Horrible experience

I used ZipJet in Berlin, Germany, a couple times for getting shirts ironed before business trips. The folded shirts were always wrinkled due to poor packaging and handling. They also destroyed my girl-friend’s dress by piercing it with a thick safety pin. It also smelled like cigarettes when they returned it. But the worst part was how they handle complaints. They will do ANYTHING to avoid a refund. When I sent them photos of the mess they returned instead of ironed shirts, they still demanded payment for washing them! I have a washing machine myself, thank you. For the dress, they scheduled a pick up at 6AM to examine it. I told them in advance to pick it up later, but to no avail. I had come home from a business trip the day before and gone to bed at 3AM, so they completely ruined my day. Please folks, stay away. This could have been a great idea, but they way they implemented it is a complete disaster. I really regret I tried this. It’s really expensive, too.

£1200 worth of clothing ruined

£1200 worth of clothing ruined as this incompetent company machine washed 8 items of dry clean only clothing. I had to threaten legal action in order to be compensated for my loss and after 6 months and countless emails, I received just a fraction of the value of the items destroyed. Many of the items I had only worn once or twice. They also delivered me a bag of someone else’s sheets and towels instead of my own clothes. They arrived early, they arrived late. The customer service team told me on 4 separate occasions I would be compensated and funds were not remitted. Something is going seriously wrong with the leadership in this organisation. Support your local dry cleaner and save yourself a headache.

These guys are terrible

They finally returned my items after holding them hostage for over a week. I’ve had to call them multiple times, each time waiting on hold for what seemed like an eternity. Every person I spoke to was nice, but they kept rescheduling the delivery randomly. It really seemed like they had no idea where my stuff was. In the end an AddisonLee driver delivered them. I’m so happy they delivered my clothes I am never letting them take my items again. It is definitely convenient, but when something goes wrong you are screwed. Just go to the local cleaner and keep them in business. At least you can yell at them in person if they mess up.

Would give 0 stars if possible

My partner had the WORST experience with ZipJet. Upon collection, her garment with expensive pearl buttons was flung into the bottom of a bag and she was told she could not have it picked up in a garment bag. When she received the garment back she noticed the buttons were all broken, with 1 completely missing. Zipjet told her they would come collect the dress to fix it. After collecting it, she was told ZipJet would charge her £5 per button to make the repair. When she reminded them this was damages caused by ZipJet, they told her they would be returning the dress to her. Thanks Zipjet for wasting her time and destroying her dress.

Nice until you get your clothes back

It has a nice system and friendly workers. Yet, once you get your clothes back you realize that the service is a scam. It uses the worst quality of washers and dryers, ruining your clothes. They overcharge and ravage your attire. Unless you’re looking to go a few sizes down or to get a new wardrobe, I would recommend another service.

To potential investors: the concept is not even unique. Don’t be fooled by the branding “Uber for clothes”. I used it hoping it would be better than the alternative but the legacy providers do a worlds better job. Shame on this company!

they lost €200 worth of clothes

if you want half of your clothes gone missing, find other peoples underwear in your washed laudry they return, this service is for you! please save yourselves while u can, had a horrible experience where they just returned my laundry with about €200 of my clothes gone missing, on top of that everything was handled as if no one cares. socks folded with other peoples socks, random clothes and underwear from other people in there. please do not pay this scam. And dont count in their costumer service, i’ve been calling and emailing and got NOTHING back from them. huge scam

Worked Amazing for us in UK

Zipjet was perfection for us. They send numerous text messages telling us when they would arrive at our hotel, were exactly on time for both pickup and drop off, and (I think) all of my laundry was returned washed dried and folded.

Love it

I love everything about zipjet, it is easy and the drivers are super friendly and everything works exactly as it is supposed to! Thank you!!

Unfortunate experience

On paper, Zipjet seems like the ideal service for travelers. Seamless pickup and drop off at your hotel. What could be more convenient...?

WRONG

We used Zipjet in London last week and the service lost 1/2 of our laundry. I don't mean that they just misplaced 2-3 pieces - but of our 8kgs given to Zipjet, less than 1/2 was returned. We are talking almost an entire hotel laundry bag missing

To make matters worse, there doesn't appear to be any recourse for customers. Despite our many pleas to Zipjet, they have acted in a manner that displays zero customer service. And a "shove it" attitude.

Stay away from them, and save yourselves the headache. Just walk to a local Wash n Dry. They are much more realiable

Horrible

Ever since zip jet merged with Laundre app… It’s been a mess… I used to be able to depend on Zipjet and I absolutely loved the service, but I have to say now Zipjetpowered is just more difficult to navigate. I didn’t get my dry cleaning back for a period of three weeks at one point, nobody answered the phones or responded to my emails… It’s going to take some time for me to gain their trust back but for right now I would tell nobody to use Zipjetpowered

HORRIBLE SERVICE

All the clothes came back smelling of mold to the point that they were unwearable so the service was completely useless, all our sheets and pillow cases were missing, the white T-shirt’s were came back brown as if they’d been soaking in dirty water, and when I brought all this up to customer service, their response was basically “not our problem.” Never use this service. It’s a complete ripoff.

Worked perfectly

Used while staying a week in Paris. Worked exactly as hoped. Changes the way I travel.

Misplaced items and no sense of urgency

The driver in London delivered all my linens to the wrong house then proceeded to
accuse my housekeeper of having misplaced them. I felt very unsafe when he came into my entrance. Then when I showed him the cctv footage with him not delivering the linens to my house, he just left without apologising. I have yet to receive my items. I’ve called them 4-5 times today. Poor customer service!!!!

Never again

I don't usually write reviews, but this service deserves it! 3 times I've tried to use it and 3 times I've got disappointed! Rude staff! They don't care about the customers! Twice they've delivered my order almost 1h late and once they've, apparently, lost my shirts, because no one could tell me where they were and when I'd receive it and I got it only 2 weeks later! The worst of all is that I never received not even an apology! I really hope to be the only one who had problems with them, and I never write reviews, but this time I did! This is not how you treat people!

Don't download if you like your clothes

Everything that could go wrong with a service like this went wrong ....they were late ...they shrunk all my clothes and clearly used high heat dryer when they said they would check the tags and dry accordingly! Horrible horrible service

Do not use

I can not recommend Zipjetpowered. The company has a very poor customer service approach. They lost four of my items. Contacting them to remedy this was chaotic and poorly managed. I am reverting to using my local, high quality laundry store.

By

Worst

You are better off going to your local cleaning company, shirts come back wrinkled and “supposed” not being able to clean correctly and on my last order the sweaters came back smelling like someone smoked a pack cigarettes.

By

Do not use!

This is an awful service. They will send your clothes to the cheapest cleaners and then take zero accountability for the damage they make to your clothes. I’ve been dealing with the for almost a month to recover losses from them.

By

Worst service they lost all my shirts

This is the worst service I have used. They lost all my shirts and have not reimbursed me for the loss yet. Obviously will never use it again.

By

Wash and fold

My clothes were returned so wrinkled, I had dampen in the sink and hang to dry. Was unable to iron out the creases on pants and shirts. The clothes were either left in the dryer after finishing or tossed in a basket balled up for hours.
