What an incredibly helpful resource! I have an Airbnb property and keeping up with linens takes up so much time. this app has been a game changer for turning over the property in a short amount of time while also staying within my dedicated cleaning budget. As soon as guests check out I fill my hamprs with sheets & towels and place an order at the Airbnb property. The order is quickly claimed and the washer efficiently returns the order within exactly 24 hrs. I can put away fresh & consistency folded linens before my guests arrive! No more hauling laundry to my home and back. Added bonus is that you can “favorite” a washr! My favorites go above and beyond with their service, often leaving a personal note that brightens my day!

I have 3 kids and both my husband and I work. I started using this service in 2020 in The Woodlands to try it out and I never looked back. We were so happy to be able to continue using the service when we moved to Lafayette, LA. After two years of never having to do laundry, I don’t think I could redshift my life back to adding laundry to my to-do list. The extra time getting my laundry done by this app affords me to have less on my mental load and more time on the weekends to play and be with my family and not be tethered to my laundry room playing catch up. And the washr community is top notch. Always reliable and the clothes folded so perfectly.

Their hampers are the perfect size for my and my son’s loads of clothes and towels, and my AMAZING washr packed my laundry back into them so neatly that it was easy to put everything away. One of our favorite washrs even includes fun stickers and goodies when returning orders! The same day service is also a lifesaver for our household.
Go ahead and treat yourself to this app, it’s the best thing you’ll ever do!

I recently went back to work after being a stay at home for 3 years. Being so out-of-rhythm with this new schedule has definitely shown in my lack of ability to keep up with the mountains of household chores that seemingly pile up over night. Thankfully, this app to the rescue! This has been one thing I’m now willing to “splurge” on so that I can keep a bit of weight off my shoulders and spend more time with my 3 kids. Every washr I’ve gotten has been great, but I have one favorite that always goes above and beyond for me. This is so worth it for my family!

There’s no better relief after having a super stressful day at work than coming home and having ALL of my laundry clean and so beautifully folded!
The piles of laundry in the corner of our room are GONE! I just receive my order, hang up the clothes I asked my washr to hang up, and put the rest of my folded clothes into our dressers! I went from spending an entire afternoon sorting and folding, to the seconds it takes for me to put my this app order away.

I was skeptical using the service at first. I don’t have kids and it felt like too much of a luxury to pay for… I WAS WRONG. Call it self care ❤️

I’m a first time mom and I have a full-time job. Laundry is my most tedious and hated chore. this app has truly been a life saver. It’s the easiest thing and takes such a load off my back! I can place my order, get them picked up and brought back clean, folded and in 24hours! It gives me such a relief for my hectic schedule and I get to spend more time with my family. It’s truly just 1 less thing I have to worry about and I’m grateful that the 1 chore I hate the most I don’t have to do anymore.

I am completely obsessed with how much of a weight hampr has helped take off my shoulders. Super simple to place an order with them of my unwashed clothes & receive them 24 hours later washed & folded. I’m an expecting mom & can’t imagine how much of a help it’ll be when baby gets here. 10/10 would recommend to everyone!!!!

this app has been a big time saver for me. As a busy guy I don’t have the time to think about Laundry and I’ve used laundromats before that wash my clothes but the time it takes to plan the drop off and pick up was not worth it to me. Having laundry delivered to my door is very easy and those folds are amazing! Thanks

Laundry is (was!) my most hated chore. So totally worth it to me to outsource this task! My laundry has always been delivered on time and so neatly folded. I look forward to completely cutting ties with my laundry machine😆

My little family is constantly overwhelmed by laundry. I am so thankful that hampr provides an easy and speedy way to take care of laundry. We have been very satisfied with the service and on the one time we did have to reach out to customer service they quickly fixed the issue. Some things to be aware of:

Even though you have to wait for your order to be picked up (not unlike Uber for example) we have always had someone agree to take our order immediately.

We do our towels and hang dry items ourselves to cut down on bulk and save money.

We just use these as our regular hampers and have separate hampers for delicates and towels so that when they’re getting full we know it’s time to sign up for service.

Even though your laundry may be picked up by a different person each time, we have settled into a routine of “usuals” who gather our laundry and each of them does a great job!

Laundry has always been a headache for our family, so this service is a God-send! It might be helpful for first-timers to know that if your order isn’t claimed by the beginning of your time window it will be cancelled, and you need to re-submit your order. Overall hampr is easy to use, but I have two suggestions for this app to make hampr and service work a little better. 1) of an order is cancelled allow for the user to “resubmit the same order for a different time slot.” Twice I placed an order that wasn’t picked up, and I wasn’t at home to scan the tags again. I decided t take a picture and print them off so I would have them next time, but that’s inconvenient and easily fixed. 2) There should be an option or button for me to tell the washr it’s ready for pick-up and for the washr to be able to drop it off early if they want to. I place my this app’s outside as soon as I place the order, so my washr could easily pick them up early if desired, but there is really no option for that. Thanks!

I recently moved into an apartment that has no laundry services available. I saw this app as an exciting new way to have my laundry done conveniently, as I want to avoid laundromats. I bought the membership and patiently waited for the Hamprs to arrive a week later. I opened the Hamprs up to see that they were an OK size, probably around half of what a normal “hamper” looks like, not nearly enough for an actual full load. Down to the actual reason why this is a 1 star review, they actually charge for each. Individual. this app. They send you 4 Hamprs initially with the option to buy more. The charge for each this app every time you get service is around 15-20 dollars. That means if you want to do a fill up each this app every month, it would be close to 80 dollars at least. If the prices were reduced so that I could at least *afford* it, I would gladly consider using this service. In the meantime, this is far too expensive for anyone without access to a washer/dryer.

When I first tried this app to get a couple loads of backed-up laundry done, I was hooked. Our washer, Rhonda, washed, dried, and professionally folded everything MUCH better and much more quickly than I ever could have done. I think Rhonda and I are now BFFs. 😂 My husband has severe health problems, so using this app has given us much-needed quality time!

My last review was deleted, so I’ll try again. I’m incredibly disappointed to have paid a $40 membership fee to have only 1 of the past 6 orders I’ve placed claimed. The one order that was picked up was retuned late, wrinkled, and incredibly poorly folded. I was offered a credit when I reached out to customer service, but I haven’t even been able to use it because my orders are never claimed. I had really high hopes for this service because it’s a great concept and very much needed! I was so excited to let go of the stress of laundry day. But it’s just been a big waste of time. I wish they wouldn’t take peoples membership fee if there are not any Washrs to pick up orders!

I have had the this app app for about a month now. I paid the $40 yearly fee to join. The first order went great, I scheduled it, placed my this app outside my door and had clean, folded clothes the next day. However, since my first order I have had 3 of my orders not go through. I place the order before I leave for work and hampr gives me a two hour window when the washer will pick them up. Except the time is pushed back all day and then the order is canceled. Not only are my clothes not washed, the end up sitting on my porch all day. Good idea but terrible execution.

Heads up The person who picked up my laundry through hampr stole my credit card and went shopping with it. It’s my fault for leaving a credit card in one of my pockets. Unfortunately hampr would not refund my purchase even though it led to me being defrauded. The least they could’ve done was literally just refund the cost of me paying for someone’s time to steal my identity. I would feel a lot differently if the customer service around this had been better and if they hadn’t deleted my last critical review of them.

this app has been a life saver for me and my family- two working parents and kids in sports. Not only do I have more time to spend with family- I get my weekends back to do whatever I want. I recently placed an order and discovered same day service. AMAZING

Would be higher for the service but have not been able to create new orders in a month. Beyond frustrating. All I can do is see my previous orders. When I click on my account hampr just closes. The Home Screen is essentially blank. No way to request support on the developer app. Was super convenient to use even though not necessarily the most cost effective. Developer probably needs to push an update.

I tried twice to have my laundry done. The first day my order was never accepted. The second day it was accepted, but the person never came to pick it up. Customer service reached out, but didn’t offer any real solutions. They told me they contacted the “washer” and the washer would reach out soon to tell me their ETA. That never happened.

I have chronic pain which that makes doing laundry very difficult. I saved up money specifically to use this service and planned ahead to have my laundry washed when needed. 2 days later it is still dirty and I have no clean sheets for my bed. I have medical testing which will be a long appointment tomorrow and I will need to rest after and now I do not have my laundry done after hours of waiting.

I see lots of positive reviews, but my experience was negative. Customer service did refund me (fortunately) but this is a warning. If you are considering this service and you really NEED it, this may not be your best option. They don’t seem to take it very seriously, so I guess this is more of “nice to have” than something you can rely on.

I wanted to write a comparison review of Sudshare and this app since the former is more popular, but in my opinion, is not nearly as high quality as this app. The interface of this app allows you to customize each load based on temp/soil level/etc and standardizes bag sizes using 13 gal kitchen bags. Makes a lot more sense for the user and I’d imagine makes the experience more standard for washers. There is also no pre authorization of your payment method since the load cost is fixed, so you know exactly what you’ll be paying up front. I definitely recommend hampr over Sudshare! I started a yearly membership and am awaiting my hamper delivery but definitely foresee continued use in the future.

Legit have tried out other laundry services and this one has exceeded my expectations!! You can choose what time to pick up and drop off, they provide their own detergent or you can use your own, and they are super professional and actually care about your clothes!! Super big help since theres no laundry facilities in my apartment complex and the fact my seasonal depression kicking in I for sure wasnt going to do any laundry. Make sure you give them a big tip for dealing with your dirty laundry!!!!

First off, let me start by saying that the cost of hampr is absolutely ridiculous. You’ll be paying upwards of $40 for an annual membership with an additional $10-15 per load, not including shipping. Why on earth would anyone need a ‘membership’ if they are still paying full price for each service? Secondly, Washrs are few and far between; it’s very hard to get someone to pick up and wash your load, yet you are given no price reductions on your membership. Lastly, the QUALITY is not to be believed. One load was brought back wrinkled and smelled horrible. For the amount of money I’ve spent on hampr I am so incredibly disappointed.

Please, SAVE YOUR MONEY and do not download hampr! Go to a local laundromat or invest in a washing and dryer. Genius concept, horrible execution.

Y’all! I live a busy lifestyle, as I’m sure most of you do, too, so with the help of this app, I’m able to spend more time with family instead of time doing laundry. It takes the stress off of my plate, our clothes come back smelling nice, folded and organized! You can even favorite your washer of choice which makes the service consistent and I LOVE THAT! It’s worth the money, and there are often codes which make it even more affordable!

Over this past weekend I sent in three bundles of laundry to wash as I normally do. The Washr was new so I gave her grace for missing the two hour pickup window.

Pretty sure the return was on time though. Only one problem - I got a load of someone else’s laundry and was missing one of mine… Basically 90% of my tshirts, underwear and socks.

The Support Team launched an immediate investigation to track down my items and kept in constant contact with me with updates… Ok I may have pestered them a little. In the end, they located my things and returned them to me as well as returned the other customer’s items to them.

How many other businesses can you say go that kind of extra mile for customers? None that I know of.

Unfortunately, you can only place order via hampr so if hampr isn’t working, you have to wait to schedule - which means you have to remember to check back until it works. (And this is even after uninstalling and reinstalling.)

Also, they have a complicated billing system that’s questionable and hard to trust. I had duplicate charges made to my debit card for an order I didn’t make but they don’t show anything on their end. But after seeing what my account documented on their end, I saw inconsistent charges, incomplete charges, and partial refund charges without details.

If I can’t rely on the tech or billing, I can’t waste my money.

Definitely hold off on ordering the membership with bags until you know you like them, because you can’t get a refund if you’re unhappy with their services. They wouldn’t give me a refund despite the problems with charges they couldn’t account for. BUT after I cancelled, they offered me a $20 credit if I came back… ok.

They do a better job than the local dry cleaner for the clothes that just need to be laundered . I have a lady who is favored and she has been doing my orders since I started and she always does a great job. It’s worth the money for a busy household. I will continue to use them . They even hang the clothes up if you provide the hangers and instructions on what to hang up. Very customer friendly

I used this app when my washer broke and it was a great experience. The people who provided service were always very nice and helpful and I always felt like my clothes were in good hands. They even took instructions for garment care and made sure everything was done well. Great experience overall and highly recommend.

We love this app. We’ve had the same washer every time and she goes above and beyond every time. This saves me time right now as our apartments don’t have laundry available to us. I have a whole day gained now that I don’t have to go to the laundromat. Looking forward to many more months of great service!

I’m overwhelmed with laundry on any given day. When I found out there was an app that could help, I couldn’t believe it. I love this service. The this app app is so easy to navigate. Their “washrs” go above a beyond and leave treats for my kids. I’ll give up my coffee fix before I give up this service.

I just started back to work after maternity leave and was starting to get behind at home. I thought to try hampr and it was amazing. It helps people in a pinch and perhaps those with disabilities, while giving locals the opportunity for a side hustle.

Do not download hampr or even bother checking out its service. First off expensive, but to get to their pricing, you must supply an email. Despite deleting app and unsubscribing from their annoying emails, the emails keep coming. They are operating a sophisticated email marketing tools. They ignore your request to unsubscribe, they can still penetrate Outlook’s Block Sender tool and when you attempt to find owner of the website, they are hidden. Save yourself the headache of being bombarded by this lousy company. F

If it was a good day, my laundry order would be claimed. If it was bad day, no one claimed my orders ever. It is exhausting to wait or depend someone to do my laundry before I know how I could set my weekend schedule with 2 kids. I am rather have a laundry line up planning out than keep waiting and checking my app or text to see if anyone is claiming or accepting my orders or not…. It is disappointing to pay membership and it is reliable when I need.

As a mom of 3 boys, laundry is an every day chore! Finding this app has given me the opportunity to shift my focus to my children and spending time with them, rather than telling them “go play” while I fold clothes. And I must say, they fold better than I do! Lol I LOVE this company, and will forever be grateful!!!

This is a great alternative for a wife who won’t do your laundry. But on a serious note, our family uses it all the time and I would highly recommend this service.

The service is great and reasonably priced compared to others that go by the pound.

hampr needs some polishing.

The feature specifically around the preferences of the loads and saving them. Hanging toggle is not saved, nor is the dryer sheet preference when you select save new or save. Setting this every order for multiple loads is annoying.

When you attempt to edit the load preferences and if you scroll down and attempt to tap any button, it will automatically scroll you to the top. This is frustrating.

It continually appends MODIFIED to the end of the load preferences because there’s a Save New and a Save button that would seemingly do different things. But I can’t tell

When you modify a load preference, it resorts the loads you have ready to go, and then I have to figure out which I’ve already modified and which I haven’t.

I work 2 jobs, hours ranging from 10-24 hrs at a time. I starting using hampr because out of convenience. I have been using them for a while now, over 8 months. I paid for the premium membership and had my clothes picked up pretty much biweekly, always followed their rules and never over stuffed my bags.

I tried to report a Washr (same related washer who claimed majority of my orders) for stealing my clothes and they said they don’t believe me. I have over $300 worth of my belongings missing and they haven’t reimbursed me. It took 3 weeks for a manager to even reach out to me. And once they did reach out, they said I was lying argued that my belongings weren’t stolen at all. Their reimbursement policy states if you claim your missing items within a certain time you’ll be able to get the money back. ITS A LIE. Daniel is rude, dismissive and the reason for this rating.
