Eufy consistently outperformed my Arlo pro2
Let’s get the bad out of the way first. Eufy can store video locally and without a subscription it does not upload to cloud, which makes it less secure. Here are the numerous good: 1. Fast. When I tried to invoke live view from my Arlo, it takes almost half a minute sometimes even longer. Eufy gets me to live view in a few seconds, usually three or less. 2. Local storage. The disadvantage has already been mentioned, but the advantage is that playback is also very fast (when using the app). I actually use one of the Arlo camera to watch the porch as well so not concerned of thief stealing my doorbell. 3. Human detection and motion zone setting. In my neighborhood I get about 20 cars drive by each day. With Eufy I can set to human detection and ignore all the cars. In Arlo similar function requires extra subscription which adds up in the long run. Too bad it does identify my hub cap and my railing as human face occasionally , and on Reddit someone say a firmware update is due in near future to improve the accuracy.

Very Impressed
I am a first time user for any security camera and I'm very pleased with the results. I have the Eufy Cam E 2-set with HomeBase and it is working great! The app runs smoothly and very handy features! The set-up process was SUPER EASY and I'm thankful the app is very user friendly, with details and videos. All around a very well thought out app. (My only complaint is that I wish that the motion notification has it own different ringtone/chime that differentiates itself from all the other standard iPhone sounds.) Also, it logs my other family of members out of their accounts which is inconvenient.

I am impressed
After doing much research I decided on the Eufy 2c system. I wanted something that worked, was easy to install and was not expensive. The Eufy 2C system was all that, and more. This system is easy to order and setup. The app is intuitive and robust. The video quality is good. There isn’t anything I can complain about. I like base station. The base station communicates to each camera without taxing my WiFi network. This is accomplished because the base station is the only device on my WiFi, not each camera. This makes for a lean and responsive system. The base station records all events without the need for a cloud contract. Again, lean and inexpensive. I like the cameras. They mount easily. The video quality is good; both day and night. The speaker and microphone work well enough. All in all, for what I was looking for, I am very satisfied.
