This application has a lot of fake profiles where they will say that they were born and raised in US but once we talk they have a huge accent. There are also profiles where they state they work for UN so they can't talk on the phone but then eventually start asking for money. There are also some profiles where they will use the same pictures but for different profiles and with different names. All of these profiles have very impressive pictures but are completely fake.

Despite of hiding my phone #, somehow some people were still able to see it and start calling at 5am or 4am but once after looking at the picture it's someone I have never seen before. Also, some of these people here will start texting with some weird pictures even though I have never talked to them before. The more I try to stop them the more they insist on continuing the conversation and will be very pushy.

I do not recommend this application to anyone. It has been a nightmare dealing with these fraudulent profiles.

Let me start by saying! Shaadi has lot of fake profiles and not only that profile which is real but people will start asking money within few days to weeks.
The customer service is horrible. They only care about who will pay for the membership especially the higher ones. Otherwise, there are profiles which has been created many times and they don’t care about it. They let them use it. Genuine people who have verified their profile get booted out without any reason. They have one excuse all the time “ You Have Violated Our Terms “. They don’t b**ls to what was the reason.
Shaadi customer service are bunch of people who doesn’t have any idea about their job. Their phone number is every time no reachable. GUYS GROW UP. I’m going to stop this right here. I can keep typing pages. I have reported many profiles. The answer I received always was “ use the report/block feature “ I mean, seriously!

They are using people id to hack their bank account. I created my profile suddenly I received allot of interest. I paid for membership to try. After upgrading to gold membership and talking with several families. I found, most of the profiles are faked and created by shaadi employees, shaadi employees are talking with me.
After 3 days of upgrade they asked me to upload my photo id. When I uploaded, just few days later someone tried to hike in to my bank account using the debit card that I paid from and the id I provided. They tried to use my personal info to get credit card as well.
I called their customer service . Lady on the phone was very rude and angry.
I asked for return my money. They said your recieved more then 10 interest and you accepted more then one. We cannot return your money. Few days later they deactivated my account for no reason.
I will recommend everyone stay away from these scammers.

I don’t know why suddenly my account stopped working and asking to upload my license or passport copy. I find that to be deliberate attempt by Shaadi to gather private documents/data to sell to 3rd parties. If I knew this then I wouldn’t be spending my money on this fishy app. Worst, there are tons of profiles which are fake or click-bate. Trusting them with your documents is the last thing anyone want. Shaadi using Apple IOS platform to gather crucial information and users must escalate this matter with Apple since foreigner company like Shaadi can get away. The integrity of Shaadicom is subjective since they have no valid office in US, but collecting personal documents here. Shaadicom developer responses are vague & doesn’t address the core issues of app credibility and data privacy. If you don’t care about your data to be auctioned to 3rd parties then go right ahead.

I created a profile for my brother. And started sending interest to profiler I thoughts suitable. Becuase you can’t do anything from free profile, I bought the three month gold plus subscription. This is what happens then.

They send an email that my profile is under review give a govt issued ID. I supplied my CA driving license. Then they said send a selfie for verification purposes. In next 3 hours they deleted the account without saying anything what was violated. And the worst part is the membership I purchased I was charged.

So basically, I paid 121 dollars and got nothing. If this is not cheating then what is. I also know that profiles who have got married and settled now their profiles still exist in the website. Not only that they are shown online even when they are not. This website is very shady and should be shut down.

I was a previous paying member, and when I revisited they asked for more information. I understand the need to screen to make sure of authenticity, however to keep asking more and more without any communication is crazy. First they asked for my college information which I gave then they asked for my drivers license. Afterwards they asked for a cover letter from my company which is very weird and not something you ask HR in America. I’ve worked there for 9+ years I’m not going to do that. If they could just call I be more than happy to verify the but not send stuff through their app. All the emails I sent just sent the same standard response and the frustration came with how many pieces of personal information do you need before I can activate my account. Looks pretty fishy and I think they just want our personal information.

When I signed up for as a trial I was getting soo many messages and notifications from girls. Every time I wanted to reply those messages Shaadicom didn’t let me and asking me to upgrade it which means pay them a membership for a yeah then u b able to reply. So I paid for the most expensive one $100 something. And when I logged in again as a member to reply those messages which I got 100s of them before I purchased the membership non of them were real messages from actual person. The shadi just do this purposely to attract to make money. I would never recommend Shaadicom to anyone. It’s or worth it at all to pay them money. All other apps r free and works better then this crapy app. I would like to get my money back is somone can help me with this pls.

Wasting time Do Not Waste Time and/or Money .
When you are Not Premier Member You’ll get lot of Profile Request to see my profile and I’m Interested but after that Once you Paid Member Never Get Profile Request Like Before. It’s like a Spam. After few months I Never Use and now I’m trying to Open msg come up that you Profile is Discontinue and contact us for more detail. And there is no Contact on app, without inform me, Never email me to inform and discontinue, what a Stupid think I Never have been see before. In that Profile my Full 4 picture inside the Profile so is that safe for me, for my picture is not even protected, and anyone can copy and miss-use my photo. This is really Garbage and it’s just a business Making Money App and Nothing Else. 👎👎👎

This is a horrible website when it comes to curbing spam. They do not have filters for stopping people from contacting you when they do not have a photo in their profile and nor for requiring password for the photos if they are password protected.

2/3rd of the women wanted my phone number to send me photos? It’s just stupid. I have not problem sharing my information with someone I’m interested in but why would I give out my contact information if I don’t even know if I’m interested in a person?

More and more Nigerian spammer are joining their website on daily basis and many of these profiles are just collecting information from the request they get. i.e you’re phone number and email address to spam you with crap.

Matches are accepting requests and than they gonE Really less and same to same options you guys are showing every day 😌 So many fake accounts and asked for money

Really transient, undergoing lots of cosmetic changes but ending up into loosing profile information fields after every version upgrade. It used to have a nice comparison table for the desired partner preference on the public profile and you would know what all you do not match for the given prospect but now it just shows the matching fields. Lost the ability to see a profile zodiac in the free version... simply looses the effectiveness for a person to decide whether it is worth to buy the membership or not.
I am not paying, being blind to whether it’s worth it or not! Not sure who hired their UX designers and their product owners!

Shaadi doesn’t provide a level playing field for men. There are far more educated men than women in US/Canada, and profiles of women without profiles abound.

Who in their right mind would get in touch with someone who isn’t even willing to share their photo? I doubt even people in Saudi Arabia get married without knowing what the other person looks like.

Shaadi and BharatMatrimony are also very much responsible for the perpetuation of the caste system, which is basically racism. Shame on both of them for promoting racism and gold-digging behavior.

Shaadi should be renamed as the most SHADIEST MATRIMONIAL Site ever. Very average, first does a terrible job of not matching nearby States in US and then the customer service will keep on calling and asking to join the Elite service and match with the same matches that do not match or have no interested in ever.
Over the last 4 weeks, every time I match with 3-5 profiles, interest sent, get a text from the contact and then the profile on the opposite site gets deleted, who are these individuals, maybe fake Nigerian who Shaadi has collaborated with. Stay 100 miles away!

I downloaded Shaadicom to try to find my match. However, within seconds of creating a profile, it was deactivated. I reached out to their Customer Support, and received this response: In your case, we feel we will not be able to meet both minimum no of matches and quality of matches that we intend to provide as part of our internal guidelines. We don’t want a situation where you are not happy with us later due to lack of profiles that match your requirements.

Hence, we are unable to register your profile. Please be assured your registration is not rejected for any other reason.

That’s interesting, because I created another profile using a “more acceptable name”, just to see if my assumption was correct, and the second profile was approved. This is completely unacceptable. Nowhere in their T&C’s does it mention that you must be of South Asian descent, or born/living in a South Asian country.

This is complete discrimination.

Worst app I have ever used in my entire life, so a few examples, so I have used other dating apps or marriage apps like minder, muzmatch, Dil mil or even tinder, if both the guy and girls likes each other’s profile they can talk with paying anything, well on Shaadi app u can’t even if both sides like each other, u need to be a premium member. The premium is 37$ a month , Buh the funny part now u can’t buy a month of premium u can only buy from 3 months and on so the lowest premium package for 3 months is 110$ which is ridiculous, Shaadicom is only made to rip off people... wasted my time no worth it

It sends lots of push notifications, then if i click on it then always says ‘sorry something went wrong’. But their advertising is on the spot, right after you logged in(it seems i am logging in to see that advertisement after all).After i have manages to not get notifications, still it gives me hard time when I open Shaadicom . Really frustrating. Even worse part is when I logged in web version, it says your account was deleted. Still my mobile app is active. God knows what’s wrong with this. Thank god my payment was unsuccessful when I wanted to purchase the premium.

I was very skeptical at first. I posted many bad reviews in the beginning. I thought all profiles were fake. I’m a 36 years old US citizen. Good looking and I’m an avid gym goer. I paid $88 for Shaadicom taking a chance and if nothing happens it’ll be fun.

I met a girl within the 2 weeks. I thought she was fake because She seemed too good to be true. 1 month later we are planning our wedding. She’s a dream come true!

App is one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. It’s filled with bugs, doesn’t work half of the time and it’s extremely frustrating to use. Often time it feels like I’m using somethings still in beta. If only there was a better alternate, since using the mobile webpage is even more painful than using Shaadicom . With all the money that they charge for their services it’s truly disappointing how bad their platform is. And the way it is, with all the glitches, I don’t think it’s getting fixed anytime soon.

An app should be responsive. Just cams logging in there and they seek feedback - with an unresponsive feedback screen which, by default, rates them 7! You cannot move this slider, so if you choose to write something in the comments box and ‘submit’ feedback, they get a 7 by default!!
Also, every time I open Shaadicom ( and I am a paid member!) I get a pop up!!!!! These guys have no idea what a mobile app is or how it should function. Stay away and ask someone out at your local coffee shop, than depending on services like this, that benefit from keeping you away from married!!

Crashes on startup but receiving notifications

In simple words, Shaadicom is not worth it. I have become a member and paid a premium amount $$$ to source profiles for me by the Shaadi specialist. It was not a successful one. I have tried to source on my own - alot of fake, unresponsive or indecent profiles. Very few that are genuine. It feels, this site is not for someone looks for standard and decency. Blocking email and contact number is for Shaadi to get members so that they can run business. But they must find better alternatives to allow people least to exchange conversation without exchanging email or number.
