The this app app requires you to enter your phone number to use Betterhalf . That itself is okay. But the this app team then gains access to your personal number and keeps calling you multiple times a days, harassing you to take a paid subscription to their services. This is crossing all limits because they do this without any consent. This is horrendous misuse of personal info, abuse of privacy and continuous torture and harassment. Its a crime.
Note- I am a verified and legitimate user of Betterhalf . I had posted a similar review before as well. But it seems like either Apple or this app is taking down/deleting critical/negative reviews. By doing this Apple is supporting the aforementioned crime.

This is probably the worst matrimonial app put there. Not only is Betterhalf buggy, but the design is questionable, and seems like the developers of Betterhalf only want to exploit users. Basic functionality such as interacting with incoming requests is hidden behind a paywall. Very frustrating experience overall, and I'd stay away from this - much better alternatives out there.

Human Matchmaker service is nonsense. Team doesn’t do their job. Short on staff! Avoid any subscriptions.

App logged me out automatically and now I'm not receiving an OTP on my phone number anymore.

Not sure about India, but for NRIs everything is paid. There is no sense of privacy at all, I get random whatsapp messages asking me to upgrade to premium for 16K inr

Location preference doesn’t work at all. I’m getting people from all over the world and none from even the same country.

I have a US number and the forced mobile number edition is not working. No sms received. App is useless for me and I paid money my for it.

Maximum profiles are inactive and you get limited profile views every time. Improve either one of those and your application may become better than other apps.

Deactivated the profile and tried logging in again after few days. When i request for OTP, i never get it. I even paid for their subscription and now I’m unable to access my account. It’s a scam app.

There are close to no profiles even when I am on paid plan. And terrible recommendations that just don’t work for me. It’s a waste of money to have bought their paid plan. Don’t make this mistake folks.

I paid up for their premium subscription, and now they want me to pay to chat with the matches. Most free apps let you chat with matches! What a joke!
And their customer care doesn’t take a note of that issue and don’t seem interested in remedying the issue.

It’s like the location preferences don’t matter. I spend all of 6 minutes to put all US cities I could think of in Betterhalf . I still get shown the girls in India. What do I do with that? There is no horoscope match based suggestion either. This is not a matrimony app. This a dating app with a touch of marriage. And not even a good one at that. Wasted $30 on it for the annual plan. Why is Betterhalf even doing business in US?

App is really good to use. But I am not getting matches from my state. Mostly North Indian profiles are getting. If it will be from my state means it will more helpful...

Giving out locations in Betterhalf seems to be of no use! None of the profiles are matched from nearby locations! Shouldn’t have bought the paid plan!

Genuine real profiles and their rec engine is pretty good
Highly recommended if you are looking for marriage and not dating

Had the good experience with Betterhalf, kindly improve on getting notifications on proper time
