Need better decisions making for long term growth

Good design but I think with the increase in revenue I am wondering how and why this multimillion billion bank not using international stander and still cradling to the antiquated technology things that need to change :
1. Visa debit (not everyone need to be chained to a credit card with annual fees)
2.reliable customer service (why saying youboffere 24/7 banking and you will not get a customer service rep pass 7 pm and if you do their department cannot assist you I think this app need to outsource these areas with different time zone and person who have the skilled and knowledgeable about the services being offered to reduce long wait in line an on phone to do simple banking )
3. Making online and app usage more used friendly eliminates token this was a wast of investment. I didn’t take it with me to the states and was told by a customer service that I order to go online I need to fly back to Jamaica to get it and hand it in .

App optimization

It’s clear that ever since You guys updated your “system” your app was not fully optimized, for Ive been waiting for 5 months for my credit card details to be added to my portal and I’ve literally been waiting in vein. Called customer care I get a million different excuses that doesn’t lead to a solution. You may ask why not use the website instead well......because it doesn’t work either!!!! I wouldn’t care if it was a visa Debit, but how can you give someone a credit card and no proper way to see activity. For all I know 30 other people could be using my card. You need to do better. And I’ll continue to give a 1 star until this can be resolved.

NCB can do way better !

this app can do way better !, You can make it possible for people to request a card replacement from the mobile app and pick it up in the bank, like this app knows their ATMs are garbage and in addition in dealing with the frustration of your card being taken away, you also have to deal with these disrespectful employees of the bank, in particularly the Spanish town garbage branch, the bank casually tells you that you can’t get a number at 12 o clock because the service is closed off for the day like, I am sick and tired and just so y’all know I withdrew majority of my money and put it in SCOTIA Bank.

Need more features

Up to now we can’t get the card freezing feature and mobile Cheque deposit on NCB and card details take too long to update look at the time we are in the mobile Cheque deposit feature would be one of the best one right now and for some reason persons card still are not safe and you guys saying your stepping up security that’s a good security feature especially for the cards holder to have for themselves. Come on know it’s not a snap of a finger but this company is taking too long to put in these simple step to help it’s customer got to do better.

When it works it works but god help you when it fails.

It seems the Bank is more focused on getting new features out rather than testing for bugs. The error messages that are displayed are not very helpful. One would think that they would just replicate the messages that are displayed on the web version but no that may be a different coding team. Transactions also fail too often on the apt.

And when there is an error with NCB , don’t even call customer care,they can’t help.

I almost get in there

I’ve been using NCB ever since it launched waited two years when it finally came out it delivered on the minimum viable product. However, I think there are more improvements to be made especially with overseas access. While NCB itself is on a good track, I find out the customer service services part on NCB doesn’t work as well as I expected it to there is no login of records. To ensure that your conversations are safe I would suggest doing screenshot or video recording using it I’ve had a very unfortunate encounter with this app. On more than one occasion luckily I had proof and I was able to retrieve my money after waiting several months to be exact over four months for a refund and a purchase made.

The app overall

Good afternoon NCB makes life easier but the glitches are annoying an sometimes new person with online banking not sure how to get things done like myself I want to start paying my jps bill online and I can’t get to do it all now because I am not sure and there’s no manual to it anyways continue to work on NCB it’s good so far

While NCB suffers from periodic glitches, it is by far one of the most interactive banking apps on the local market my thing is why doesn’t local banks allow you to lock your debit cards to prevent fraudulent transactions while allowing fees and standing orders to be charged I believe such a move would inspire confidence in the bank itself. If security is truly something this app wants to offer their customers this is a big step in that direction

Big up the developers in the background

If you have had NCB from its launch (v. 1.1) and compare it to what it is today, you have to send big up to the development team for what they have done to grow NCB.

Love it and look forward to lots more added features. Soon, using the website will be obsolete! Mek NCB can give wi cash and wi won’t need ATMs either! 😂

Finally!! After years of waiting, this app works!!

If COVID-19 caused this app to make a major push to improve their banking app, thank you COVID-19!!
Bill payment, account transfers, purchasing US$ are now so effortless. NCB is backed up by text messages and emails whenever there is activity so monitoring is a breeze.
Love ❤️ that I can pay my bills and charge my credit card and facial recognition on the iPhone 🙏🏾

I wish you guys would send us a notification to confirm that we are the one using our card because I used my card at little Caesar on April 12th and then on Sunday 14th I saw my money disappearing from my account and by the time I got through with one of your rep it was too late I couldn’t even do anything sigh plz fix this it’s not fair.

Amazing

While they are opportunities with the reliability of you guys banking service NCB is amazing. It has a simplistic design and the color schemes are easy on the eyes also the Touch ID feature is cool.

I was wondering if you guys could remove closed accounts from the banking app it’s removed from the retail link but it still shows on the mobile app which is a bit annoying

I have to say Wow! This is the most user friendly banking app I have encountered. Even my Great-Grand mother would be able to navigate through. I’ve always loved the online platform and I’m glad you guys came with such creativity and enthusiasm to create such a wonderful and colorful 🙂app, the interface is just superb. Well done! Been banking with you guys for several years and I can say, this is so far the most reliable, trustworthy, consistent and creative banking institution. this app for life ✌🏽😎

Continue to implement and put strong measures to prevent the customer's accounts from scammers. I know of the work you're putting in because I follow the Instagram page and I am satisfied so far. Take the necessary steps to reach out to those customers affected and see how best they can be compensated and get back to normality.

Next added features to a updated version.

I am enthuse about my this app app and the simplicity of this plate form, however I am big on security and I was hoping you guys could add a Touch ID feature that would add to the more features existed.

With that I do get Cheques from time to time and I eventually have used the drop box at one of the branch locations, set up a feature on NCB platform that will support the cheque Dropbox rather than going into the bank to do this a simple photo of the cheque could suffice.

Very convenient

This mobile app is super convenient. I’m not particularly fond of joining long lines for anything, so you can tell that I’d love it. this app needs now to work on ways to improve NCB by adding new features and by fixing some little glitches they have from time to time. But overall, very good.

I’m actually happy with NCB . There’s a few things to improve but overall it cover the basic everyday needs. Love that all my accounts loans etc are in one app & that I can make my credit card payment from NCB as well.

One of the best banking apps

NCB is fast and allows me to do multiple types of transactions from my phone from transfers to bill payments and more. It also comes with great features like Touch ID, and free transfers via NCB

I now do all my transfers through NCB because of this!

Greatest banking app to come out of Jamaica! Interface is extremely friendly. Although must say it’s still not on par with some of the first world banks! Could use more features like being able to take photos of cheques and have them directly deposited into the account using NCB .

I have noticed though that the error messages aren’t very useful.

If there are limits when transferring between accounts, that should be specified somewhere in NCB .

At the very least, if the error messages were useful (Eg you have exceeded your transfer allowance for today, or $85/$100 used or something specific) it would go a long way.

Transfers between accounts seem to be finicky. Both between my accounts and to others. It fails unexplainably.

Better error messages would help, but transfers need to be made more robust.

Otherwise, great job dev team.
