Terrible app, doesn’t function properly

2022-05-21

The only reason I’m using this stupid app, because my school set application for emergency pandemic funding here. I absolutely loathe this app, it is deeply flawed and doesn’t function properly. It doesn’t allow me to log in, and it mostly show blank screen. I tried to reinstall it multiple times - still doesn’t work. I use the latest iOS but Edquity clearly is not optimized for it.

Why allow applications if fund is closed

2022-06-22

I got an email from my school stating I could apply for emergency funding. Went through their online application and was told I would be notified within 24hrs of a decision. Log into my account the next day and check the status of the application only to see that the application has been closed due to all available funds being distributed, which is great for those who received it. However, you should not let students apply under the impression that the emergency fund is still open only to later find out they applied for nothing because there is no money left to be given. I didn’t even receive an email or any sort of communication stating it had been closed, had to download Edquity to find out.

The app is slow

2022-07-23

After I filled out my application Edquity slowed down. Once I received an email that my funds were available, when I tried to transfer the funds the prompt said, “Something went wrong. Try again later.” It’s been a few hours since I tried to transfer the funds to my bank. The chat feature has not been very helpful either. There is also a glitch or something like this. When I clicked on the “we use intercom” button, any thing I click will send me to the “Hi, we are intercom!” page.

I also tried the different option to have my funds to be sent through a prepaid card. Nothing happens when I click on the Step 1 link.

No back button

2022-08-24

I can’t even properly navigate Edquity because when I click on a page it won’t let me return to the previous one. Completely useless. And when I try to chat with the online help, you have to download a voice recording app to respond and it won’t let you type a response. Then when I say no, I don’t want to download another app, I can’t even return to the previous page to chat. 🙄

Most Frustrating App I’ve ever used

2022-09-25

I downloaded this for the emergency funds relief fund and there was no option for the application on Edquity . I tried getting help from the automated app and it directed me to download another app I’m supposed to pay for to get access to change one minor detail about my account. Rather than making this information easy to access that millions of alumni are probably trying to access, Edquity provided no such thing. Don’t even bother.

Great concept, lack of communication

2022-10-26

After receiving an email from my school about being able to apply for the aid, I did so. I recently checked in on Edquity to see if there was any update and it said that the deadline to claim funds had passed. I didn’t even know I was approved, so it was a huge bummer to see I missed out. I recommend sending an email to confirm to the applicants if they were approved.

Web design and app are bad

2022-11-27

I received an email from my college about an opportunity to earn Emergency Aid. After creating an account through Edquity it continued to crash and kicked me out of Edquity every time I tried to click on my profile. I switched over to their website and when logging in it kept saying “invalid credentials”. Even after resetting the password and using a different email. I was hoping to receive some form of aid but Edquity and web design make it difficult.

Great idea, but slow execution on funds

2022-12-28

Filled out my application and within 12 hours had approved funding. It stated that I had to claim the funds within 48 hours so I did immediately. It said it could take up to two business days to receive the funds and Im on business day 3 and was told by customer service it could take 5-7 days for deposit. It is a great idea but for how fast the application turn around was, its quite slow on the deposit in my situation.

Got money the same day, App could use work

2023-01-29

I logged in multiple times for my application. I tried on my phone with wifi and with data and was unsuccessful in completing it. Tried again on my computer and everything went through. I was approved within 48 hours. Once I had to link my bank account I had trouble on Edquity as well. Kept trying and completed the acceptance part. Then the funds were in my account by EOD. Got emergency funding I really needed and had no idea existed beyond financial aid. Really grateful for wherever this money is coming from. It’s not everyday this happens. Happy to say I can stay enrolled in school. Wish I could send a personal thank you letter.

Thank you Edquity!

Thank you for everything you did for my family and I during the pandemic. Being a student was financially difficult but you helped a lot!

Easy to use

2023-03-31

Edquity was very easy to use and alerted me to when my funds were available. I can navigate through it easily and it also has a budgeting resource! I love Edquity!

Great use of the app!

2023-05-02

Edquity itself is super simple to use. A deadline is indicated from the beginning so make sure to read up or ask your school about it. Don’t understand the bad reviews, just be mindful of the requirements.

Great App

2023-06-02

Not sure why so many people are giving Edquity bad reviews bc I had NO issues. Also, Edquity can’t control whether available funds have been exhausted or whether or not you qualify-stop blaming them for circumstances beyond their control. I answered the questions and was given a date for when I would be notified as to whether I would receive funds or not. I was notified on the date they said I would be. Linking my bank account was a smooth, easy process and the funds were in my account within 3-5 business days. Also, the find free food section of Edquity has been extremely helpful. Don’t listen to those that are upset bc they couldn’t get the money.

Thank you!

2023-07-04

I’m honestly not sure why there are so many negative reviews. Most I saw were because they weren’t approved. This process was seamless and easy to do. Applied on the 14th got approved by the 19th and just transferred my funds. This helps a lot. Thank you so much!!

Thank You

Edquity made the process to receive extra help for college an easy one! I had no problems. The questions were a simple format and all the timing information was exact! Easy to use, and a great service! Thank you!

Valuable Resources

2023-09-05

It’s not just a “come once get a healing from a televangelist.” Edquity is legit. It provides access to articles, locations I’ve never heard of in my own city, that offer even MORE VALUABLE RESOURCES, such as food pantries, career/trade development, emergency assistance. Ive opened Edquity more than once since I received the initial assistance. TL;DR - Thanks Guys, Edquity helped me a key point in my life.

They helped me so much

2023-10-07

Without this money that I received I wouldn’t be able to get my disabled daughter to and from the doctors appointments and also putting food on the table and catching up on one bill that need to be caught up on and they helped out a lot and the money came quick and I appreciate them a lot

Apply on the website then download app

2023-11-07

I received an email from my school about emergency funds and was unsure about it, so I did some research and it’s legit.
I applied and went through the website and had no issues and was granted emergency funds in 24 hours. Then I downloaded Edquity to use the resources and track my funds.

Fast response when it matters most.

2023-12-09

I was truly shocked by how easy the application process was for emergency student funds. this app did not ask for any proof or documentation of my extenuating circumstances, nor later proof of what I spent the money on. I was approved instantly and received my funds in about a week. The simplicity alone was such a relief during a truly stressful time. It made me feel like my school actually wanted to help, not to interrogate or judge.

WOW !!!!

2024-01-09

I’m so shook!! Honestly I didn’t think it was true. I thought it was a scam or a lie about the funds but you guys!!!! I got the grant!! Got approved on the 3-7 and I just got all my funds in my bank mobile account. I’m so grateful and so blessed this is going to help me HUGE ! I encourage everyone to do it !!!!

A bunch of bullshit run around from these fake ass people. How is it you have no contact number but only the same three people to “help” you. It’s been months now and no money it’s the same crap the three people have been spouting a fucking scam

An Absolute scam applied for “emergency” funding via my school was approved and nothing has came it’s been a month now. Definitely reporting to my school and business bureau for stealing money

Worst app ever. False hope is worse than having no hope. Terrible, horrible, stressful, frustrating thing I ever had to deal with. Still have no money. It's been a month. I am trying to get a hold of the founder to let him know what these people are doing with his dream. Besides sucking the life out of people.

This is the most stressful thing that I have dealt with since I started school. Anybody waiting on money DON'T!!!!! These people have given me the biggest B.S. runaround I have ever had the displeasure to work with. It will be going non a month. Yup, a month and still I have nothing. Accept a bunch of B.S. lies from these people. I am getting evicted because of them. If they would'nt of continue to tell me the money is coming, the money is coming. I would of got a loan to pay my rent instead of listening to these people. The worst experience I have ever came across. Just plain B.S.
