Summary of Fi Problems 🔥

- Metal (plastic that looks like metal) GPS transmitter on the collar is being dinged up by Maui’s metal ID and rabies vaccination tags

- Every time my dog is in the car the device reports the drive as a walk

- Customer service is a joke

- GPS tracking has lagged a bit

- New version came out and coincidentally one of my dogs activity tracking stopped working

Fi app keeps notifying me that it's stopping. Tried restarting my phone and cleared app cache and forced stop. Nothing seems to work.

How to fix Fi app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Fi app on iPhone
Update Fi app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Fi iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Fi on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Fi network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Fi Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix Fi not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the Fi App
1. On android, goto Settings » Fi » click [Force Stop]

Update Fi to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Fi App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Fi » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Fi.

Fix Fi unable to contact server/ Fi internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Fi » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Fi » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Fi
