashing for the past month, if not longer. I downloaded it for the convenience and ease of having my account right on my home screen but every time I click it, it shuts down forcing me to have to go into a browser and enter my info (first world problems, I know). For such a large company, it should go without say that you would have up-to-date technology.

EversourceEnergy is useful and it’s build is fine for what it is but the constant login errors make it utterly useless. I haven’t been able to login for weeks. Sometimes deleting and reinstalling works but eventually right back into login errors. The website works fine but is a hassle to use compared to the convince of an app…need to get this fixed. Other reviewers have also commented on this issue but seems nothing is being done. Too bad..

App has little functionality except to view a monthly PDF of your bill (blurry!), your charges and pay your bill. No usage tab to show last 2-3 years’ KWh used. Monthly history headings on (paper) bill are not consistent: “June June Aug Aug Sep Nov” making comparisons on the bill history chart harder; and they only show 13 months. Avg temp/month shown but would be more useful if usage was shown per degree-day. Chart shows average *daily* rate when I’d like option to see monthly use rate (on 13-month chart). Most of all, SHOW THE SUM OF ALL THE DELIVERY CHARGES in the subtotal line so I don’t have to add them all up every time to see what the monthly delivery rate was!

EversourceEnergy provides my billing history which is the reason I downloaded EversourceEnergy . However, EversourceEnergy looks terrible on a standard size iPad and landscape mode doesn’t work. Also, I received an error when trying to view my bills (current and previous. The billing history tab on the same screen did work. I look forward to future updates of EversourceEnergy .

Need to identify service (Gas, Elec, etc) associated with bill number. Log out immediately returns you to log in screen where if you’re using Face ID you’re immediately logged back in. Need separate log out screen or delay before Face ID logs you back in.

Glad there is finally an app but you can only pay on it using bank account info, if you wanna OT with your debit/credit card you still have to go to the actual site
by FriterNuggets
Two years ago it was noted credit and debit card payment through EversourceEnergy was being actively worked on, still can’t do it. And I tried to add my gas account to my profile and got an error message the account number had to be 11 digits…nope, mine is 10 digits, I can’t create an extra digit out of thin air 🙃

Good start with EversourceEnergy, but still missing needed features. Needs a feedback section within EversourceEnergy specific for app support (not service). Needs an option to pay two accounts / bills together like gas and electric. Better pdf bill viewer.
Not a bad app to start, but needs improvement.

EversourceEnergy would work much better for me if it had an option for credit cards. Since it doesn’t, I’ll probably never use EversourceEnergy .

It’s better than using a browser for sure but it would be nice to show the usage details more clearly and allow us to pay with credit card as an option. Also alerts for when the bill is ready and due would be nice.

Nice work, Eversource (CL&P). This is a good functional app and way easier to use than your website. The only negative is the outage map. I still don’t understand how that works and it’s not useful at all. I’d rather see a list of all the outages by town in alphabetical order.

It is very good and useful app but not as useful as the website. It doesn’t allow me to make a payment with credit or debit card. Only I can add bank accounts. On the website I can do credit card payments as well. If you guys add that feature too, it would be nice
by Rickgains1
EversourceEnergy works well. The only suggestion I give is to have an option to pay with a credit card. I am allowed to use my credit card when I am logged on using the web browser. It would be beneficial to pay the bills, if the credit card option was on EversourceEnergy .

Love EversourceEnergy ! Very clear and able to take care of everything for the most part. Only downfall is that Eversource bought out our gas company and EversourceEnergy does not support or allow access to my gas bill through the actual app, I have to log on online. You should make it so people can easily transition through both utility accounts on EversourceEnergy , the same way you can cycle through various electric accounts. Overall good app!

This is exactly what I have been waiting for from Eversource. You can pay your bill, see past statements, and even report and check for outages. I like that it’s fully functional and not just the mobile website in an app. Would love to see the Energy Savings Plan added in sometime in the future. Besides that, this is great!

Simple, quick and very easy to use. Using EversourceEnergy is a great option for when I do not have access to my laptop

Had EversourceEnergy for 2 months no problems though it doesn’t have many features until now uninstalled and reinstalled several times keeps saying log in error but no problem when I sign in on the website. I use apps for convenience and fingerprint log in when I can’t do that without repeated hassles then I uninstall an app and I did. You can get more info from the site or just call without the hassle👋🏻

This is useless and frustrating. I have no problem logging into the website. Yet when I attempt to log into this , I get an error message that says my account # is not linked to this user ID.
At that point, you’re on your own...no help.

When paying bills, there is no way to add 1$ for neighbor helping neighbor.
Statement graphics are poor.
It would be good to have a usage graph independent of statements that provides more history.

Bill PDFs appear blurry when zooming in. No ability to pay by credit card.
