I really like how this has wallets and that through receipts I can track expenses.

BUT I was curious about what I could do if I linked my bank. So I went into that feature and it was easy to link my account. But I was never asked or told that I was automatically enrolled in a SUBSCRIPTION.

So I fiddled around with the one bank wallet I added and I could do NOTHING with it. I went to tutorials and there was no video showing what you could do with the PAID addition of your bank.

Needing to leave my house I closed BudgetAppExpenseTracker to figure it out later. When I opened it again suddenly all my bank accounts had been added ... AGAIN automatically without my permission. While trying to delete my bank from BudgetAppExpenseTracker a window popped up and said I was SUBSCRIBED to a free month.

Crap. So I went to my Apple subscriptions and it’s not there...?!?!?!?

I did finally figure out the convoluted method of deleting my bank. But this developer IS NOT transparent. I wasn’t told I was subscribing to anything. There was NO CLEAR way to delete my bank. And the subscription doesn’t appear in your Apple subscriptions right away.

I BELIEVE THIS IS A SCAM. It’s a handy app if you BE CAREFUL and NEVER add your bank.

Tried categorizing my credit card charges and it changes it all to income instead of an expense. My entire business is ran through a credit card and was hoping to categorize my expenses on the card alone, however it won’t let me change it to expense at the top. Wish I wouldn’t have paid for it off the bat.

If we use the monthly budget, the expenses show up in the correct month. If we use the weekly budget, when reviewing the budget even though the screen shows the week names, it’s really showing you the monthly spend. Create a new wallet. Enter one transaction for two months ago, one for last month, and one for the current month. Set a weekly budget, and then go to review spend versus the budget. The current week will be showing you the current month’s spend, the previous week will be showing you the total previous month’s spend, and two weeks ago will be showing you the total spend from two months ago.

If you’ll update BudgetAppExpenseTracker , I’ll gladly revise this review, because otherwise it’s a great app and exactly what I was looking for!

I looked over multiple expense apps and chose this one since it listed a bank sync feature for US/Canada and looked easy to use. After looking around for 30 minutes there was no bank sync available and when I inquired with support it took them 10 messages and several days to finally tell me it’s not working and they are unsure if/when it will. (Support initially didn’t know they had that feature so I had to explain with screenshots of BudgetAppExpenseTracker Store and then developers confirmed). I waited a bit to see if the new updates would help but unfortunately no.

Although BudgetAppExpenseTracker was otherwise great and easy to use, BudgetAppExpenseTracker doesn’t function for me like I need and I will look for another app.

I am the world’s worst at remembering to enter transactions in an app. I need the bank connection to help me keep track of expenses. Alas, BudgetAppExpenseTracker falls short. There also does not appear to be any dedicated support for BudgetAppExpenseTracker … everything goes to their Bookipi Invoice app support. No way to report bugs that I could find, but you can vote on which new feature you want to see next. No way to reset your password, either. Again, only for the Invoice app. I wanted to take BudgetAppExpenseTracker for a test drive and gave it two stars for looking like it might be a good one, but I will be canceling my subscription.

We were setting this up when we were logged out. This happened before our password was set up. When we tried to log back in it said too many log ins. We emailed for support but have heard nothing. If you were planning to use BudgetAppExpenseTracker for business/personal planning (which we were) waiting for days for a response to an email is unacceptable.

I like using BudgetAppExpenseTracker in conjunction with the invoice app. BudgetAppExpenseTracker is great so far, with the exception of no landscape support on the iPad. BudgetAppExpenseTracker only supports portrait orientation, which makes it impossible to use it with the magic keyboard or smart folio keypad attached. This is important when doing a lot of data entry, for multiple expenses.

BudgetAppExpenseTracker is beautiful. However if these key features were added it would really make it stand out even more:

BUDGETS:

1. Separate these! Allow me to see how much I have left on each separate budget. I do not like how it joins budgets and does not let me see the remaining amount in the budget.

2. Allow me to delete a budget (does not let me do it unless I delete the whole wallet)

3. Add a payment method/ used account option and a filter that lets you filter out transactions made with whatever account you chose. EXAMPLE: see all the transactions I made with chase.

You guys add those three simple features and you’re golden. Till then, I will stick with Airtable though. Thanks Devs!

I LOVED BudgetAppExpenseTracker... now it’s glitchy and the camera only works for one transaction then it quits. I’ve tried closing and restarting; doesn’t fix it. I have to totally turn off my phone and relaunch BudgetAppExpenseTracker ... I loved BudgetAppExpenseTracker until this. WILL FIX THE REVIEW ONCE ITS FIXED and my iPhone XS is almost new and this is the only app that does it so it can’t be the phone

The only problem i’ve found with BudgetAppExpenseTracker is that it doesn’t let you add any amount under a dollar. I get cash back on one of my cards and sometimes it will only be a couple of cents and i’m never able to add the income to an account! It gives me an error that tells me to enter “valid numbers”. Makes keeping up with the exact amount on my card hard.

Love love BudgetAppExpenseTracker! Only thing that needs improvement is updating it with the iPhone 15 screen. The tabs at the top of the screen when imputing a purchase or deposited are mixed with the iPhone info tabs at the top and make it hard log the information

Trying this out to manage receipts for my small business for tax purposes. Mostly I like it, but it needs the ability to scan multi-page receipts and also to split categories and $ amounts for different category items on the same receipt. Not sure if this backs up to anything—is like it to be my sole storage for receipts but I’m afraid of an app crash losing my important tax data.

So far I’m loving BudgetAppExpenseTracker . It’s easy, clean, and free without annoying ads. I wish I can arrange my wallets though. Or please tell me if that feature already exists lol. Also I wish BudgetAppExpenseTracker could incorporate 3D touch to entering expenses and incomes, so I don’t have to open BudgetAppExpenseTracker . BudgetAppExpenseTracker is already really great by the way! Thank you for creating it!

Great app for my business expense tracking. However can you please allow us to be able to upload documents of receipts instead of just the ability to take pictures?

I don’t review apps that much but BudgetAppExpenseTracker wow really just surprised me with its abilities.
One of the best user friendly app I have ever used and definitely deserves a 5 star rating !! Just try it one and see how fantabulous it is !! You can delete it in seconds if don’t match my words!!

I have been searching for a good expense tracking app for a long time and finally I found this one. This is exactly what I’m looking for! One little suggestion: it would be better if the currency of each wallet could be separated. Hope you guys won’t give it up because I’m counting on it to track my expenses from now on!

Best bill expense app tried so far, very well thought out, was able to use without any difficulties right off the bat.

Only wish when you check reoccurring it automatically populates from your past billers so you don’t have to retype information. I’m lazy that way!

I strongly recommend you try BudgetAppExpenseTracker for yourself and get your fingers wet.

Make a feature that allows you to input an icon to categories

I’m really enjoying using BudgetAppExpenseTracker. It’s easy to use and has very simple and clean interface. I like that you can save a picture of your receipt in the transaction. It also allows you to create a budget. It would be nice to have multiple budgets within a wallet though (they are currently working on it). And to also include in the budget the categories that were added/created by me. And be able to create/add/choose icons on new categories I create. Other than that, it’s a really great app to use!

i love it! i wud give it a five star BUT .... the touchscreen lock thats supposed to hide whats inside, it kinda show for a second when u first open BudgetAppExpenseTracker then disappears n hide the content like its supposed to after that...

in which its not really a big deal cos its not like i really need it to be hidden but still, i feel like its useless to use the touchscreen lock if its just gonna show the content anyway even for a second so tat disappointed me... cos i loveeee the feeling that my stuff is hidden even if its just sm dumb finance organizer ... still i like the feeling that its “private” cos theres a lock yanno

PLEASE can you FIX THIS! ik its not really a big deal cos i download BudgetAppExpenseTracker to organize my finances in which it does PERFECTLY N CONVENIENTLY and ITS FREE n thats the whole reason for BudgetAppExpenseTracker BUT I WANT IT TO BE A LUXURY EXPERIENCE WHEN USING IT
