My laundry was picked up yesterday and that was to be expected but what was not, was the return of the laundry the same day with at least one missing items. When I reached out to the person who provided the service i was told I never put that item in the hamper, which of course, was untrue. This is the third time I have had an issue with either missing item or having received the items who belonged to another customer. This is my second complaint as i never received a response to my original complaint let me say, i will not b using this service any longer. The app does not allow you to complain about the service and the provider did not take responsibility for their mistake.
good idea but not good execution

I recently moved into an apartment that has no laundry services available. I saw Hampr as an exciting new way to have my laundry done conveniently, as I want to avoid laundromats. I bought the membership and patiently waited for the Hamprs to arrive a week later. I opened the Hamprs up to see that they were an OK size, probably around half of what a normal “hamper” looks like, not nearly enough for an actual full load. Down to the actual reason why this is a 1 star review, they actually charge for each. Individual. Hampr. They send you 4 Hamprs initially with the option to buy more. The charge for each Hampr every time you get service is around 15-20 dollars. That means if you want to do a fill up each Hampr every month, it would be close to 80 dollars at least. If the prices were reduced so that I could at least *afford* it, I would gladly consider using this service. In the meantime, this is far too expensive for anyone without access to a washer/dryer.

My last review was deleted, so I’ll try again. I’m incredibly disappointed to have paid a $40 membership fee to have only 1 of the past 6 orders I’ve placed claimed. The one order that was picked up was retuned late, wrinkled, and incredibly poorly folded. I was offered a credit when I reached out to customer service, but I haven’t even been able to use it because my orders are never claimed. I had really high hopes for this service because it’s a great concept and very much needed! I was so excited to let go of the stress of laundry day. But it’s just been a big waste of time. I wish they wouldn’t take peoples membership fee if there are not any Washrs to pick up orders!
They deleted my last review in addition to stealing my credit card

Heads up The person who picked up my laundry through this app stole my credit card and went shopping with it. It’s my fault for leaving a credit card in one of my pockets. Unfortunately the app would not refund my purchase even though it led to me being defrauded. The least they could’ve done was literally just refund the cost of me paying for someone’s time to steal my identity. I would feel a lot differently if the customer service around this had been better and if they hadn’t deleted my last critical review of them.
