ProxyVote: Your Voice Matters Reviews

I was having the problem other people report with tapping the "vote now" button in an email I received, being taken to ProxyVote , and ProxyVote showing no unvoted shares; I also found that merely switching away from ProxyVote to go back to my email and copy the control number in order to paste it into the corresponding field in ProxyVote logged me out of ProxyVote .

After sending an email about this I received a response recommending that I delete and reinstall ProxyVote ; now that I've done that, I cannot log in no matter what I do – whether I attempt to use Apple's passwords mechanism (which doesn't work) or jeopardize the security of my account by copying my password from the Passwords app into Notes where I can see it and then manually typing the password into the this app app, the "sign in" button remains grayed out. Apparently there is no more using ProxyVote for me. What a shame that ProxyVote has been ruined by lazy or incompetent coders and a complete lack of pre-release quality testing.

ProxyVote is really nice and almost makes voting on proxies effortless. Long gone are the days of copying and pasting a control number!

The only thing it is lacking is the ability to sort out between meetings that have or have not been voted on. If you have a lot of different companies in your list it is very frustrating to have scroll through the list and look for ones that are missing circles with green check marks. It would be really nice if there were instead two separate lists: one for meetings not voted and the other for meetings already voted. If ProxyVote had this feature, then it would be effortless and worthy of a five star rating.

I was excited about ProxyVote because it streamlines the frustrating process of control numbers and vote-by-mail. However, while attempting to create a new account I was unable to let the iOS password manager generate a strong password that could then be linked to Apple’s security suite (FaceID, etc.). Without fortified digital security measures I won’t even consider opening a financial data application.

Update from last review: Developer has not disclosed what data they collect as part of privacy transparency. I will absolutely not use ProxyVote.

ProxyVote makes voting proxies effortless. It would be nice, however, if you had an option to only show un-voted proxies. I have many stocks and scrolling through them to find stocks that have not been voted on is tedious and may cause some to be missed. Being able to list only un-voted proxies would make the process of voting more reliable.

ProxyVote makes the process of voting and signing up for e-delivery much easier and more integrated with my other financial activities - increasingly all done via mobile. I will definitely be more likely to make time to vote when the information is accessible via my phone. Scanning the info made it super easy.

I have multiple accounts and each has proxy’s to vote and one that I have voted. Without filtering it’s a hassle to find the ones I need to vote that I have not. They are all listed together, I’m ready to switch back to the web or paper if broadbridge is going ignore users.

I emailed the contact us to create a log in. I received the login credentials and from there, have been able to use ProxyVote efficiently. I’m able to input the control number provided to me and login to review the meeting details and what the company is proposing. I voted:)

I have been able to vote in all my proxies from this one app which is very helpful. The only down side I see currently is ProxyVote does not support landscape views. The would be help since I typically utilize my iPads spilt screen feature when voting.

Another review from 1 year ago matches mine. I also have a diverse portfolio. Not quite hundreds of stock but enough that I can scroll past some not voted entries by accident so I am forced to spend time meticulously checking each entry when scrolling as I get a new "vote now" notice.

It's simple to use BUT could really benefit from having some simple filters on the voting list.

Being able to see "not voted" and/or filtering out past the voting deadline would be great.

ProxyVote randomly accepts and rejects the password for my account. If I attempt to reset the password, it says that ProxyVote has suffered an error and to try again. Then when you finally get it to accept your password, it times out, notifies you that your multiple attempts have caused a security issue and blocks you for 24 hours. Exactly what value does ProxyVote provide that the email link does not with no hassle?

Like others if it had a filter or a sort to only show ones that have not been voted on or by meeting date etc. that would make it a 5 star in my book. Thank you for making it easier to vote!

ProxyVote makes it so easy to vote! I was able to vote for all of my proxies in no time. I couldn’t ask for a more simple way! It also provided a straightforward method to sign up for e-delivery for my future documents.

Sent in a couple requests for assistance resetting password as I receive the message 'We are sorry but there was an error processing your account. Please try again later' but no response from support for either email over the course of a month. Account is probably locked, but no way to unlock without support from the company (I attempted to re-register and system responded email already exists....no kidding....).

I love the intuitive layout of ProxyVote . It’s extremely easy to use and I found it really helpful. I was able to view all reference documents and could even vote on multiple meetings.

ProxyVote does not work with Apple’s Password function. It would be so much easier to use ProxyVote if this they were compatible. Once in, ProxyVote works just fine.

This is the easiest way to vote. It is clearly simple to go back and vote for multiple meetings. I also like the French language option as I speak both English and French.

Extremely satisfied with ProxyVote. Provided me with an easy signup for e-delivery and makes it easy to vote. I think I’m more likely to vote when I can easily access this process via my mobile phone.

I love the convenience of ProxyVote. I will definitely be more likely to vote now that I have a simple way to do so from my phone.

Using my camera I was able to access all my voting material and vote within few seconds. Very neat.

In spite of several reviews about this problem from over a yea ago, the password entry screen in ProxyVote is still broken. It will only accept passwords manually typed in from the keyboard. Pasting in a password from a password manager app does not register; the password criteria check works, but the ‘Continue’ button is grayed out, preventing me from actually submitting the password.

Get it together, developers. Using a password safe is basically a requirement these days to ensure unique and strong passwords that meet each app’s password criteria. It shouldn’t be this hard to fix, especially since you’ve already implemented the needed callback to check the password criteria! When the password criteria is satisfied, it shouldn’t be rocket science to enable the submit button…

This is a convenient app that serves its purpose fairly well especially since there’s not an alternative that I’m aware of. However, ProxyVote is very glitchy and seems to become frozen or stuck in some transition every other time I use it forcing me to force quit ProxyVote and start over.

Recent issue: missing annual/proxy report
Current issue: (Apple 14Pro) keyboard data entry not available, login not recognized even after password reset, and (oh yeah) the link for support from ProxyVote Store is broken.

I can’t understand how an app like this made it the this app senior mgt or Apple’s App Store review process. Reading reviews ‘m not the only person frustrated by having to manually enter my login and password each time I try to use ProxyVote to vote.
I’m deleting ProxyVote from my phone as it is easier to use my laptop and have my email request to vote take me to the website. Google Chrome seems to have figured this out.
